  1. wish i could get there [:(] best of luck to tamworth but the way our season is going you wont need much of it
  2. alot refer to him as a failure in the prem, mainly due to him being tied down to the bench at west brom and my understanding is there was some problem with the manager there whatever he was called, ive forgot. but even so, i think we have to worry about one of the championship clubs who are pushing for promotion bidding for him, i doubt we would get what pompey were offering, and that wasn''t enough for the board to accept. time will tell
  3. depends on what we''re talking about, skill or effort, if its for effort you cant fault hughes, skill... you definetly can
  4. the window is 5 days old, give grant a chance to negotiate, he said himself hes close to signing two i think was, new players. and besides so far the clubs who are interested havent been able to offer the ''price''. i think he will stay unless he asks to leave for whatever reason, but in the summer we should probably worry if results havent picked up by then.
  5. sound like a good idea, unless we lose :S
  6. well we saw what he can do at stoke when they trounced us, might mean that hucks can partner earnie with chadwick and croft out wide, see what hucks ca do running directly at defenders. could work if not its better cover than mcveigh
  7. its a possibility, he cant exactly turn around and say hes unhappy with the amount available. but as you said time will tell
  8. i doubt grant is just sitting about drinking tea from a china cup. i''m guessing he will be doing his upmost to sign  new players and talk to managers and unfortunatly we just need some patience. besides this is his first window. we will just have to wait and see... and hope we dont get obliterated by tamworth
  9. twas only a few weeks ago he was saying he would say no to big money offers....
  10. quadrupled, give the guy a chance to get his own team in change things about get some support from the players. look on the brightside, ferguson was suppose to be just a naff scottish manager... though that might be being a little over-optermistic
  11. consistently rubbish more like it....the word useless has alot going for it aswell
  12. quite a few of the teams around us drew or lost. gd results all round and by the looks of the minute by minute on the BBC we were the more dominant team
  13. maybe its not a case of the best eleven, but a case of which eleven play best as an eleven. which is worrying in itself
