1.
if its that much of a problem cant they play some of the games in the Rugby stadiums?
Safety I would imagine. I worked at the First National Bamk stadium when SA played Congo for a world cup qualifier in 1997 I think it was. It was terrifying. Crowds were controlled with miles of razor wire, as kick off approached they rushed the gates and a wall collapsed allowing them free entry into one side of the ground. Although SA won 1-0 the crowd were extremely hostile. They may (though knowing the country quite well I doubt it) have improved things since, but it will not be to the standard needed to control the fans, nor keep them safe. Its an extremely violent country, the transport system is such that fans will mix, get lost, never arrive..... The locals are going to have a field day.I''m going to pass on that one - grass or no grass.
 2. Before you criticise Safri I think you need to have seen the events leading up to the sending off over the previous 20 minutes. It definately deserved a red IMO, but it was all a bit handbags ........ I''d have taken the blokes head off.....and so would most of you
 3.
Did Delia give an answer to the fan?
Yeah she said watch these M***** F****** go.......Hardly the point of the thread was it?
 4. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/africa/7239653.stmSouth Africa is going to be a disaster if we''re lucky, a bloodbath if we''re notFIFA, The FA, The Premiere League. All as bad as each other
 5.
Yep, I''m sure Capello found this very funny when one of his mafia henchmen reported it to him. In any case, what makes old haystack head think he''s even number 6 ? Good to see he didn''t save a penalty, it''s reassuring when normal service is resumed.
Ditto
 6. What makes you think the board is not actively seeking investment. I''d really love you to answer that. The truth is you dont have clue what the board do day to day. You conveniently forget that two board members announced they would happily sell their shares....... not one taker. Nobody. Not a single person came in with a bid in spite of the offer being published in the national press.Dreaming is one thing ........ being realistic and not spouting lies and making up utter rubbish is, I''m afraid, where you need to get your heads. We''ve no automatic ''right'' to finding a wealthy benefactor. The Turners were brought on board by the board with an initial investment (term used loosely) of two million pounds. Two million. I''d say thats a fairly healthy toe in the water. None of you would sink money in without evaluating the concept.I''ve had ebough of this.Cheerio
 7. I''m so sick of this. The kid celebrates an amazing goal and gets books. With all the things wrong with the game when are they going to get real and stop trying spoil entertainment.Sit down. Dont look at the oppo fans when you''re singing, no alcohol with sight of the pitch, cant celebrate a 35 yard winning goal.FFS.Well done City. Each win seems more incredible than the last......... Long may it last
 8.
yea yea, heard it all before, sorry mate i am green and yellow through and through,
Yeah course you are...... it shines though your posts.......Miserable negative comments that make it clear Carrow Road will be a happeir place if you never go back.Stay away
 9.
All the fund needs is Support !!!!!!!!!!
No, the fund needs money. You''re being as overtly defensive as the people you consider to be ''attacking'' your idea and wanting it to fail. Nobody wants it to fail.... but this is passing the bucket yet again. Lets say you raise £250k for a new player over the next 5 years. Will the fund pay his wages? Or are the club expected to take an ''extra'' player on just to apease the donators. If he''s not an ''extra'' player, then the club would have bought him anyway. Seriously, how are you going to feel when after 10 years you raise £500k and the club buys Andy Hughes Mk 2  ??I hope you have a legal and an accountant on board because you''re going to need to register this as some form of charity I would imagine to escape tax liability.....whats the score there?
 10.
Thanks for the vote of confidence, I tell you what I will have a £500 bet with you that the Kitty raises a minimum of a six figure sum (in pounds not pence) in its first year and when I win I will give it to the fund. You up for that?
No. See what I mean? Even a sure fire bet like that and I''m still reluctant to part with £500, so what chance have you got of getting fans to give up hard earned for the club to buy another Murray? You might get lucky and get some business to right off some tax money, but then they''d likely have done it anyway..... if not to your fund to something more worthwhile. If I''m going to give money I''d rather it go to Unicef......
 11.
why oh why do we continue to waste money on loans.
Terrible loan that Evans.....
 12.
You just know that the colour scheme and the words "Norwich City" are variables, and at the press of a button it can change it all round to read "Bristol Rovers", "Macclesfield"...
Really?.... Do you think......?LOL
 13.

or get someone with some cash.
Yes, but who, you deaf eared lot!  It''s not for the want of trying to find them as I understand it, and are you prepared to wait for those with billions in paper money (the Turners and Cullums) to raise real cash whilst they wait for the credit crunch to go soggy!  Do you really want to get rid of Delia just for the sake of it and get someone else to stand in whilst we wait - a la Wednesday - for someone else to come in and spend for us - go whistle cos it ain''t going to happen.  Christ I''m blowing a gasket here!  [:@]  You can only do the best you can with what you''ve got.  Get behind the board and use more sublte persuasion on them to back Roeder - vitriol will only drive them away eventually and make them an impotent force in the meantime!  The worst thing that could happen is the Ipsh*te scenario.
Wasting your breath shefcanary. Spoilt little kids demanding cash injections ...... asking ''who?'' is just an insignificant detail. The lack of grace shown towards the people who work the hardest to keep the club competitive is undignified and unjust. When they move on they''ll get slaughtered for what they weren''t able to do instead of what they acheived. Whats Ricky Knight put into the club? Been down there to burn the midnight oil lately Ricky? Invited the local businessmen to fund raising event round your house eh? No, we expect ''the board'' to do the boring day to day slog of actually keeping the club afloat,If they stepped down tomorrow we''d die on our arses waiting for some bored fella with a few billion £ to walk through the door.I''m very proud of this club and the way it conducts its business. Its on the pitch over the last 15 years is where you should be pointing your fingers. Boring football played by over paid journeymen. Nothing is quick fix, Nobody demonstrated when Grant was appointed. We all hoped he''s do as well as Coppell or Mowbray or Hughes or dare I say Bowen - widely accepted as the best coach in the country. Nobody knew. He was respected by others in the game and had an obvious passion. None of us knew any more than the board that he''d be a disaster....... or that Roeder would turn it around.... not the best record as many of you pointed out when he was announced. This board (the fact you''re all so obsessed with Delia is a bit freaky) are doing a great job. Things go in cycles..... chances are the next lot will be the disaster that you think we''re experiencing now. You''ll deserve it to.
 14. The likely outcome of the kitty is that it will die a death with a few hundred quid in the bank. Does that get returned to donaters............ or handed to a charity maybe....?
 15.
Maggie Thatcher was the bomb
Gay icon
 16. Mods should delete this thread......... dont even joke about it
 17.
Surely David James is not as bad as Titus Bramble, is anybody? As you say, Green was the main reason why West Ham stayed up, not Tevez.
Bumble is one of the worst players I''ve ever seen - at any level.Tevez kept you up pal.....Though him and the other fella turning up did as much to disrupt your season as they did to save it...... al la Faustino Asprilla at Newcastle I personally like West Ham, but don''t push it.
 18.
Bond''s cloggers?? What like.. Martin Peters, Phil Boyer, Ted MacDougall, Tony Powell, Dave Jones, Jimmy Neighbour, Colin Suggett, Colin Sullivan, Kevin Reeves................................................................. Are you for real FFS!
SuperMac & Suggs were over rated.  Powell  Sullivan were absolutely cloggers, Reeves was a ''hot prospect'' who came to nothing, Boyer was lightweight (though a great tryer). Jimmy Neighbour was good value and Peters was pure genius, I was privileged to be at Stamford Bridge that amazing day…. I''ll stand by cloggers. I stopped going for a couple of years because the football was so dire. What was commendable compared to subsequent years was work rate. He made his teams work, that I cant fault, but an abundance of youth and flair was never present. Dare I mention Drazan Muzinic or whatever his name was? Yeah - I''m for real - long memory and long suffering. Bet not many of you have done a 300 mile round trip on a Honda SS50 to see us lose 0-1 at home to Bristol Rovers....theres an idea for a threadLOL
 19. Pro''s dont like playing against lower league teams. They always have a point to prove and it ends up being none to pleasant all to often. Non League pitches struggle as it is so fixtures would most likely default to some turnip field somewhere. As for bumping up crowds, teams fans close to Norwich can see the our second string anytime - those further afield couldn''t give a stuff. At Luton on Tuesday there were maybe 50 people watching. Mind you, what a dump that is.....dont blame them.
 20.
i think that greeno is the best english keeper about and he has became a better keeper since he has been at west ham.
Then England are in big trouble.....
 21.
No offence we8wba but you as an outsider can see that the board are making mugs of us,so surely all NCFC fans can see as well? Im not holding my breath.........
Well perhaps you''d like to clarify why you think you''re being turned over? Lots of finger pointing on here but no specific allegations. We are a PLC so I''m sure Inland Revenue. HMC&E and the police would be very pleased to hear from you. The restaurant makes money, commercial sales are amongst the best in our league, wages are down by well over £1m......Thanks Helveg et al.I wonder if Roeder would have come had we still been running up the mud hill on Mousehold with backpacks full of bricks. We have facilities second to none in this league and better than many in the Prem and sell tickets at carefully marketed prices that keep the fans coming back. Carra is an affordable, very pleasant ground to come to - hence to the total disbelief of other clubs, even when bottom of the league we sell out.  Thats down to the board. Fans are fans, we''re no more loyal or passionate than any other bunch of fans. The team is down to successive managers spunking the clubs money on less than average journeymen (which most of you seemed desperate to again panic buy this January - you dont learn). Again and again the board have come forward with transfer funds and the wages capital to support those signed contracts. 2006/7 gate receipts were  £7.7m out of a total turnover of £24m. Only £2.4m of that was player profit. Yes of course I''m aware of creative accounting, but as a PLC its impossible to hide money. You can pull money from one year into another, but ultimately it is accountable. Quite where they find the money astounds me.Lets have some specifics fall off the bandwagon as it ignorantly rolls along shall we? I''ll do my best to get specific answers to specific questions. Cant say fairer than that.
 22.
I defy anybody to tell me Worthington wasn''t a good choice.
I will. It was the most boring football (I wont even include Hamilton - era erased) I can remember. Bond''s cloggers and Saunders muscle bound warriers at least turned in a fair days work in days of leaner wages. Worthington showed absolutely no flair - a typical defender becoming a manager. He got results to a degree, but I dont want a 300 mile round trip to see a result  - I can get that on the internet.  I want to pay to be entertained - a greaqt performance IS a result. GR shows signs that every now and then that entertainment is coming back...... and the results follow.
 23.
David James is the best shot stopping in English football currently, and unrivaled by a mile. He''s equally excellent at organising the defenders ahead of him and holds a presence with his frame and structure (ask any Portsmouth fan which keeper they''d prefer to see playing for them). I saw David James at Yeovil in a pre-season friendly and he was solid and constantly screaming instructions out to his defence even when Portsmouth were on attack.
Spot on. His weaknesses are crosses and occasionally kickingGreen is weak on long range shots, terrible organisation and crosses....... I wont go into the blunders at Forest, Gillingham amongst others and the groin injury for England......or the flappy day he had at Reading for Shammers.....tempted.....but I wont.... :o)He also isolates himself from the squad and isn''t that well liked by other players.... not that that shouldn''t affect international selection. My criticism of him is well documented. Personally I dont get him at all, to get £3m for him was a steal IMO. Marshall & Gilks are in a different league to Green & Gally. though Paul had two amazing games for us (QPR home and ?) but couldn''t maintain consistancyCapello has only been in the job 6 weeks - he cant assess everyone in that time. Green will be on his radar, have no doubt. I for one wont be cheering if he''s selected......I''d go for Joe Hart
 24.
More money, that families have to fork out, because Jonny round the corner has got it.
Nobody has to fork out anything. Say no. Does ''em good.Horrible kit though I applaud the switch to red and white, never understood the Navy and white..... anyone know why it was our first kit for so long?
 25.
I''ve just been watching the highlights from the reserve game on Canaries World.......
I went to that game. They were really excellent, best performance I''ve seen from our reserves for a long time and apart from Gilks all kids too......
