1.
What would averyone say to a board meet up on the last home game of the year? We could put all our differences to one side for one day of the year and all meet up as one group of people who all support our club. It would be like Christmas day in the somme. Except the football would be worse. What do you think?
You should all be at the protest.
 2.
okay guys point taken.  i''ll stay down in the bar watching it on tv until 3.10 i''m disatisfied and nobody appears to be listening, so i''m going to register my protest - then hopefully sit back and watch a good game in peace and quiet.  ''shape up or ship out'' -  pot, kettle, black, brass, neck.
The only people who are going to notice your ''protest'' are the poor buggers you get in the way of getting to your seat after the game has kicked off. Is it you ambition to spend your life doing pointless things?
 3.

USACanary, I am sure you are right (and I''m certainly not one of them), but you are basing this post on the demographic make up of this board which is hardly representative.
I only went away on holiday, now I''m MIA, another stupid conspiricy.
the chaotic one went on holiday did he?  not long enough to re-emerge as ''hoofball merchant'' though.
What are you on about?

 5. ECC, its time you added your name to this thread.   KTF! OTBC!
 6.
He basically admitted he has been ordering the long ball (as I have said many times beelsie)....  I couldnt quite beleive it Its makes a mockery of his remarks about how the players are told to pass it...  When we got it down and passed it we played United off the park. This even more makes me think with somebody else in charge we could be doing far better than we are at the moment.  We are seriously underacheiving.  Worthington is a total hoofball merchant.
Oh dear Paul, NW was taking the mick out of Roy (and probably you) with that comment, you see he has this thing called ''a sense of humour'', you should try it.
 7.
where in this thread have i said we hope we lose Squit???? i know my eyes arent great hence the glasses/lenses but, forgive me, i cant see "i hope we lose" anywhere at all..   jas :)
Its OK I can read between the lines of your thread, "a few hammerings could see him go sooner" means ''I hope we get hammered so that he''ll go sooner''. If you look into the deepest parts of your soul you''ll see I''m right.
 8.

As you are so keen to laugh and poke fun at the worthy out brigade and other protestors, I challenge you to organise a demo in support of Nigel Worthington this Saturday. Lets see how easy you find it to do, you are so convinced you''re right, well lets see a leap of your faith. Using your logic, I shall expect no less than 23.000 to turn up. Go on, I double dare you.
This where you are the other WO''s just look stupid, why organise a demo to keep things as they are.I can just see it now, "What do we want?", "Things to stay as they are!", "When do we want it?", "Now and for the forseeable future thank you!". The board (and/or the manager) will decide when its right for the manager to go, I''ll KTF until then thanks.
How about a chant of Worthy''s yellow green army.....
Lol Paul.. we havent heard that since sheffield Wednesday at Home... which according to the Fixture list was on october 29th of last year.... We dont chant worthingtons Green and Yellow Army because we dotn support him... we support the players.. and its not a "minority" who dont sing it either...  I fully expect to hear Dicky, Squit, Mad Danielle, Chicken and all the other Worthy inners to be singing that this afternoon... giving their full support to the man! and if we lose and theres an after game protest then i fully expect them to be telling us we are "wrong" not waking past with their heads down.. or shuffling into the Carrow road rain... jas :)
Jas, it must be depressing being you, first of all theres your hope that we lose and you''re also predicting rain. I''ve never walked past one of your demos with my head down, I like to have a good laugh at the miniscule numbers (like the 8 protesters after the Stoke game).
funny how u didnt laugh at the turnout before that game wasnt it???? is it depressing being me??? no... why?? because im prepared to stand up and be counted rather than be a meek little man like you who hides behind some internet Alias where he can safely abuse and be little people because he has no balls in reality... jas :)
OOOOOOOOOOOH! Get her! Seriously Jas the Barclay King (is that an internet alias?), you need to calm down, if the dwindling campaign is getting you this uptight think what will happen when it completely collapses.
 9.
Loads of memories.. the boro game last season, for the surreality (is that a word??) of it all....  Man utd at home last season where we made their team of million pound mega stars look ordinary, disorganised and confused....  Iwans farewell at Carrow Road.. followed by watching Crewe in the beam back at Carrow Road and going absolutely mental along with a good 1000 others when Iwan Scored his last 2 goals... my pint went flying over some poor woman! lol! the civic reception. Seeing us win 3 games out of 3 at Portman Road... Europe.. say no more....  But my most memorable and favourite moment is the 1992 FA cup 1/4 final replay vs Southampton.... a match that had everything.. rubbish pitch, 2 red cards, goal mouth scrambles, injuries, Saves galore by Walton and Tim Flowers, 2 clearences off the line (one by a certain Mr Shearer) and an extra time Winner.... i was just 10 years old back then (almost 11) and my dad had explained about 7 or 8 times during the game how penalties worked etc.. we both agreed if it got that far we''d lose as Tim Flowers wasnt bad at stopping from the spot... I''ll never forget when Sutton scored.... thats the loudest roar i have ever heard at Carrow Road... even during the promotion run or last season.. i dont think i have ever heard a cheer louder than that....  Super Chris even Ran over to infront of me in the family enclosure too.... happy days :) jas :)
Jas, I would''ve thought that your best game would''ve been one where we got hammered and the manager you didn''t like got the sack.
 10.
Worthington will be in charge next season... so.. we will continue to protest and watch the slow decline of the club under Worthless... i personally feel that a start to the season similar to the start we had this year will see him get the chop... 10 games max!  but theres still alot of games to go yet and a few hammerings could see him go sooner. jas :)
There you go again Jas, hoping we lose, cheer up!

 12.
it seems there is little they can do - its a case of waiting and seeing how the results and performances pan out. delia and michael could have chosen to unite the club in one fell swoop by dispensing with worthy''s service, could you have imagined  a pro-worthy demo outside carra rd in response ?  no, neither can i. she has chosen a riskier course,  not a gamble in her eyes, by sticking with worthy and riding out the protests - probably in the hope that performances and results would improve.  for me, she is riding on her good reputation now with the fans - in effect asking them to have faith in her judgment and in worthy in spite of the considerable opposition.  we are all having to trust in what is probably her gut instincts, becuase the performances on the pitch this season have merited the managers sacking/resignation, if so inclined. her statement in support of worthy caused the campaigners to back down, because a fan versus fan debate at each match is unpleasant at its least and violent at its worst - and if you care about NCFC,  risking its possible implosion in these circumstances is not worth it, yet.
"delia and michael could have chosen to unite the club in one fell swoop by dispensing with worthy''s service" So you are saying give in to a pressure group who have no proof that they are in the majority, thats a dangerous precedent, the next about 500-1000 supporters don''t like something they''ll expect the same.   "for me, she is riding on her good reputation now with the fans - in effect asking them to have faith in her judgment and in worthy in spite of the considerable opposition. " What exactly is considerable? You can''t justify this claim, its fraudulent. The campaign backed down because they were scared that the numbers would be down on the first protest and it would look bad, they''ve said so on thier own site.
 13. "Hopefully coming in; Right Back Left Back Centre Back Right Mid Left Mid Centre Mid Striker"   I like the idea of buying players who have the same name as thier position, I take it ''Striker'' is one of those Brazillians with only one name.
 14. They''ve allowed the club to pat them on the head and say ''down boy, sit!'', the next thing is to roll on thier backs and let the club rub thier tummies!
 15. "He has listened to you and totally ignored you." Probably because its the right thing to do.
 16.

squit/Dicky the reason the protests are on hold for the time being is if u try and ram home a point too much it will lose its meaning annd become laboured...   45 minutes doenst change anything... we could of beaten Leeds 10-0 or lost 10-0 and we''d still be putting them on hold at this point.... Lets see how the players and Worthy respond now we have nothing to play for... will they give up on the season or keep fighting for every win? jas :)
Nice try Jas but I''ve read whats being said on the site and theres several posts saying that they not protesting because they don''t want fewer numbers, there was also one telling the posters to be careful what they said as the board read the site. It seems that the WO campaign has split into two factions, the ones who want to protest and the ones who don''t want to. It looks like the protest after the game has been suggested as a compromise. If the Leeds result (and performance?) was of no consequence why wasn''t the announcement made before the game?
dear old squit, you look to be whipping yourself up into a negative spiral.  there''s no chaos or confusion - there''s no official protest any longer. pure and simple people have reverted back to the unofficial protest stage, where if they feel compelled to voice their opinions, as is their right, they can choose to do so in various ways, including protesting outside the ground after matches. this type of protest will always be spontaneous and numbers will vary according to the performance on the pitch.  if city beat sheffield on saturday, then it''s possible there could even be a spontaneous demo of pro-worthy support inlcuding the likes of your good self!
LGT, this quote is taken from the WO site; "If the team misfire on all cyclinders against Sheff Utd, then the pressure again will pile on the manager, coaches and then we will have to bang harder on the door of the board & shareholders to wake them up." This one is from one of the organisers. Only protesting after misfiring performances is opportunism. The after match protest was only suggested after they were complaints that no protest would take place before the match, thats hardly spontaneous.
the focus of the protest is the removal of worthy and this relies alone on match results and performances, so without the benefit of a continued official organised protest, any protests that occur will be in response to the match played that day.  if the focus was the removal of a chairman, e.g. chase and his finances, then i agree its more likely that the protests would be sustained and occur before matches. therefore, although you may call it opportunism, it could also be termed reality.   people have few options to voice their discontent, other to
Organising a protest after a 4-0 defeat then not organising one after a 2-2 draw because you''re afraid the numbers will be down and it will look bad for your campaign is being opportunistic.

 18. "Reading his stale statement on here today, the board have taken bug*** all notice of the meetings recently with supporters groups". They''ve been taking no notice of you since day one and a fine job they''ve been making of it. Your claim that you care more than I do is up there with the bring back Walker posts for its hilarity.

 20.
And then theres the idiots like you Squit who want him to stay , otherwise known as the no football knowledge brigade.
In previous posts you''ve agreed with the first wizard, I''m glad you think I''m an idiot.

 22. "I get tired of saying this but here I go again. I was referring to politeness between posters, and not posters and management!." This is just another example of your hypocricy.
 23.

The difference being, Kenny, that ALL of the protesters made their point in a good-humoured and peaceful manner - as underlined by the police - in contrast to some KTF''s, who were aggressive and abusive.  Incidentally, how do you know that the protesters are ''a minority''. As Squit would say on this Board, can you back up that statement with FACT? Has there been an official poll or survey? You cannot say that the WO''s are a minority for the same reason that I can''t call the KTF''s a minority.
I wouldn''t need to have a degree in mathematics or run a poll to work out that around 500 people is clearly a minority of a crowd of around 24,000. I''m not talking about people who may want to see Nigel Worthington removed in the near future, I''m talking about the people who went on the protest ''march''. By the way, aren''t you being aggressive and abusive to the manager?
Foggo: Can you explain ''logisticly'' how you can manage to gather 24.000 people at the same time and in one place like Carrow Road for a demo?. Keeping in mind rural traffic condititions, transport, timing, parking and space. No, thought not!. Once again flawed and sneaky KTF thinking.
This little Norwich can''t get 24,000 people together for a demo thinking shouldn''t be tolerated.
 24.
Dear Mr 1st Wizard  Was it you or am i imagining it, did you not say only a few weeks ago i quote " lets be polite to each other" stop the name calling i.e. Worthless etc etc, now 2 weeks later its back to "useless fool of a manager" this is just another one of your ill thought out post looking for a reaction yes we are still wobbling but you have got to say it was an improvment Come on wiz don''t be so grumpy things could be worse you could be an Ipswitch fan? T.Y.
TY, unfortunately he won''t see the point you''re trying to make and he''ll complain that you''ve made a personal attack on him.
