1. Thats the thing CLOSE to signing a striker. Football isn''t an exact science just be patient.
 2. the 4-4 draw with Boro for me. My dad wanted to leave, my brother wanted to leave. Something inside me told me it would be stupid to leave. And I was proved right. Brilliant come back
 3.
I never worry about pre season friendlies. I think we had a poor pre-season the year we won the league didn''t we?
I think we didIMO we''ve had a good pre season when was the last time we played well on our preseason tour?
 4. Some other pre season results from our leagueBlackpool 0-2 St Mirren Swindon 1-1 CardiffBarnsley 0-6 WiganChesterfield 1-0 Sheffield WednesdayBrentford 1-1 WatfordHereford 0-0 SouthamptonCheltenham 1-1 Bristol CityFalkirk 2-0 QPR so cheer up its only a friendly
 5.
Is anybody here keeping up to date with ''Dream team'' on sky 3? I would love it if G.R was anything like Don!
I watched the odd episode recently. Awful show but brings back memories. Don certaintly won''t take no shit.
 6.

Nelson is a crap goalie. I know he needs to shout instructions as a keeper but if he''s doing it all the time then he''s acting like he''s fantastic and above everyone else. Unless he was the skipper of course.
Nelson wasn''t wearing an armband. If I had been playing in front of him I''d have felt very patronised."Keep hold of it... keep hold of it... keep hold of it... pass!"
He sounds worse than meI tend to stick with "What the Fing Hell do you think you''re doing" aimed at a striker at the other end of the pitch.
 7.
Why does he get beaten through the legs time & time again 3 times last nyt and loads last season I really hope he sorts this out coz he does far to often for my liken
You can tell you''ve never played in goal. You have two options make yourself big or dive at their feet. David Marshall, like the majority of keepers nowadays, makes him self big. It is impossible to keep your legs shut when you make yourself big. In a one-on-one situation the striker should score the keeper has a very hard job
 8.

Gilles Sunu has been spotted at the club this morning
So you''ve gone on the Arsenal website and picked a striker.Who isn''t even eligible for loan as he doesn''t have a pro contract.
My mistake he has signed pro forms. Still no one would recognise him coming out of colney.

 10.

http://norwichcity.myfootballwriter.com/full_article.asp?i=3801 from the clues, he''s young, pretty much unheard of and probably on loan
Oh that''s brilliant [:|]
Ched Evans was young, unheard of and on loan. He turned out alright.
 11.
I was interested in the fact that Roeder said:"And I''m working on bringing another one in before the window closes - in the way, that we will have four strikers come the window closing."Four?  He is allegedly signing one in 48 hours and another in 7-14 days, plus Cureton, Lupoli and Martin to me equals five??
Roeder last night stated he was very close to signing two strikers and one within the next 48 hours, they are un known to us so far,     who could they be?

Martin not in the plans then.
 12. This after someone jokingly mentioned it in another thread...
 13. I would have no problem with away fans as long as they didn''t celebrate too much and ram it down fans throats if they were winning. Didn''t go tonight but we had a fair few of them during the premiership year who were correctly asked to leave.
 14.
So seeing as he is set to be unveiled officially tomorrow morning, will he be available for the Spurs game in the evening? KB
He should be, normal rules don''t apply for friendlies, which is why you can play trialists and under 16 players should you want
 15. I''ve not seen it but this is Adeyembihttp://www.foncy.co.uk/Pictures/Orient/Orient_2008_TA.jpg
 16.
I wonder why the BBC and SkySportsNews have confirmed it, but not the pinkun/official website? Im guessing there just a bit behind! Oh well, hope hes a good signing, i should think the door for shacks to leave is now open!
Probably somehting to do with it being a Sunday
 17. Was an excellent player before his injury but been out for a hell of a long time, unsure about this signing.
 18. I got back from holiday mine hadn''t arrived either I''ve emailed the club and they say they''ll reprint it and send it out Monday. Very simple just gave them name address and membership number and they complied. Took them over 24 hours to reply though.

Gareth Southgate will turn to David Marshall to cure his keeping frailties.
I quite like Marshall, but given his lack of command of the six yard box, wouldn''t that be a bit like Southgate turning to cigarettes to cure cancer?
their current keepers are Brad Jones, Ross Turnball and Jason Steele. Marshall is a damn sight better than any of them
Yeah, but they''ve all got better names.  They sound like a squad of slightly disaffected, maverick New York detectives who solve crimes and play for Middlesborough FC in their spare time.David Marshall - sounds like a fishmonger.
Lets hope Mr. Southgate has your mindset

 21. No insider info just whispers from some people up north. Gareth Southgate will turn to David Marshall to cure his keeping frailties. Don''t know the amount of truth in it just thought I''d share.
 22.
The £1 for the first three issues offer sounds TOO good to be true. Cancelling your subscription after that must be a real hassle or something.
I got a voucher for a free first three issues. That was 2 years ago, to this day I haven''t paid for an issue :)
 23. Or they may not have turned up thinking the game was below them.
