1. My Old Man''s a Welshman who''s more interested in rugby, but he had a thing about Nott''s Forest under Clough - so that was my port of call. Until I went to Carra when I was about 11. That was it then. If I make babies they''ll have no say in it whatsoever.!
2.
What do you lot think are the best results of the season so far? I my humble opion the best 2 results were City 1 Col U 7 this force the board to make changes at managment level. If the result had been 1-2 Gunny would have stayed at the top and the team would be mid table at best. The next best result was Carlisle 3 City 1 in the cup. Just look at Leeds form since they beat Man U. A cup run would have been fun but promotion is far more important.
So your best results of the season were the ones that sucked the most! Bet it''s a laugh riot in your house! Did you have a chuckle at Brentford away too?Col Who away for me.
3. Be funny if Xara decide to stich us up for their final kit and it''s a shocker! I have it on good authority that it''s a three piece with waistcoat. Optional pocket watches.
4. Interestingly Yellow Blood, that''s the one Xara kit I''ve really thought looked ok for ages.
5. This cannot possibly be correct? We didn''t battle our way down an epically jammed A13 for 3 hours to an alcohol dry chav town on a freezing night to have an entirely pointless trip points wise. We fielded a professionally prepared squad and risked injury for those points. They''re ours! It''s hardly NCFC''s fault they can''t organise themselves is it?
6. Honestly - I''ve no idea what you''re all banging on about. The Xara kits are tacky and cheap looking. I''ll be glad to see the back of em.
7.
What is your favourite moment of the season so far? Mine is Rusty''s equaliser at Gillingham i think in the 96th minute. Great Scenes.
Yeah that''s my fave! The woman next to me was convinced that scaffold we were perched on was going to collapse! That and reading the thread on the Millwall site about Stuwall''s double ticket boo boo!
8.

Classic! but you kinda feel for him,and some idiots on there were completely out of line.I just hope they beat Charlton on saturday.
Do you think Stu will be going??? lol
Yeah.... twice !!! Cracking stuff. It has pathos too! I felt genuine warmth towards him, he gets all defensive and paranoid but still doesn''t understand what''s wrong. I love how sweet everyone is on there winding him up (with the exception of a few nasties). Funny as hell. The post count keeps climbing, he''ll be interviewed by the league show on Saturday.
9. I like him. I may not alsways agree with what he says but I like him. That is all.
10. pete_norw : "If anything I think Delia will want to have a big Look at me Party, and get all her happy clappers behind her again, Myself I will be content to congratulate the team on the last match of the season, as I think a lot of us will."God that''s really sad when you think about it. Have we really come to a point where the celebration of anything positive happening to the club is cast into a cynical light as the opportunity for PR furtherment by the board? Does it matter a jot what their public response is? Surely the only way to drown out their noise is for there to be resounding and impulsive responses by the fans? I''d prefer The Smith''s response to any success in this league to be pragmatic and long sighted. But IF we do the business, we the fans reserve the right to go as nut nuts as we like!
11. Oh and by the way - for the record. If we were to win it, I think some sort of a knees up would be in order. It would be churlish and patronising not to acknowledge the good times we''ve had this season. Also our nearest competitors for the top spot are testament to how much of an achievement it is to bounce out first time of asking. A low key shindig would definitely be in order. But in the mean time.... SHHHHHH !!
12. I''m definitely enjoying what we''re achieving now. I just get a bit jittery about planning open top bus routes while there''s still a load of tricky fixtures to negotiate.
13. Any chance we could SHUT UP about this until we''re even nearly there? Few games left to play yet people.
14. Champions please! It would be funny if Ipsw*tch went down, but ultimately I''m not fussed about them at all.
15.

I just hope he ends up at a club that''s willing to give him a fair opportunity instead of one that dismisses you on the back of a single poor game...
Lambert won''t have written him off solely on the colchester game (though he got as a good a view on that performance as anyone), theres training to impress in (how smith got in the team), reserves games (how hoolahan got back in the team) and chances have come about for most due to injuries etc (how Doc got back in the team). He had chances (Alnwick''s injury, forsters suspension) but presumably because of training and reserves performances along with not turning up to go the Gilllingham JPT game, he kinda made the decision for Lambert.Everyone plays fair by Lambert and he plays fair by them. We''ve seen others who acted maturely, fought for their places and got back in the side, Theo may never have been in Lamberts plans due to their better options in his opinion but he simply just messed up too many times. In Lambert i trust, Goodbye Theo!
What he said.
16. Thanks for the feedback Original_Champions. Interesting read. We can only hope that Lambert has some type of relationship with the guy and can get him contributing.
17. Oh - ok my bad - although honestly I have no idea where I would have got that from as I honestly don''t think Stuart Elliott is in even my sub-conscious! Is our boy out and out righty then?
18.
please correct me if im wrong didnt he play on the wing for a while??? scoring something like 11 goals from that position Not ot sure about this one, but in Lambert i trust[Y]
Yeah he''s left sided isn''t he? I see options! Will keep Lappin on his toes too.
19. Cody will feature Brendo - never fear - This is a squad signing.
20. Even Nels and the Doc can keep him in their pockets! I hope they play him against us to be frank. We made the better signing today.
21. Surely this is a squad swelling move - with a view to putting pressure on the Martin''s in the squad and keep everyone keen?? Also a bit of experience of the old promotion / relegation end of season shenanigans... I like it.
22. Brendo - am I right in thinking you used to be a 15 year old lad called Brendan but have recently changed names? If not - where''s Brendan?
23. Binner''s post or not, Lambert is an ambitious guy and also must be aware of the contemporary nature of football management. Nothing''s forever in this game, he knows it and if we''re honest with ourselves so do we. The best possible scenario is that he leaves for something more challenging or higher profile having further established his credentials by taking us as far as he can. The opposite alternative to this is that he leaves under a cloud after a lengthy period of struggle. Not something he seems likely to do (more likely that he''ll keep his wits about him and be on his toes so that it doesn''t get that far and he''s off to pastures new before we all hate each other). Lambert''s not a Norwich man and I only hope he leaves oweing us nothing. Be realistic guys, he''s doing the job he''s here for now and he''s doing it as well as possible. Our role as a club is to make it as difficult for him to leave as possible (unfinished business / the constant improvement of the club''s potential etc'') so that he feels that this is the place where he can enjoy the steepest possible trajectory (on a micro level - he''s doing the same thing week after week with our more important playing staff members). The nearest equivalent would have been O''Neil, we all fear Lambert leaving in frustration before his potential at the club is realised.Nothing lasts. He knows it and so do you. Sorry to cast a pall on the love affair - I think he''s the nuts as much as the next guy, but come on people - we know the game well enough by now not to let emotions cloud our interpretation of these things.
