1. Would go missing. His hearts not it in. The club would put him up in a suite at st giles house hotel, He would get too comfortable, complacent, reliant on room service and would see out his contract doing minimal work in training. He would likely team up with bar 11 and some floppy haired waste product , whos leared how to play 3 chords on the guitar, kaboul to do the rapping and floppy hair to strum along. Yeah, avoid basically.
2. He''s a class act. No nonsense, powerful and direct.
3. Currently available on a free - we should snap him up. Exactly the type of player we need. Wears his balls on his sleeve and gives 110% every game. Has been the driving force in establishing Stoke as a top flight side for a number of years.
4. An excellent lesson in defending by both teams. A complete shut out. I hope AN was watching this match as it was a masterclass in how to defend. The game isn''t always about attacking prowess. I hope AN gets his back 4 to watch this game pre-season.
5. How the fuck do u quote someone on this archaic piece of shit forum without all the html commands
6.
I hope AN is on holiday.
Those stats will mean nothing when we''re getting tonked every week in the prem. We need to toughen up, starting from now. I''ve been reading about the regime atJuventus, evra saying the work pre - season is like no other, the training drills are harder than the games, players bashing each others heads together, screaming, failure isn''t an option . That''s how you win a league, domestic cup and get to a European final right there... not by being on holiday pre - season
7. It was a lesson in defending. A lesson we as a club should learn - I hope AN was watching today
8. I take it you didn''t watch the England game today?
9. Get the impression Lineker seems to think that motd would fall apart without him and that he''s some sort of footballing analytical genius. Shearer is dull, but the worst is danny Murphy - how this mammal has such a presence on tv and radio is beyond my personal comprehension. I was listening to him on talksport recently whilst driving, bearing in mind it was the middle of the day, my eyes started to go heavy, I drifted off, luckily I came to just in time to swerve duck leading it''s young across the road and their were no casualties, but it was too closer a call to ignore and quickly switched over to radio 2
10. Cash in on Redmond - couple of step-overs and run it off into the corner for as throw isnt going to keep us up next year. Replace him with Barton or Charlie Adam, job done
11. Soldado. Out of favour at spurs, was absolutely quality in la liga, a natural finisher. Seriously, a marquee signing is needed to show we aren''t messing about. We''re top flight now, if Leicester can sign cambiasso then we can get someone with some pedigree.
12. Totti. Could be hard to prize away from roma and is getting old but would show we''re serious about becoming a European force. Put him up in the top floor pent house of westlegate tower (1 minute walk from Bella Italia)
13. We need a marquee signing and Oscar is achievable with the right approach.
14. Oscar. Proven PL talent and will be leaving in the summer. Talk of Juve going in for him but why not us? We''re in good shape financially, use 70 mil from the 120 to sign him and pay his wages for 3 seasons. Build the team around him, make him the marquee signing, show the world we are a serious PL outfit and not the minnows we have the reputation of being. Put him up in a mansion in Cringleford, show him we mean business.
15. Huth Barton Scott Parker Austin Adam Shelvey Any of them
16. I''ve spoken in previous threads about Roeder.. He was driven out of the club by the media, because he wasn''t a yes man to the board and didn''t take any c rap. Had he been allowed to implement the system he was working on i have no doubt in my mind we would be an established top flight side by now.
17. Keep it dirty I say, the more mud and sand the better. We need to make the ground a place where teams don''t want to come for a jolly.
18. Label someone a troll because they have a different opinion to you... are you 13yrs old? I live and breathe the club, im just not going to ride the hype train of us getting out of (and only just managing it) the championship, when we should and could be an established premier league side like Stoke or West Brom.
19. Yeah, that same lethargic spirit which has turned us into a yo-yo club. Barton would shake things up a bit, he''s a decent player too.
20. Would love to see barton at city. Boo hoo, barton doesn''t fit into the fluffy, comfort-mould that our club has championed for forever and a day... so what?? "Oh but barton might post some controversy on twitter..!" can''t be any worse than Bassong tweeting himself POSING WITH A GUN! Making Dussindale look like south central LA. The board needs to take risks to strive forward, establish us as a force in the top flight, top 6 side and actually look to win something. Never mind the bollocks
21. Barton is the exact type of ballsy workhorse we need in the club - we are too nice and fluffy. Get some ballsy players in, huth and barton then some quality upfront like charlie Austin.
