1. Just the fact Hughton is being mentioned in the same breath as greats like Mick McCarthy and Billy Davies makes me feel like we''ve got the right man!
2. LOL - I have visions of you slowly over the last 10 years forgetting about him, thinking about him every day then today was the day you finally didn''t think about Hamilton and then BAM! I come on here and remind you of him and the whole process has to start over :)
3. One of the best posts here in ages Have you considered writing to the club with your findings? I''m sure they could make some space in the match day programme for your findings, I know I''d read it
4. I don''t doubt that PURM but: A) why bring it up? B) why go on to talk about lack of positives Another positive for me is how hughton has got 3 ''managers'' working harmoniously, there are not many people who could do that, that ultra man management will rub off on the players sooner rather than later.
5. Let''s work in facts shall we? We can only really judge Calderwood and Trollope in their current job titles and experiences as that in the past. Calderwood has Premier league experience as an assistant manager with Newcastle and also was assistant when they got promoted at the first time of asking also with Newcastle. He also oversaw Birmingham City''s assistant Manager duties last season as they managed a very admirable play off place. Trollope, although not a particularly distinguished coaching career has the previously mentioned Birmingham achievement, however as a previous manager would have to have (like Calderwood) undertaken very advanced coaching courses. Usually when a manager is appointed at a club then a club would get a manager with very advanced coaching qualifications and assistant manager and coaches with slightly less coaching qualifications, in terms of qualification we have a very advanced team here at Norwich and I''m really surprised I have to explain this. I haven''t even touched on David Watson (mostly because the thread was aimed at Calderwood and Trollope) who works with our goalkeepers on a daily basis, then when they go on international duty he continues to work with Ruddy. What an absolute touch. Just because things haven''t worked out as perhaps we''d hoped these things take a long time to get going, my point and as my point has always been when people lack the patience (much like the OP) they do tend to start taking pop shots at everyone (hence my tongue in cheek comment re: the tea lady''s job security) Henrik can scream until he''s blue in the face and sink to whatever level he wants to make his point, fact is I chose to support the management team and he doesn''t, I don''t have a problem with that but that''s just how it is.
6. Hmmm what was that about personal insults? It''s a shame you had to resort to such measures and I feel sorry for you. I was going to give you a full explanation of my theory on Calderwood and Trollope being a good thing for NCFC when i got back on my laptop (currently on iphone) but you can swing for it now. I''m also very sure ive never had the misfortune of meeting you
7. If that is supposed to be a full retraction of your OP then I accept that and if you''d said that in the first place then it could have saved us both a lot of time and typing energy Guess we won''t be questioning the tea lady after all.
8. Grant Holt and Colin Calderwood are both professionals, do you think Holt would have signed a new contract (a contract that by all intents and purposes Chris Hughton got him to sign) if he still held this grudge over Colin Calderwood? That''s football and that''s life, paths may be crossed again in the future surely you can see this? For instance, What about Neil Warnock signing El Hadj Diouf after calling him a sewer rat (or similar) previously? The point I was and still am making is you don''t know what goes on behind closed doors, equally you cannot compare someones managerial record with their assistant managers or coaching record. My opinion is having two ''ex managers'' as assistant and coach can only be a good thing and the proof as always will be in the pudding, your opinion is because (as Nutty eludes too) things aren''t going well you are going to slate everyone involved with the club showing a complete lack of patience. I found this to be disgraceful but others maybe not but that''s my opinion and I''m sticking by it sorry if that upsets you.
9.

Culverhouse and karsa by contrast had good manager cvs? Do you see the point I''m trying to make Sorry I fail to see the link when neither Trollope or Calderwood are managing our team. Hughton is That''s my opinion
I did think that Peas. They have now but it''s because of what they achieved here. I still don''t know what Karsa does but we were successful so no one cared. It''s natural for people to be anxious though.
Exactly my point NN, but to judge Calderwood''s and Trollope''s COACHING careers on their MANAGER careers is a bit unfair in my eyes... It''s borderline clutching at straws, that the OP no sooner slates our new manager that he then moves onto our coaching team...perhaps he''ll have a go at the kit man soon! I don''t even think Ethel the tea lady is safe from Henrik
10. Culverhouse and karsa by contrast had good manager cvs? Do you see the point I''m trying to make Sorry I fail to see the link when neither Trollope or Calderwood are managing our team. Hughton is That''s my opinion
11. I refuse to accept your view point when you constantly slag off our talented management team without any substance to back up your claims. It really doesn''t matter about Paul''s or Colin''s managing career as they are now in different job roles and I think it''s of benefit to have two ex managers in our back room staff My point is you base your OP on pure speculation (ref: grant Holts relationship with Calderwood) because as you have put you have found nothing on the Internet to suggest otherwise, to me that is disgraceful but if you think that''s ok then so be it
12. I really don''t get this Wes hoolahan ''love in'' There is no doubting he is a talented player but there is no way he was our best player today, was at fault for the 3rd and constantly got caught on the ball Hoolahan is an inconsistently good player who shows flashes of Both brilliance and football at a league one level, this is a commodity we can live without
13. It isn''t enough you have slated our manager, you have now moved onto the back room staff You are a disgrace
14. Fair enough, I thought any keeper would have struggled to save that given the time and space Hazard was allowed.
15. Our midfield is far too good for us to go down, I''m not panicking yet!
16.

If you haven''t got used to it in a season and 7 games then you never will
Stop getting on my tits Mr. Peas.
I''m going to go and get on my missus''s tits now
17. Not sure how you can question Ruddy Gingerpele for Hazards goal when the rest of the team gave up for that goal... Agree with your 2nd paragraph
18. If you haven''t got used to it in a season and 7 games then you never will
19. Not for me, Bassong is by far and away one of the best centre backs i have ever seen play for the club....
20. No I believe Barnett has been an inspiration, the only way I''d drop him is if we could somehow get Turner performing to his full potential and I believe pairing up with Bassong could do it. So I would go with something like: Whittaker Bassong Turner Garrido If Turner doesn''t react well to playing with Bassong and he is truly sh*te then Bennett or Barnett...
21. Russell Martin is so out of his depth its not even funny...the sooner Steven Whittaker is fit the better!
22. Good post BBB - there is truly a first time for everything....
