Man-E-Faces -
I can''t believe I am even bothering to waste my fingers typing this, they could be doing something much more useful!
Baffles me why you feel the need to confirm the fact that you''re a w*nker.
Isn''t irony wonderful! Ever thought about doing stand-up fella?! Don''t let it interfere with your studies, Mummy wouldn''t be pleased.
 2.
Thats right, you season ticket holders who gave the green light to the boards prudence policies when you renewed, fell for the Gunn appointment con trick, and those mindless fans who actually applauded the cook at Poorman Road after our defeat there. Our clubs failure is on YOUR head, be proud when we go down........you''ve damn well earned it![:@]
You really are a dick of the highest order. I can see why you are so popular on this forum!!! Love of the club maybe? I''m sure this is something you will never understand......I can''t believe I am even bothering to waste my fingers typing this, they could be doing something much more useful!
 3. Yes I''m going to my token one game a season at the Linnetts. A supplier sponsors the match ball once a year. Truth be known I''m only going for the free meal and drink. One thing I always say after the Lynn game every year is ''''I''m never moaning about the standard of football I watch at Carrow Road every other week, ever again.'''' Needless to say I always do but it brings home what poor quality footy non league is!
 4. Leroy Lita, he is still our top scorer. Who else really deserves it? I think it would be amusing at the last home game of the season (when we play Reading) if he has to come out and collect his award. It would also emphasise to the board what an awful season we have had.
 5.
Were Norwich in the Premiership then? Cant remember. If yes, there''s a programme on tv at 10pm tonight, you might see your players/team? [/quote Do you mean McAvennie and Cottee?!
 6.
A bad day today, and i do fear the worst now, but as a loyal ncfc fan, amongst all the other 24-25000 every home game at carrow road, i believe that we have a right to know why Peter Cullums bid was rejected, the board never told us the reasons why, surely we as loyal fans deserve the right to know excatly why Cullums bid was rejected,so come on board speak up for once, dont be gutless
I feel the same, totally depressed about what is happening to our club but....Cullum didn''t have the money. Not the amount Delia needed or wanted. Whatever anyone thinks of her she has pumped a hell of a lot of her own money into the club. Basiclly she valued the club at a certain amount and Cullum offered her half that. She would have based her figures on something. If your house was worth say 150k would you sell it for 75k?
 7.

If they were good enough they''d have had a kick by now.
Whatever happens, they WILL get a kick next season. If you look at the bigger picture, when/if we go down we will have no choice but to play them. The likes of Spillane and Martin will be regular fixtures.
So play they when we ''DO'' go down. Not yet
If we were playing well and winning I would agree but we aren''t. We haven''t won in 7 games. What extra harm could it do?

 9.

Yes, thats just what we need. Stick the kids in to confirm our relegation and kick their confidence in!
Ahh yes, I forgot how well our normal first teamers have been playing this season. Lets stick with them, we look like a team that is full of confidence. All I was saying was could they do any worse and may it help in the long run? I must say after watching our for many seasons I have never been so depressed about the state of NCFC.
Ask Weymouth kids how they felt after getting drubbed 7 nothing last week
I was 9 nil but who''s counting! Maybe not play all the youngsters at once but blood a couple a game?

 11. I know we are not relegated....yet but I think we all know the writing is on the wall. It is likely a lot of players will leave in the summer and with the our lack of financial backing we will be reliant on our youngsters pushing though and starting week in and week out in division 1. Do you think we should be starting players like Cody McDonald, Cory Smith, Luke Daley, Declan Rudd and Damon Lathrope in our last 11 games of the season? This would give them good football league experience in order for their enevitible inclusion in our first team next season. I really don''t think they could perform any worse than the likes of Fotheringham, Cureton, Marshall etc are at present. I''m sure Spillane and Martin will come back better players from their season long loans with Luton. I would be interested in your thoughts.
 12.

So he might be an average player but the way the crowd cheered and treated him when he went off  was way out of order .
When some people have had to think long and hard whether they can afford to commit there families money to supporting Norwich City next year. Can you really blame some people for booing an over paid fraud. The guy will be on a minimum of £5000 a week. Most of the fans haven''t earnt that yet this year. Booing isn''t my bag but I can see no problem with them letting a player, nay the captain know just how bad they think/thought he was. He will lose nothing from his performance today or this season. He will either remain at CR being over paid in League 1 or move to another team who have as bad a scouting system as we do. Either way  he will get paid far more a week than you, me and all bar 1% of the crowd at CR, most of who in the current climate will have to balance their finances carefully to continue to give the outstanding support they already do.
Well he is just another scape goat ,and no wonder the guy is struggling every time he gets the ball you can feel the crowd ready to jump on him,and if i can sense it i''m sure as hell he can. Still no way to treat your own players ,sorry but that is my opinion
It doesn''t all fall at the feet of one player but Mark Fotheringham is the captain of our team. Thus meaning  1) being a leader on the pitch and 2) Setting an example to the rest of the team. The team certainly have been following point 2)! Unfortunatley Fozzy is truly awful week in and week out.
 13.
Around 13 more in my opinion , 46 will that be enough ? very much doubt it .
No, I don''t think 13 will be enough. 2 games ago everyone was saying that Charlton and Southampton are down and the other relegation position will be between us, Forest and Plymouth. With Southampton winning yesterday imo it is now 3 from 5 teams. I still fancy Charlton to put a little run together. Our last game of the season could be very important and we all know how we perform under pressure like that! To be honest if you get less than 50 points in our division you deserve to go down.
 14. 21 points, he must be joking! After what I have been watching all season we will be lucky to get 15 more points. I have looked at the fixture and I am really struggling to see where we will get enough points to survive.
 15. I have to agree, this guy is truly awful. Could someone tell him that when trying to win a header you need to jump off the ground.
 16.
We''ll be in the bottom 3 because of Roeder and the board, not Gunn. Hes been in charge a week. If you''re fed up with the board, aim your aggression at them, not Gunn.
Agreed. If we go down it will be the boards and our previous two managers fault. Not Gunn''s.

I am normally Mr positive but this is the most depressed I have been in my 25 years as a season ticket holder. Great....and now we are 1-0 down to bloody Doncaster. Not very laughable ehh?
Bit melodramatic I think old chap.  Ever considered journalism as a career? Many years ago Colchester enjoyed good games against Norwich in Division Three (South).  We are still in Division 3 - we are still going and if you are unfortunate enough to be relegated I feel confident that you will still be going. Lincoln and Colchester have both been to the Blue Square conference (and back) and it''s the Lincoln 125th anniversary this year.  If those two can survive with less than a quarter of your support and probably only 20 per cent of your income and catchment area why can''t you?  You have thousands of loyal fans - why on earth wouldn''t you survive? Yours faithfully, Puzzled in Essex[:|]
Thanks for making me feel a whole lot better. I draw great heart from your response old bean. Have you ever thought about becoming a samaritan? ''''The end'''' was meant as a fall down the leagues, e.g going into administration and doing a Luton (starting on minus 30 points). I very much look forward to us playing the likes of Histon and Lewes and who knows we may even get a local derby against Kings Lynn. Whatever am I worrying about?! Kind Regards ''''Excited at the prospect of playing Blue Square football'''' in Norfolk
It''s painful, yes, if it happens but it''s still your club but you learn to live with it (I think)[;)] Magic moment of Colchester''s descent into the Blue Square was taking more away supporters than the home side produced. It''s not over yet and you have a lot of games to play. As it happens my wife is a Counsellor for the Samaritans and it''s not football that the callers are concerned about but I suppose some of it could have rubbed off on me.  [+o(]
Fair play! I may need your good ladies number come the end of the season!
absolutely pathetic. sorry, let''s all be positive should we? we can all be happy clappy mid table in division 1 next season, so sorry for not being positively overjoyed at the prospect
Oh fuck off, I was just complaining about people jumping on anything to complain.  It was clear when Carney signed that he would not be playing today.
Lets be honest old mate there is plenty to jump on! You stay positive though, I will just pour myself another glass of red to numb the pain!
 20. Don''t worry, all will be OK, Carl Cort has just come on for a full 45 mins to save us!

 23.
With any luck the first thing the new manager will get rid of this fraud of a football and he''ll be off where he belongs. The Conference.
Agreed, this guy has shown time and time again he is not fit to wear the shirt. Not his fault really, he just isn''t good enough at this level. Next stop the Highland League of Scotland.
 24.

If Worthington is appointed my support of the club I love finishes.  I will not go ever again while that c*nt is back in charge.
I can see it happening tonight, Worthington resigns as manager of NI, tomorrow Worthington appointed NCFC manager, why are they putting us through this? whats wrong with Boothroyd and Malkey

Harsh. No matter how things ended, Worthington was still one of our most successful ever managers. I really can''t believe some of the dross people write about him.
I have no problem with the man, he had some success while at the club and did a good job (bar the last 6 months). There is no point reflecting on the past, surely you have to agree we need some fresh blood in to manage our club? Getting Worthy in would be a step backwards IMHO.
