Heard from a friend who is a Forest fan, that they are getting Steve Morison from us in January, fee has been agreed at 2 million. Anyone else heard this?

Why waste £1 million on Bunn just so Rudd can go out on-loan? He did ok as our number 2 last season. Why waste £2 million on Turner, so Ayala can go out on loan? Again one of our better defenders. Should of got rid of Ward. And why loan out Vaughan? So we can waste more money?It makes no sense at all, and for you to come out and say we dont have the money. Well you can see bloody why! This is £3 million pound of our transfer budget wasted, and could of gone towards a decent striker instead of the crap and rejects we have been linked with today!

Mr Brownstone, we were all told we had the biggest transfer budget in our history. That is old news. We have been crying out for a new forward to play alongside Holt. Someone who gets a chance will put it in the net! That player could of been Vaughan going by his pre-season form. But no we loan out out second best striker, when we have no-one lined up to replace him. Yesterday we bid for CMS who has been a flop at Brighton in the Championship. CMS has played a couple of seasons in the Championship and for 2 different clubs and both times he''s flopped. He can only score in League 1. Where is the sense in loaning out our second best Striker?? I can''t make sense of this at all. And to think that Hughton wanted to get CMS for 3 million quid. Thank god it was rejected! So we do have money but have been wasting it! Turner and Bunn to name just 2.

We have no money but we waste a million on Bunn when we already have a great back up keeper. What a waste of money! There are cheap strikers out there! Swansea (Michu)seem to be able to find them,so why can''t we???

We were bloody stupid to let Vaughan go out on loan, if we didn''t have a Striker lined up to replace him! He was our best striker in pre-season, so where''s the sense in loaning him out?

Starting to think we have the weakest squad in the league. It will take a miracle for us to survive. There is no way on earth we are going to do as well as last season. We must be odds on to be relegated. Very very disappointed we haven''t signed a new striker. It''s going to be a very long season I think.

Evening News story today at 7.06pm says we are still signing Biglia on loan.

Moussa Kanote. Scored 5 goals for Senegal during the Olympics. Would only cost around 2 million. Or Bendtner on loan.

I''m starting to get very jealous of other teams signing players like these?If Swansea can sign players like these, why can''t we? I really thought this is the type of quality player we would be signing this summer, with having our largest ever transfer budget. I just don''t understand why were still being skin flints!

Good post pete and your opinions are shared by many fans I''ve been speaking too. And not posters on here. After being told we''ve got the biggest transfer budget in our history, and then we spend less than a lot of Championship teams. Does the board really want us to stay in the Prem? I thought the idea was to increase the quality of the squad each year we survive? So many areas in the team need strengthening. Left back, Right back, Defensive midfielder and another Striker. If we''ve got the money bloody spend it!

If he''s good enough for the prem, he must be worth more than the 3 million Leeds are asking. Just pay them the god damn asking price, and stop playing silly buggers before some other club come in for him!

Shocking decision. Former Doncaster manager, who just took over as Crawley manager in May. The new owners have promised him 40 million to secure promotion with-in 3 years. I can''t imagine there''s many Forest fans happy with his appointment.
