1. Has potential, but being the closest thing to a celebrity in Beccles hasn''t helped him. He should be sent out on loan well away, where parading around like some kind of superstar results in a damn good hiding!
2. I think that''s a bit tough to answer before we actually see them play a few games! I''m probably most excited by Hoolahan but also hopeful Stefanovic will add that touch of class missing from our centre backs in recent years!
3. Back on the subject of removing injured players fromthe field, this one always made me smile... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQVdfqdNz3o&feature=related
4. It''s oh so quiet, and that''s even with all the recent furore regarding Peter Cullum''s cash! The silence really is deafening on the transfer front. July 1st they all said... It''s actually quite infuriating!
5. I''m sure Stoke, Hull and Bristol City fans saying similar things last year would also have been shot down in the same manner!
6. I think I''ll be able to take the Doc more seriously if that rumour that he''s shaved off his rapidly diminishing hair is true!
7. Last night I had a dream that we signed Chris Iwelumo on a free from Charlton. I suppose he''s linked up well with Cureton in the past and would take him here. Saying that, I do have some rather random dreams - I also dreamt back in January that we signed Martin Taylor.
8. I hope it was a case of Doc being offered a contract on vastly reduced terms (I assume he was, hence his delay in signing). He''s worth having around the place as a squad player but I would NOT be happy starting the season with him and Shackell as our first choice CB''s. I don''t think there''s a lot to choose between them really, both are mediocre defenders, no pace, clumsy at times, and both have the same ideas with ball distribution... up to you Jamie lad - HOOOOF!
9.
I think im mostly anxious about the defence, personally I would like to see Gorkks and Albrechtson, say goodbye to Doherty and tell Shackell that the standard is set if he wants a future at the club. Thats the position I have wanted rectified since Malky left.
Completely agree, although fully expect Gow to be next.
10. NO. It''s good to see us benefitting from a buy-out clause this summer! I guess they do work both ways.
11. Would love to see him here. He''d be the perfect foil for a predatory striker.
12. I was under the impression Gow is an attacking midfielder - plays in ''the hole'' behind the strikers?
13. Hmm the Friday off work, football friday night, racing saturday followed by a few beers in Donnie and trundle back Sunday. I reckon that''s a damn good weekend by the look of it!
14. We''ve been crying out for a goal-scoring midfielder (that seems to be what Gow is playing ''in the hole'') for years! Now I know nothing about the guy but his record before he moved to Rangers seems decent and their fans (limited research!) all seem to think he''s worth a punt. He may not have played for Rangers but you''d do well to remember that Le Guen signed him (pre-contract terms on a free) before he left and then Smith came in ripped all the creative talent out of the side made them into one of the most boring sides in Europe! If he comes just get behind him and the rest of the team for ****''s sake!
15.

Nothing particularly new to report just an affirmation... A guy I have been speaking to through work over the last few months works for a company heavily involved with Blackpool FC. Today he claimed that Wes is a personal friend and is set to join us having already completed his medical here a couple of weeks back, although he''s currently in Dubai with the missus so won''t be unveiled until he returns.
You''re full of cr*p
Pathetic. For a start, if you want to say crap just say crap. Secondly, what exactly deserved that outburst? Answer - nothing. Either take rumours in the spirit they are intended, or get lost. You have no place here.
Crap (did it get through?) It''s the rumour that''s pathetic.  In what spirit are the rumours intended?  To build up people''s hopes based on very little evidence and have a good laugh at our expense from south of the Waveney more often than not.  A lot of fairly desperate fans are talking as though Hoolahan is a done deal and the club are just playing their cards close to their chest.  Some of them think his release clause means he has to be sold for £250k.  It doesn''t.  It means that if someone offers that amount they can''t refuse it.  But if someone else offers more then he goes to the highest bidder as per usual. I hope he signs, but fwiw I don''t believe it would have got as far as a medical without the press finding out.  As for the Blackpool fans website, why should they know any more than we do.
There is no agenda behind what I''ve said, I''m just passing on information that i''ve heard relating to that transfer - I thought others on here would like to hear it too. For all I know, it could be complete crap but I have no reason to believe it is, although like so many other rumours I have nothing to confirm that it''s true either! Just take it for what it is.
16.
the way russia have broken teams down recently I have a feeling they''ll beat spain and win the whole thing. be a shame coz hardly good footy but worked for greece 4 years back
Greece did win playing dour football fours years ago but Russia have been playing some great fluid football, Arshavin in particular has looked superb and the fulll backs bomb forward in support providing real width - just look at the chances they created against Sweden and Holland. It wouldn''t be a shame in my opinion - just another case of Hiddink working his magic on an ''unfashionable'' nation.
17. Seems we feel confident in the fact that he''s on holiday anyway! I''ll bet he''s not caravanning!

19. Quelle supris! Give us our derby back!
20. Let''s try again now I''ve actually proof read it... This may all be academic now anyway as West Brom have apparently bid £4m for Ameobi now but I can''t help thinking he''s hugely overpriced! There are positive aspects to us being in for him - a statement of intent, the hope he''d attract other players to the club, his history of playing well under  under Roeder''s management etc, and I understand that the £3.5m total we (may or may not have) bid would be with various add-ons, with far less being paid up front. Although even if we paid £2m up front it''s still a hefty price for a largely unproven, injury-prone striker who seems to have had ''potential'' for 5+ years now. I would want more than Ameobi currently offers for £3.5m. At £1m I think he would represent a decent buy but he seems too much of a gamble if we''re talking the quoted figures. West brom are welcome to him for £4m! Unless of course this is some kind of elaborate ploy by the board and we were never actually attempting to sign the guy - they''re just duping us into believing we''re in for him in order to keep the ''board bashers'' at bay! [:O]

22. Only last week Sky Sports News were repoprting that Ipswich bid £3.5million for Ameobi and Newcastle had accepted it. He was ''on his way'' supposedly! Now it''s us. They''re just regurgitating what''s in the press.  We''re obviously after him but I don''t think anyone can elaborate on that with hard facts!
