I once read that while Arsenal were paying off the new stadium Wenger''s job wasn''t to win trophies but the board had tasked him with qualifying for the champions league and making a certain amount of profit on player sales each season to ensure the club had a certain amount of money coming in. If this is true then he''s done exactly the job asked of him. Arsenal fans in general don''t deserve a manager like Wenger let alone one that might have won the league.

I hope he doesn''t. Players that win POTS seem to have a habit of leaving us.

Can anyone tell me how Hall-Johnson is getting on? Only saw him play once against Monchengladbach about a year or so ago but he was the player that stood out for me, did his job well without being flashy, I thought he looked like one of the most likely to be able to go on ti have a good career from the little I saw if him.

Not that I''d advocate away fans sitting in home areas of course but there does seem to be plenty of tickets left in the home sections.

So how big should my tv be? I mean I''m living in New Zealand now and with the 32 inch in my new place I''m not sure I''ll even be able to see past row F of the Jarrold let alone the whole pitch. So what size do you guys think I''ll need to get a decent view of Saturday''s game?

Anyone remember the guy that used to get up on the wall between the Barclay and the Snakepit and do a swimming celebration everytime we scored? Always used to make laugh and everytime we scored which admittedly wasn''t very often back then I always looked over to that corner straight away to see if he was doing it. The last time I saw it must have been the 08/09 season as I never saw it from the League One season onwards so always wondered if perhaps he was one of the season ticket 2?

It could be so much worse. 7 years ago yesterday Roeder stuck Darel Russell and Matty Pattison up front against Reading. At least things aren''t that bad these days!

So having been out of the country for 6 months now I decided to get my football fix. It won''t be the same as being at CR but I got a ticket for Wellington Phoenix v Brisbane Roar on Saturday night. Had a look through both teams squads to see if there were any players I knew and noticed our infamously terrible ex-keeper is the no 1 for Brisbane. If Wellington don''t run up a cricket score in this one then I''ll know how bad the standard of the A League is. Also noticed in what seems to be an attempt to distance himself from his time with us he''s legally changed his name to Michael Theo.

I can see City having a good game with decent spells of pressure and will score, probably Howson but ultimately will concede a couple of sloppy goals to set pieces. Narrow 2-1 loss.

Let''s not forget the time he head butted Joey Barton & Barton got sent off for it!

The last time I remember the Aviva flags being given out was the 1st game of the League 1 campaign & we all know what happened there.

At some point in the next few seasons we''ll go up and at some point a few seasons after that we''ll come down again. That''s just the reality of the size club we are.

I''ll do my best but it''s not just the Kiwis that need educating. I''ve lost count of the number of times over the last few years I''ve heard ''Have a little scrummage'' sung at CR.

Went down to the Fox this afternoon and they confirmed they definitely will be showing it tonight via a stream.
