1. A positive move for all the local take-away outlets...........oh and his wallet.
 2. Yes, fair play to them they did make a good turn out. I hate that MOT song they sing and I was so chuffed when we managed to silence them at the end. They are down IMO. Blake and Kandol up front are not going to get them enough goals to win the points they need. Oh what a shame........
 3.

Sorry did not realise that blinkered enthusiasm without considering reality was prequisite for replying to your illustrious thread.  So you disagree with my points then?  I am glad that the fact he ''sounds'' like the player we are missing has satisfied you, I apologise for needing evidence more concrete than that. I even just read on this forum that he ''sounds like Koumas but better'' (or something equally dumb).  If he was as good as Koumas, then clubs would have been in for him!  Koumas is a sought after player, ''Fozzy'' was wanted by nobody other than Norwich, much the same as Robinson. There is certainly not an idiot shortage around here at the minute.
Best and most down to earth/realistic post I have read in weeks JC.... I haven''t seen anybody openly slagging off the new signings yet... all some of us are asking is that if they are so good then why did we appear to be the only club really interested in them??? I also pointed out as have one or two others that the midfield was not a priority area for strengthening...  We are crying out for a quality striker and a couple of defenders... Why is it that the dumb brigade on here have to go on the offensive just because a few of us are reserving our judgement on these two new signings???
Didnt I read somewhere that you dont even go to games anymore? so I would like to think that regardless of how they perform you wont be passing judgement on them at all, I mean you cant comment on something you''ve never seen. That is unless you will just trust the opinion of others when they come on here. We were the only club interested in him ?? Im sure that a little team called Rangers were after him and the only reason he didnt sign for them was because they couldnt guarantee him 1st team football straightaway. Have you not considered that PG used his contacts to get in there and offer him this contract before any other team had a chance to do anything about it, PG seems to know an awful lot about loads of players and its almost like everywhere he''s been he''s made notes of certain players in anticipation that when he becomes a manager himself he will go after these players. Im not posting stuff about these players being the next big thing or the saviour of our season, just trying to put a positive spin on things as we''ve had months of gloom and doom. It has to change sometime.....or wouldnt you like that ?
 4.
There is certainly not an idiot shortage around here at the minute.
You got that right.
 5.
And if he turns out to be a damp squib??  Please, please temper this boundless enthusiasm until he has played!!!!  Mulryne was apparently the midfielder we needed, but never really was.  If this guy is better, then why does nobody else want him, why was he released from other clubs, and why has he played so few games in the past three years.
I was thinking of starting a thread, more or less just like this! Fozzy certainly does seem to sound like the midfielder we''ve been missing, and could work well with hucks while he is upfront. And Lappin will hopefully supply the crosses for Brown to get his head on. I should think both new boys will be playing, im looking forward to it, and i think the crowd will be up for it aswell. We all know we have to push in the same direction (well most of us do anyway).

I knew my post was going to be too positive for at least one person.
 6. About Mark Fortheringham: "He is different from the midfield players we have got. He wants to get on the ball, he wants to create in the opposition half. He is not the quickest, but he has very good feet." “He is one of these guys who can do it left or right, he''s comfortable. He will try and see a pass, he won''t be frightened to give the ball away with trying the proper pass - he will have a go for it." FINALLY we might just have a midfielder who can take a game by the scruff and run the show for us. For 2 seasons now we''ve had Safri,Etuhu,Robinson,Hughes and none of them have shown a consistent interest in attacking, they all tend to leave it up to eachother and then it never gets done. With Safri holding and breaking up play and Etuhu with box to box runs and bringing the wide men into play that leaves Fozzy with the license to roam in the final third and hopefully try them passes that unlock defences.....Its typical that Earnie has been waiting all season for that type of player to open a defence up with 1 pass so he can run on and score, oh well hopefully he ''ll get a chance next season. Im well up for tomorrow, all the fans and the team pushing in the right direction can only help us and Im hoping the team will play well and with a good high tempo and we can really make some noise and drown out Dirty Leeds !!!!! Apologies if this post is a bit too positive for this time of the morning, I''ve got red bull :)
 7. We aint on TV, even if we make it that far. Its a 3pm KO. TV games already chosen.
 8.      Marshall Spillane  Doc Shack/DD  Hughes Croft  Fozz  Saf   Lappin     Brown   Hucks Etuhu needs a break from the team, he hasnt been playing too well lately, alot of it was due to carrying an injury so maybe a few games off (like saf did) might do him some good, plus it allows Saf to sit and hold and Fozz to show us what he can do going forward.  That team is assuming shackell or DD will be fit, I assume so if not I cant believe PG hasnt held onto Robbo for a bit longer.  Zipper - MLJ is not actually a real player, he is some sort of scam invented by the board. For what reason, i havent worked that out yet.
 9. One F''in Fleming, theres only one F''in Fleming. Thanks for the good times and wish him all the very best.
 10. Read on? Nah thanks Wiz, Once you''ve seen one of your posts.....You''ve seen them all.
 11.
I went along to vent my spleen at Delia and the board at the final whistle tonight... I stood outside of the main entrance and shouted Smith Out and Sack the board!!! Not one person stopped to either join in or disagree with me...  In my opinion it is this apathy amongst the paying public that Delia & Co rely upon to keep them where they are (driving this club in to the ground)... 99% of our fans deserve relegation...everything I saw tonight made me feel sick... it is a very sad state of affairs... Does anybody at this club have any fight left in them??? There are large numbers of people who say that they want changes on the board to happen... so lets see some action then guys!!!  [:@]`
99% of us deserve relegation?  Wow you know how to win friends and influence people. Let me guess, the 1% who dont deserve it, is you. Muppet.
 12.
It doesn''t say that
Well yeah it kinda does.  It says the replay will be on Tuesday 27th (subject to TV selection). Doesnt say anything about subject to TV selection for the 3pm KO on the 17th.

 14. Yesterday you said and I quote : "In fact, I predict, that we will sign NO ONE before the transfer window slams shut." Now it appears we might be signing some players, you amend it slightly so that it fits into another of your endless rants to "As I said in December:  No new signings of any quality will come." Would you prefer signings or no signings?  BTW have you ever seen Mark Fotheringham or Simon Lappin play? My guess would be no, so why are you assuming they will be crap because previous signing ( by another manager) have been?  Just be upbeat like the rest of us, that we might just have a few new players by the weekend, regardless of reputation. Slagging players off before they join or play for us is just foolish and may well land some egg on your face, if  infact they turn out to be rather damn good.
 15. Anyone else fearing a Black Country backlash tonight? Keogh is making his debut, Kightly is back from being Cup-tied (he totally OWNED drury at their place). I feel like I have to go as I''ve paid for my season ticket and I''ll give the lads all the support I can but I just have a really bad feeling about it. On a plus point, will be good to see the new keeper and see how he does, especially if they get 2 free kicks 25 yards out. Fotheringham to be unveiled to the CR faithful aswell before KO ? We live in hope.
 16. Heres my choice:         MarshallColin  Doc Spillane  DruryRobbo Saf   Etuhu   Croft      Hucks  ThorneWould I be right in saying thorne and mcveigh have 1 goal between them all season (and that being from thorne in the carling cup)? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont play them two up front Grant. Id even settle for Eagle on the left as long as you keep hucks up front.
 17.
Have you not considered that PG is loaning out these players for other reasons then to get them off our wage bill (Peter Thorne excluded). He is doing what NW failed to do in the last 3 years, loan out kids to get them experience so we can have them back and with some first team experience to boot. Have you considered Martin, that we can hardly field a team tomorrow?. I''d rather have the loan players back so WE can play them.......not other teams. But as I said, we''re all but broke, I just wish the club would come clean about it. The truth I can deal with!.
Ok, I accept that we dont have a decent team to field tomorrow but when we loaned out fleming, everyone was happy. Infact they gutted it wasn''t a permenant deal. When we loaned out Hendo/Jarvis/Halliday/Cave-Brown/Fisk we didnt have all the injuries and suspensions that mainly occured as a result of saturdays game, in hindsight he may have kept a couple of them back but he doesnt have that ability to see into the future. I would even bet that if we hadn''t got all these injuries and suspensions on saturday and we had got this far in the transfer window and PG hadn''t loaned any of the kids out, people would be jumping on his back saying ''why aren''t we loaning these kids out for experience, like all the other teams in the league do''.
 18.
I offer no apologies for bringing this back...........everyone needs reminding!. We''re now loaning out players left, right, and centre to save wages, the club is tying to get rid of ''sick note'' for the same reasons and today Grant has said no one new will be brought in before the Wolves game. Of course they won''t, because we''re all but broke!. In fact, I predict, that we will sign NO ONE before the transfer window slams shut. Please tell me that you didn''t actually believe Grant did you?.
Have you not considered that PG is loaning out these players for other reasons then to get them off our wage bill (Peter Thorne excluded). He is doing what NW failed to do in the last 3 years, loan out kids to get them experience so we can have them back and with some first team experience to boot. He has also noticed the dead wood that was purchased by NW and is trying to do something about shipping them out, but lets be honest Nigel bought us some real s*** and PG is hardly going to have clubs banging the door down for these lame excuses for footballers. You predict we will sigh NO-ONE, ok lets hold you to that. Oh wait, we''ll sign someone but then you''ll still say they''re not a big name so that doesnt count as a signing. It must be real boring being right all the time.
 19. Northern Ireland international Tony Capaldi is a target for Canaries boss Peter Grant The left-sided 25-year-old, who can play either in defence or midfield, is out of contract with Plymouth in the summer and has yet to sign a new deal at Home Park. Sunderland are also keen to sign the player but reports on Wearside suggest that Norwich have made a bigger offer to prise him away during the transfer window.
 20.

Errrrr today is the 26th Jan 2007 isn''t it? For a minute there I thought my time machine had worked and I was back to the 1st October 2006. Or have you just been typing that response since October 1st ?
Quick lads, make yourself scarce, the self-appointed internet post police are here! [:P]
What a great job that would be. I''d need a cool badge to go in my wallet though. Well thats my afternoon sorted!!

 22. Just to add to the rumour mill, I have seen this morning that we are going to sign James Hayter and Julian Gray. This could be them.....who knows. At least if thorne goes, it shows PG has identified the deadwood and is finding some suckers to take them off our wage bill.
