  1. Before we lost 6-1 to Newcastle, we were playing without fear and enjoying it. Yes, we lost matches but we were an attacking force. Playing with confidence and going for the win. Then the freak 6-1 at Newcastle happened, we got whipped. I think it dented AN confidence as we have not played as attacking every since. Yes we got a couple of wins over December, but I think he does not want to be embarrassed again, but it''s worked in reverse . He''s told the players he never wants to see that again, now they are cautious and tentative about making a mistake, and their confidence is drained
  2. I had a 15 quid bet at 16/1. I would love ti lose this bet. But I saw it comin a few months ago.negative tacttics Try
  3. He''s not as good as Ruddy, and Mr R will get his place back as soon as he is fit. But i like how much Bunn cares, hates to beaten and will fight for everthing, if all the rest of the players in the team, had the same determination and attitude, then I think we would be mid table.
  4. I think it''s great that all these fans on this link support NCFC. Yes, some of them could have supported the closest team to them, but when your young, you have other ideas, and I think those who have stuck to them, are brilliant.Only a muppet (mungo) would class them as glory hunters, because we have had little glory over the years they have supported us for. I''m born in Norwich, live close to the ground, but I believe we are all equal in our love for the team!!
  5. He''s just a man looking after his family''s interest as we all are. Yes, he gets paid more than most of us can dream about, but thats football. If we all got the chance to double our wages, would we turn it down because we like the accolade our job gets us, No, we pay for our children and our future. So please let us offer Grant the contract he deserves. If he leaves I will be gutted, but as a father I will understand. I will thank him for what he has done and wish him good luck for the future. But life at NCFC will go on with or without him.NCFC forever!!
  6. I hope we keep Culverhouse as he knows the players, and is a good head coach. But I feel Lambert we be successful with or without him at Villa . Ferguson has had many assistants at Man U, and he still keeps standards the same with new staff. I''m sure it will be the same for Lambert. But hopfully Houghton can take us to the next level, that Lambert didn''t think he could take us.
  7. He''s just copying Martin ON. Robbie savage said MON , would ignore you if he saw you in town. Ignore you while walking down the same corridor. And insist you call him Gaffer.Just to let you know he''s in charge. This works to a certain point, and has made MON quite wealthy, but MON only manages Sunderland now not Man U, which was mentioned 6 yrs ago. So copy him Paul, but he aint Alex.
  8. If Lambo is going to get his money doubled at Villa, Culverhouse will also get his money doubled, which is probably be more than we could pay him to manage the club. Also with out the pressure of being manager. So i don''t think he will stay, as 99% of us would change jobs if our money was doubled, why should they be more loyal than the rest of us. They are just looking after their own and their family''s interest. Good luck Paul,Cully and Karsa. But long live NCFC, hope they have just built the foundations for another good manager to prosper from like Walker did from Stringer.
  9. I don''t post often, but i do read this site often, so this is just my little rant: 1 .Stop caring what Lawro says, hes just a pundit, hes got his opinion as we all have. 2. Stop being jealous of Swansea media coverage, only media coverage, see No 1. They play nice footy, not our concern, unless we are playing against them. 3. Holt for England. I think he would be great, but on the down side, if he did get taken and didn''t play great, would that damage him. Would he lose confidence, would opposing teams boo him, like after the Beckham foul 1998. 4. PL leaving. Hopefully he can build us as Moyes has Everton. But lets just love him while he''s here. 5. Last but not least Willbraham, looked on here a few weeks ago and people were offering to drive this man to portaloo if he could be got rid of, good on the lad!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. I think if Grant does ever play for England or score in a FA Cup final win. They could make a film of the inspired story of his life(for UK only).Like the Cinderella man film of James Braddock, a man going no where then got a chance and took it.Obviously this can only happened after he has retired, but would be a great life story film.
  11. Been some people say they don''t get on and dislike each other. If this is true why would Morrison say this on talksport: http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/euro-2012/england/1589/71/exclusive-morison-holt-deserves-england-chance
  12. As Lambert said on MOTD, fans have to be realistic. We are a new team in this league, with untried players at this level, yes we are doing ok so far. For us now to turn up as think we will easily beat an established team like Fulham, is a bit naive. We have done great so far, but remember where we were, bottom of Lg1 after a 7-1 loss a couple of years ago. Lamberts doing a fantastic job, and I can only hope we stay in this league and keep Mr Lambert at this club. Please don''t drive him out of our club because of getting to big for our boots to early!
  13. I was one of the ones who doubted Ruddy when he came, we had Fraser who performed tops in Lg 1. I think Fraser is goin to make a top keeper, and thanks for what he did.I watched one of Ruddys first games, a friendly against Everton, where he let a easy chance go through his legs= very worried. But confidence is the same for keepers as for strikers, but get judged more as keeper mistake means a goal has been scored. Ruddy is fantastic, and Joe Hart must be shi^^ing himself. Ruddy know has the confidence, and will be in the England team soon.Just hope the top teams don''t come and buy him off us.
  14. I follow Rochdale as my second team, as my dad was born there. Norwich has always been my team, and I think my dads for the last 40 yrs, but we still watch out for their results.
