1. How about a quote from Steve Coppell ''We don''t want to sell Andy Hughes''. Or do you want to ignore his views as you don''t agree with them?
 2.

On paper this is by far the best team in the division! Green Colin Doherty  Shackel  Drury McVeigh  Safri  Robinson  Huckerby Ashton McKenzie so why cant we perform to our best?
How about  Hahnemann , Murty ,Shorey ,Sonko ,Ingimarsson , Little  ,Sidwell ,Harper ,Convey  , Kitson , Doyle Subs Hunt Lita Oster Stack Gunnarson
So now our whole needs replacing, congratulations the most negative you''ve ever been.
 3. I haven''t expressed any personal opinion abut any players as I don''t want to look foolish when I have to change my mind (like you did with Andy Hughes). The specific site for WO''s has a pitifull number of registered users, I avoid the WOTB site as its like a kindergarden.
 4. Another WO bias towards events, Neilsen left because his wife had been offered a job and after Jackson left we had the central defensive pairing that got us promoted, that we do know.
 5. Paul, it must be very frustrating, almost every day you''re posting suggestions of players that we should buy and what does Nigel do? He ignores every single one, how dare he? You have vast knowledge of football in all leagues, a wide ranging scouting network (I think they''re know as you''re two best friends) and the experience of negotiating deals with players and thier agents why are you not consulted? Don''t worry I have solution for you, get together with the other WO''s on this board and buy a few (I reckon the six of you could stretch to 6) EuroMillions tickets, win £80 million and buy the club.
 6. Jas, when presented with the truth (i.e. as I''ve posted before I am not Dicky) an intelligent person would recognise it, this is a lesson you must learn. Having read your hilarious post re what might have been and Norwich dominating Europe I understand that you''re not getting the team you want. I believe that we are capable of the play-offs and therefore capable of promotion.
 7.
it mind sound rather cock-eyed but i''d sooner we bought no one if we sold Deano.... as Gazza says the 7 million can go a long way to paying off the clubs debts... Wiping almost half of what we owe out in 1 swoop.. meaning we will be one of the richest clubs in the league and might then be able to channel even more assets into the playing squad next season....  have to agree about the Europe years... i fully believe that if Chase had backed Walker and made the cash available then MW would still be manager today and we would be the best team in England.. and possibly a respected and feared European side... we''d be able to put 1 in the eye of chelski by proving that having billions doesnt necessarily equate to success.... the fulham game was a debacle... we went out there with the mindset of "oh we''re going down".. when we could easily of beaten Fulham, they arent much cop... we were better than them on the day... looking back at the higlight of that game we didnt tackle, we didnt pass, we just ran around.... Whilst Worthington sat there.... at 4-0 down we decided to throw everyone forward for a come back of middlesboro proportions only to end up looking even more embaressed/...  A manager with a bit of nous would of got us fired up for that game! we''d of had fyulham pinned back and shot from everywhere in the hope of scoring... we didnt.       Worthington is the reason we are where we are.... a poor manager with little grasp on the simple side of football.... He wasnt a bad player, but as a manager he just cant cut it! jas :)
Do you really ''fully believe'' the paragraph about Europe, are you on medication? Also congratulations on turning a lighthearted post into another WO rant.
 8. I feel that this is a very average post full of bland statements. If you know who is going to be in play-offs in the middle of January don''t waste your time here get down the bookies and make some money. No I don''t think Burley will get Southampton promoted, Rupert Lowe is why and if we had got him and he''d made the start at Norwich that he''s made at Southampton I''m sure the WO''s would soon turn into BO''s. The board has given the manager money to spend. If you''re not happy with the latest result then go down the pub and moan to your mates, this type of diatribe shouldn''t be available for the rest of the us reasonable people.
 9. http://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/content/sport/story.aspx?brand=ENOnline&category=Sport&tBrand=ENOnline&tCategory=sport&itemid=NOED13%20Jan%202006%2011%3A24%3A00%3A447 I think you''ll find its all explained in the above link.
 10.
A clear majority of City fans want the manager gone , you Squit are plain deluded.
Two statements and no facts. Here''s one for you, the WO website has 88 registered users. Who are the deluded ones?
 11.
http://yourchoices.org.uk/index.htm See above for Worthy Out campaign bumper stickers and posters. You really think there is a lack of numbers for getting rid of NW, you are sadly mistaken there is more discontent than in favour. We shall prevail gone by end of season.
Let me see, Stephen Nobbs has only just seen one of your stickers, your website has had 2800ish hits and I''m the one who''s mistaken? Please base your next post on this subject on some relevant facts, i.e. not just me & my mates want him to go.
 12.
Don''t know how long these WO stickers have been around, but I was quite pleased to see them. They looked professionally produced and even included a web address for further info.  I wonder if they''ll catch on and become widespread in their use. I was grudgingly backing Worthy until the Preston match, but I''m afraid I''m beginning to agree with those who have said he has taken us as far as he can, and we''ll never be an established Premiership club while he''s still in charge. Every dog has his day. Sorry Nigel, it''s time to move on to a new "project".
Its indicative of the lack of numbers in this ''campaign'' given that these have been available for about a month and its the first one you''ve seen.
 13.
Lucky Green Trainers - rossi had a hard city debut at right back, but if worthy plays him there again sat rather than favoured posi, and he has a bad game, then naturally it could affect him.  if colins injured, will worthy risk playing him at right back again? Please correct me if I''m wrong, but wasn''t Rossi a defender who was played in midfield ''out of position'' in pre-season due to injuries? Following a decent performance, or two, he has also played there in the league, but remains, first and foremost, a defender. Perhaps one of the regular youth/reserve watchers could clear this up for me. I''m sure Worthy was slated for forcing a young academy player to play midfield when he should have been in defence - it appears he is now slated for returning him to his natural position!
Interesting spot FB, perhaps Lucky Green Trainers can tell us as he seems to be the expert.
 14.

I see the WO''s are sticking together, think about it, his comment is as fraudulent as the much criticised callers to Canary Call who don''t go to the game. If he had the courage to admit his mistake I would applaud him. I don''t know who Dicky is, if you think I''m him then you don''t listen to the truth and treat it so.
Fraudulent - you my friend, are an idiot!! You are happy to commment on away games that you have not been too, I am happy to use fellow NCFC fans opinions whom do not write to this board. Anyway i am not a WO, I am a ''if we dont make the play offs or he continues to sign crap'' he should leave.  And in the meantime lets hope he doesnt wreck the squad further by signing more crappers.
Paul, once again you are missing (or don''t want to answer) the point, your comment on Spillane was misleading, if it was someone elses opinion then you should say so, you didn''t . I have never commented on away games, I am not your friend and I am not an idiot (three more misleading comments, do you know when to stop?). I have never doubted your credentials as a City supporter. I think you should take more care in future when expressing opinions that are not based on personal experience.

 16.
the players we are bringing in - it wouldnt surprise me...
Or your two best friends, Paul you''ve been busted, how many other opinions have you given us that you have no personal experience of?
 17.

Must look at the article but it cerainly feels like worthy makes it hard work for the youngsters to come through. Having said that, while he has been quite ruthless with them, those he has let go have not gone on to set the world alight by any means as branston points out so there''s some vindication there. He has kept the likes of henderson and lewis and signed up the jarvis brothers but i would definitely like to see them given a better chance than they have had so far and with the opportunities that have arisen in the current injury crisis it baffles me that he doesn''t give the young''uns more of a chance to take these opportunities.
I tell you one thing there was more fight and enthusiasm in young Spillane at the weekend than I have seen from certain new signings in 10 matches.  I fear we would have done no worse with him in the side rather than the impact said new signing has had. It is a real shame we dont have a decent right midfielder in the youth setup, if we did however he would probably be played up front.
Paul, On the NCFC V West Ham thread you said you were glad you didn''t go (at 4.30), so how could you judge the ''fight and enthusiasm'' of young Spillane?
although i did not go 2 of my best friends whom are city fans did. To be honest squit having seen the calibre of players brought in this season I cannot beleive they were scouted beforehand. god only knows whose opinions were listedned to to make these signings.
Maybe NW got his two best friends to scout the players.

 19.
A1, there is nothing wrong with the Keep The Faith tag. It''s an honourable title and one should not consider oneself pigeon-holed as result of flying a point of view under that flag. Further, if one is neutral on Nigel Worthington, there is nothing wrong with adopting that position either. What gets up the nose a little is when such people as Squit wants to adopt a "Reasonable" tag when they have clearly slated others as non-supporters for honestly stating their beliefs as to why Nigel Worthington is not the manager to take us forward to years of participation in the Premiership. That''s why the thought that started this thread is tripe, and any "reasonable" or neutral person would see it for what it is.
Another example of the WO''s putting words in my mouth, I have never ''slated others as non-supporters for stating thier beliefs''. All I have done is point out where they''ve taken quotes out on context, used statistics out of context, identified that there really is only a hardcore of 5 or 6 WO''s on this board and highlighted where they''ve reported opinion as if it were fact, I have always conducted my posts with fairness and a good deal of humour. I consider that to be reasonable.
 20. I believe A1canary in his Ramblings post has identified a third group, if you''re not a WO or a KTF join the LR''s, I for one feel proud to be an LR.
 21. I consider myself to be reasonable. In the past I''ve pointed out the shortcommings of these people (quotes out of context, statistics produced without any context and opinion expressed as fact seem to be the favourites) but I''m fast comming to the conclusion that it doesn''t matter what you say to them they are so blinkered that reason and fact go completely over thier heads. I expect you''ll get replies from the usual five or six with a list of what they perceive to be the view of the majority.
 22. Congratulations, you''ve all demonstrated that you know nothing about the Long Ball Game, its what Watford played under Graham Taylor and what Wimbledon played for years. Norwich have never and do not play like that.
 23. Paul, you cannot put forward some statistics without putting them in context, thats blinkered. Kenny, I''m a season ticket holder, the incidents you describe (drop kicks etc) to me look like Robert Green trying to start a quick attack, he also uses the tactic trying to get Huckerby away quickly (NW criticised Green for not taking his time earlier in the season). Goal kicks are naturally going to be long and in the air, therefore aimed towards our striker. The long ball game is players playing every ball into the opponents last third, Norwich do not do that.
