1. The mighty WWFC!(no not Wolves before i get battered!), Wycombe Wanderers nearest football team to my birthplace of Amersham who were a non league outfit when I used to watch them from my pram many moons ago! If I had to name a premiership side it would definateley have to be Arsenal for their style even though the side is virtually made up of foreign talent. mind you I''m quite partial to a bit of foreign talent before Master Fanny Magnet points this out!
 2. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11096_6325724,00.html Good on you Tom! Potential on the pitch and in the brains department.......
 3. Not sure whether to enter this debate or not?! First of all to the poster who claims I drive a Vectra, no way Jose would the TFM driver really drive these 4 fine specimens around in a Vauxhall?!.  Remember its all about image! Couple of other questions on the thread... Kathy - We never got your answer on your activeness? CA - What did the yes refer to?!?!  Good day had by all although no sign of any eastern delights for the boys to feast their eyes on although Morty & Tilly were resting theres most of the day! ;0)  PS. And especially for Tilly, "Remember the Sat Nav is always right!"
 4. Congratulations & celebrations the Chop''s!, wonder if he dribbles as well as Wes?!?!?
 5.

As people have said a good evening had by all!. Glad people enjoyed..... Not sure about Lappin it ups sweatband fashion statement though! ;0)
He still looked better then you and smudge!
Denial is not a good quality Ms Highland Lass, the sooner you admit to your true desires the better! ;0)
 6.

/Ward comfortable and how refreshing to see a centre back that actually wants to pass the ball/
These kind of comments amuse me. What did Elliott Ward do with the ball today that we wouldn''t have seen another centreback (say for example the Doc) do? This isn''t a knock at Elliott Ward because I''m pleased we''ve signed him but for the majority of the time (if not all the time) all he did was make routine sideways passes. Nothing more than that.
Because the Doc was not capable and just shows that lambert again has made the right decision releasing him.  For me Ward wants to play football and that is something we have missed a centre back for a number of years. Is summary Ward is different class to the Doc, capito?!?
 7.

Hopefully now some posters on here will stop panicking and get a grip. Anyone who slags super chris is a f***in idiot and anyone who thinks we will struggle is a d**k. Championship champions 10-11 otbc
First I was afraid, I was petrified Thought we''d never beat a pretty hard Newcastle side With Chris Martin on the pitch I think that Lambert got it wrong He''s a lazy little bleeder, he''s not even very strong - He can''t be arsed! No turn of pace! Just stands on the halfway line With a smug grin on his face! He''s not the player who will keep our dreams alive So he scored two goals today, big deal, Cody would have scored five Now Martin, Go! Walk out the door! Don''t turn around now You''re worse than Jon Otsemobor You''ve got the workrate of a tortoise with M.E. You''ll be bloody lucky if Luton sign you on a free... N.C.F.C. - we will survive With players full of work rate we can keep the dream alive They''ll run round and round and round And we''ll cheer them off the ground We will survive...
Chops superb!, can just hear it with a Norfolk twang!
 8.
(To the tune of - "Your are my sunshine") You are our Surman Our Andrew Surman You joined the City........ From Scummy Wolves We want to tell you......... How much we love you For wearrrrrrrrrring Yellow, not Gold Laaaaaaaa, la, la, la, la Laaaaaaaa, la, la, la, la La, la, la, la, la La, la, la, laaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Quality, love it!
 9. The best friendly game I have probably witnessed and was very dubious to attend due to watching so many poor pre-season affairs over the years. Impressive performance from the boys, a brief summary on the new players liked Fox (poor mans Paul Scholes!) who makes the side tick with his short pasing game/ Surman looks quality/Crofts good energy/Ward comfortable and how refreshing to see a centre back that actually wants to pass the ball/Ruddy competent & a presence /Jackon lively and works and I believe will score goals. The old boys, again all played well. Special mention for Wes who as we all know can be class oh and that lazy arse who bagged 2 was ok also ;0) I know today means nothing in many aspects but pleasing to see the ball played on the deck and definately something to build on...
 10. Just to let people know that the site seems to be up and running again!
 11. As people have said a good evening had by all!. Glad people enjoyed..... Not sure about Lappin it ups sweatband fashion statement though! ;0)
 12. IMO will be missed by us as I have said all along, really feel we will miss his physical presence in the engine room. If Crofts gets injured this potentially could be a problem position for us? Great signing on a free as echoed by others, I just hope his leaving has no impact on our season....
 13.
Apparantly he did turn up at Colney for the first day of Training on the 1st July. Quite why he was there is anyones guess. I hope we haven''t cut off our nose to spite our face here as I would stillhave him as part of our midfield.
Agreed...

 16.

You try and convince quality players to play in Division 1...He got us a competitive squad to challenge..He was over his head with him being a coach but give the guy a break he is still our legend. Jim Duffy P3 W0 D0 L3
Oops! ;0)     Permanent manager....

 18.
I disagree Nelson and Hughes were a success as well as Holt.
But a year later more than likely bit part players, from 10 signings a year ago to one being first choice just shows how bad a manager Gunn was....
 19. 1 Michael Theoklitos - Gone! 2 Matthew Gill - Left behind from training camp in Germany, more than likely out the door... 3 Michael Nelson - Played a big part last season but looks likely he may have to settle for being a squad player this time.... 4 Owain Tudur-Jones - Same as Gill.... 5 Goran Maric - Was he ever here?!?! 6 Simon Whaley - Is he still a professional!? 7 Jens Berthel Askou - No invite to Germany, not part of Lamberts plans?! 8 Rhoys Wiggins - Lost without trace..... 9 Stephen Hughes - Bit part player last season due to injuries (good player IMO), but will he be in the starting 11 this year? 10 - Grant Holt - Success, say no more!   So out of 10 players signed by Mr B Gunn it looks likely Grant Holt will be the only starter on the first day of this season and thats not to mention Bryans time as Head Scout!, thank god McNally/Bowkett/Lambert came to this club.......
 20. http://www.skybet.com/betting/football/npower-championship/t10005380.html?aff=1457 Leading Scorer Grant Holt 14/1 Chris Martin 33/1 Odds to win the Championship Norwich 14/1   Any takers?!?!? Fancy a few quid on Super Chris at 33/1 !
 21.

Not let go but hes left and in my eyes a big loss...
Gazza. You, more than most, have bemoaned the club in the past for not showing enough ambition. Yet you want us to keep a journeyman midfielder who can''t hit a straight pass and a 21 year old who has never fulfilled his potential. Korey Smith is how you do it.
and who spends several games a season suspended Russell had a good season last year.  But people have quickly forgotten he wasnt really that good at Championship level Key issue are the replacements better than the players we''ve lost.  Only time will tell
Russell was played out of position up front by Roeder or as an attacking midfielder, last season Lambert found his true position and learning from Lambert brought on his game leaps & bounds and all I am  saying I felt he would have produced again in the Npower for us-que sera! Totally agree with the only time will tell quote though.........

Korey Smith is how you do it.
Will we bring in better though Lapp or do you think we have better at the club already?, am hoping that Crofts is the man but if he isnt?!. Yes I have bemoaned the club for not showing enough ambition so lets hope that Crofts/whoever is capable enough to get us out of the division at the right end this time!
 23.
Also Russell wasn''t let go was he?  I was under the impression that Lambert offered him a contract and he simply didn''t sign it.
Not let go but hes left and in my eyes a big loss...
 24.
Lambert has been fantastic for us so far but it doesn''t mean he''s always right. So far IMO, his main strengths have been in organising and motivating the team, his transfers of players in and out have been somewhat less impressive.
Totally agree with that, in my eyes he is superb but everybody makes errors. It just makes me laugh how people one min are saying Spillanes superb and how they dont want Russell to leave and the next min they are saying good riddance?!, twin that with the fact that Crofts/Fox are better players than Russell although Russell has played at a higher level for most of his career!? I sincerely hope that Crofts is that ball winner required and can cut the mustard in the Championship but if he doesn''t we could have problems in that department....
