The 0-4 after 20 minutes was enough for some to forecast that the season was already over. Long way to go yet and don''t know what to expect next, we''ll just have to wait and see what transpires.
Maybe but after yesterday what would you put your money on promotion or relegation?
I really am concerned as to the quality of the new players we have brought in. Hoolan looks streets ahead of everyone else in the team, which worries me as he is not at his best. I do''t hold out a lot of hope but hope to goodness I''m wrong and that this was just a massive blip.
this is the whole problem we are hoping he lucks out!! you cant continue wit this!
The straw I cling to is that the pre-season was good. Now that maybe because they were just Friendlies, we won''t know until we have given the team a chance and just see what transpires.

 3.
Hoolahan held on to the ball for too long because literally no-one was making runs for him. The flat footedness across the middle was awful and actually Wes highlighted this by moving and jinking into available space at all times. He and Holt were the only 2 players on the pitch who didn''t completely bottle it.
Hoolahan did that and must have been so exasperated at the lack of movement all over pitch, except for Holt. Hope these players we have are better than I think they are otherwise we are up the creek without a paddle. Will give them time.

 5.
I''ve not heard of a club sacking their manager one game in to the new season...
Or even after 30 minutes like the two heroes wanted him to be. Although the game was an unmitigated disaster it is 1 game so let''s see how team performs over next few weeks.
 6.
It''s not the club bringing charges against them. It is an offence to run onto the pitch during the game. They were arrested and will get the standard treatment from the courts. It is very rare that there is no prosecution for this offence. Fine  + 3 year banning order from all grounds etc
I presume they would have known that if they have followed football for any length of time, it is their own stupid faults.
 7. We are a laughing stock with the rest of the football world at the moment. It''s going to take a lot to come back from this defeat and it is probably a good job we are away from Carrow Road for the next 3 matches. Players will get away to Somerset for a week which will give them chance to sort themselves out. To me the big question is; ARE THE SQUAD GOOD ENOUGH TO COMPETE IN THIS DIVISION?. From what took place pre-season the answer would suggest it is, as performances especially against Crystal Palace and Wigan were very good and pre-season as a whole went well. There were very few posters on here who were not expecting us to do well this season after seeing and reading about those pre-season games and the message board was full of justified optimism. Now the reverse is true after the shambolic performance yesterday. We can pick out individuals to vent our spleen on and admittedly some made errors which led to goals, but in reality the performance as a team was diabolical. Passing was woeful and we just capitulated. Only time will tell us whether BG''s assembled squad is going to be good enough and hopefully players will recover and show that they ARE GOOD ENOUGH. If we just go off yesterdays performance then we haven''t got a hope of surviving.

Ban the yobs, they clearly didn''t have the brain cells to think of a more constructive way to protest against what they saw. Absolute morons.
Idiots, morons either word describes them well.  To forfeit their season tickets after only 25 mins of season is their prerogative but just about sums up their mentality.
Your the idiot Tribes. You obviously didnt go yesterday. Tension was bubbling away from last season''s relegation, and yesterday was the last straw for a lot of people. I was absolutely beside myself with rage. The fans have had enough, the REAL fans have had enough of this tripe and 2 of them lost there cool. Yesterday was diabolical and totally unaccetable. Were convinced to fork out £300 again and this is what we get in the first game. Went yesterday and wasn''t too pleased myself also went to Wigan game and was. Yesterday was diabolical. A lot of supporters lost their cool yesterday but two of them went over the top and decided to confront the manager whilst the match was on. If you think that is acceptable then fair enough.
 9.

Sorry, I can''t condone what they did. When you purchase you season ticket you agree to abide by the rules of the club and those guys knew the rules. If you accept their behaviour then you are sanctioning the breaking of any of the club rules that are in place at the time.
So answer the question... All of the people who broke the rules of Crewe Alexandra FC on the final day of our promotion season, should they be banned also, or simply banned from Gresty Road???  [:^)]
Impractical to do it. Not impractical to ban just 2.
 10.
Fully agree Arthur  [Y] If they are going to ban this pair then why not ban all of the fans who were on the pitch at Crewe in our promotion season? It is absolutely ridiculous how some view entering the pitch a criminal activity.
So anyone should be able to go onto pitch at any time then. They are idiots and certainly not heroes.

 12.
Here''s a couple of pictures: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1205296/Norwich-1-Colchester-7-Furious-fans-Gunn-amid-Norwich-seven-goal-humiliation.html?ITO=1490 "two incensed supporters got on to the pitch and raced towards Gunn, one of them ripping up his £350 season ticket and throwing it towards the manager." how do you rip up a plastic card?
Pair of scissors needed I would have thought.
 13. Right till the end. Was in shock I guess, certainly didn''t see this coming after seeing Wigan game and doubt if many who saw that game expected a performance like todays.
 14.

Uncle being a Leeds fan, i''ll quote what he said to me online: "Apparently So Grayson Was With Him @ Blackpool And Wants Him Onboard Lol All Over Elland Road Yesterday M8 Apparently Hes The Man To Replace Delph" Lets be honest, it''s not like they couldn''t afford him. Thoughts?
He is better placed at Norwich, Facts are 3 years in league 1 and still there! Plus elland road and leeds is a dump hole! Hoolahan will be a Norwich player for this season!
Hopefully he will and could be big difference between promotion or not.
 15.
Why would we want to sell him to one of our rivals for promotion? He wont be going up a division by joining Leeds like Marshall and Croft did when they joined Cardiff and Derby, and he said a few weeks back he wanted to stay at Norwich. He would be betraying the fans if he went back on his word and left Norwich to join Leeds.
Players often say what is the most sensible at the time, he wouldn''t say he didn''t want to stay in case he had no choice and had to stay. I will be surprised if he is here at the start of the season.
 16.
can we not enjoy the wins when they come otbc
That really is asking a lot. Nowadays so much focuses on the next match, "we''ll see what happens next week" or if we win then the team we played are either not fit or they had an off day. We played well and beat a team that play in Prem League and both teams were trying. Enjoy the win?. As I say you are asking a lot of some.
 17.

World Class player, easily prem class!
Jesus christ, i honestly cant believe what i read on here sometimes. The kid is awful, may find is level here, obviously the championship was far too tough for him.
Last preseason, Tottenham couldn''t deal with him, this preseason a Manchester XI couldn''t cope with him, and he ran the game yesterday and was arguably the most influential player on the pitch. Hoolhan exhibited a very good workrate, exceptional skill & vision. We have that rare commodity in the English game; a playmaker. He is without doubt most effective/causes the most damage when given license to roam and hence why others need to plug ''his'' hole, nominally on the left. I can''t stand a typically rigid 442 anyway. Give me the fluidity that Hoolahans inclusion brings to a formation anyday. Stuns me that some are so blind to his immense, pivotal contribution. When on his game, he is the heartbeat of our team.
When on his game....... And how often is that? Man Utd XI.......... You mean under 18''s? Wes is 27 years old and we are the best club he has played for 3 tier of English football, doesnt make the ROI team. Hardly ''world class or prem standard'' Every player that is the ''creative type'' has moments of absolute brilliance and good games. Unfortulnatly Wes isnt good enough, constantly enough. He is lightweight, one footed, not particulary fast, doesnt score enough and not consistant. Might do ok at the level we are at this year.   Just one more question, if hes ''world class and prem standard'' why is he at still at Norwich?
Not world class but an excellent footballer and certainly much better than you portray him to be.
 18.
Yeah that really annoyed me. He hadn''t even kicked a ball so how the hell can you make a judgement about how he''s gona play? Players in poor form need support not booing! I was struck, when watching highlights of our prem season, when after the mids 4-4 game Fleming said how the come back was led by fans singing "we''re gona win 5-4 we''re gona win 5-4" when we were 4-1 down. Thats the kinda fans we need, not boo boys! There has to be one player each season who is picked out by a number of fans to have a go at. Hughes; Docherty and Iwan Roberts in his first season here. If Cureton doesn''t play this year then someone else will take the manle. It''s in the nature of some "fans" to behave like that.
 19.

Jesus Rock, what you got the hump about. Not a Wigan fan by any chance???
It''s called a wind up, Herman. You''d be amazed how many people fall for it.
It''s pretty hard to tell who is and who aint on a wind up somedays!!!
Yes, it really is a wind up, Herman. But they keep coming back for more. Especially that WAYward woman. Now what was I saying???
A very good one too. Sense of humour is what is needed. Surprising that it was taken so seriously?.
 20.
Totally agree, was quaility today (baring one mistake that led to goal) cant quite belive that there are still fans knocking him, when you are lucky enough to have a player always looking for the killer ball there will always be times when it doesnt work but when it does it will invariably result in a chance, he is a must for next season especially at home when we are trying to unlock defensive formations.
It''s also a pleasure to watch him play and he always seems to be one step ahead. The second goal was not just the pass but what went on just before he made it.
 21.

He was superb today and could make the difference between promotion or not. He reads game so well and am amazed no-one has come in for him.
shhhhhhhhhhhh [;)]
He reads the game so well and am surprised no-one has come in for him. Is that better just whispering it.

I''ll have a root around and paste the report here.
The coverage you give to NCFC is excellent eg. the last nights match live coverage. Pathetic that some have to moan about Archant at any given opportunity.
No no, they had every right to. One would expect a match report following the game. If not last night then at the very least this morning. Apologies.
It''s " the again from Archant " bit that is a bit much.
