1st wizard the same could be said about Wes Hoolahan and his release clause. But that would be fine if he came here wouldn''t it. Or would you not want Hoolahan because we got him on the cheap because of his release clause. The same can be said with Earnie and Derby last summer! Get over it!!

I disagree. I don''t know the in''s and out''s of things but the way Roeder was talking a month ago we were going to have to wait until the end of may(the surprise he was on about) before he could officially go after anybody. Yes we have been linked to quite a few players before now, but NOW he has been given the "Green light" to actually go after them.

Very good question!!! I thought Butterworth and Linighan were a great pairing. They also had Culverhouse and Bowen as left back and right back either side of them. This made a really strong defence.

The same thing happened last summer. We would declare interest in a player, not do anything for weeks, other clubs would then come along and put an offer in, and we ended up losing out. Even though the transfer window is not open yet, we still see players moving from club to club. Chris Commons is just one example moving from Forest to Derby. We here all these rumours from our scout''s saying this player would be good, but whats the point because unless they are free they have no chance of coming here. Why are we stalling on players like: Hoolahan, Gorkks, James Brown etc. They are all cheap as chips, but no we wait for all other clubs to express an interest and then a bidding war starts out.

I can believe this because he would be free. I thought we had moved on from last year getting all these free scottish rejects! Anyone would think Peter Grant was still here!

That niggling injury was 3 years ago. Big shame if we don''t go for him, i thought he would of become a real crowd pleaser!

Getting a player to STAY for another year is NOT a new signing. Fotheringham is not prem quality, too many passes going astray, being under hit or over hit. For me i wasn''t really bothered if he stayed or not. We need better than this, if we want to do better than the last season!
