3. Had his photo taken with the mascots on the pitch before the game, all suited and booted....
4. Yeah AJ the Beeb tend to keep their powder dry until they''ve checked their own sources, so maybe this is good to go??
5. Tell your source he is talking b""""""s, deal is done, just awaiting to get the busy schedule done. Martinez would like to keep him, but its one last pay day for Naismith and chance of playing more regular. Nearly went over the line in August, and this type of clause you are referring to is standard in most contracts now, so would have been a problem before and not pursued again..
6. Bethnal is tweeting this morning that we will pay whatever it takes to land N''Koulou..... According to French media. Now this would be a signing and make more sense with our African contingent in place.
7. I have an inkling who will be next... Mick Dennis.....

9. That''s as far as I got too.....
10. Totally understand all of the players tagged with the ''Legend'' word who attended the launch of Mick Dennis'' book last night, other than Paul McVeigh..... Anyone enlighten me as to what puts him in the same category as the like of Huckerby, Drury, Holt etc.?
11. No problem. It will be interesting to see how/if AN changes the team on Saturday, especially with Jarvis back and in scoring form, along with Brady and Redmond.... It does seem though AN''s tactical nous allied with the type of player he signs to fit the shapes and formations he wants to play will provide for an exciting season ahead.
12. Really???? I must be on the wrong board then.... I forgot though whenever you post a thread on here be prepared on most occasions for the first answer to be some form of veiled criticism... Will learn one day, anyway, just admitting that I have felt our passing to be a bit hit and miss from the back at times.
13. Interesting the author praises our build up from the back where as most of us, me included, see that as a weakness. But well written piece, thought it be good to share.... https://tacticiancolumn.wordpress.com/2015/09/26/west-hams-rebrand-project-cast-envious-glances-in-the-direction-of-alex-neil-and-norwich/
14. ''Drop'' seems to harsh a term, but I think we need to see sooner rather than later if Mbokani can be the player who can add that cutting edge to a team currently playing some fantastic football in midfield. No one can argue against the contribution of Jerome, as far as team play and shape goes, but ultimately he is and will be judged on goals, and I''m afraid chances like the one on Saturday in the first half need to be taken at this level. The reality is he may lack that bit of quality we need to score those all important goals in tight games that will make the difference to our season.
15.
I dont see anyone being anti-russell martin; top bloke, committed to the club, consistent performer, articulate and clearly destined to be a coach. What I do see is concern about his ability to defend at prem level without having matchly laspses in concentration or decision making that increase the possibility of conceeding a goal, at what feels like, beyond an acceptable level. Richie De Laet was jettisoned for fewer mistakes. Should he be in the squad, undoubtedly the club are better for him being here esp with his personal skills but also as good squad cover (as BJ would have provided); do we need better as a starting choice centre back? Againt the answer is yes. But it appears that mean I am no longer a norwich fan.
Fully in agreement Zipper. Great servant, seems a good bloke, happy for him that he scored yesterday, but, like most supporters I speak to, will need replacing sooner rather than later if we have aspirations to say competitive in this league. Granted, he''s not the only one, but his lack of pace and poor distribution will cost more goals than any other defender this season in my opinion. Maybe move to right back, although I would rather see us bring in 2 players to play on that right side of defence.
16. Number 9 give or take a week, Old Hall School is next Friday, 15th. But yes seems likely move is on the cards in the summer..
17. Just tweeted his kids are moving back to Carlisle having finished school here.... Now, we are no at the end of any school term and I was under the impression he bought a big old house in Hethersett, so can we conclude he is off in the summer if the family are back up North as he seems a real family man? I wonder if another striker swap is on the cards re Hooper? Seems though that Holt is on his way to me this summer....
18. There have been many comments attributed to him on here stating he could not play wide in a 442 because of tracking back, not going to dig up quotes or get into rows as Im not criticising others opinions. I dont see him as a winger either, coming in off the wing and linking like Silva does states that. City use Clichy for width.
19. I''d move Hoolahan to left, he can come inside and link up like Silva does for Citeh, and its a myth his workrate is too poor to play there. Howson for Tettey and Becchio up top next to Holt
20. Are you on a wind up Nick?   You have watched us for the past three years?   You think Martin should be in the squad when we have Holt Becchio Jackson Kamara and Hoolahan?   Sorry Im trying to think of one reason you would want him in there based on his performances here and at his loan spells. Maybe you can tell me....
21. Spoke to an ex work mate online today who now works in States and watches PL and American soccer. Likens Kamara to Lukaku, both in build and style of play, powerful, bit unganely but direct and pacey. Also seems to be a great team man, Pretty much what you can see from YouTube but good to hear from someone who has seen him play 3 times live. Could be fun!!!!!
22. I''d start him next to Holt, Clint Hill will play, must be worried playing against Holty and Samba will have to start, get at him early....
23. Our Arry lets Nelson and Ferdinand go and brings in an unfit Chris Samba...........
24. I was only after a yes or a no.....   Anyone else please?
25. Sorry just come on here after finishing work and cannot be bothered to trawl through 32 pages of posts, probably most of them arguing with each other and themselves. Thought it was a fair and reasoned question but, meh...
