1.
To ask an obvious question - if he''s any good why are Preston letting him come to us?
Give him a chance he has not played for us yet. You can say that about any player that is on a transfer/loan list from any league in football why are they trying to get rid of the player. Chris
 2.
Something got under your skin? You have now changed the question completely - firstly it was if Worthy goes, now it is relegation. I will give any Norwich manager my full support - clear enough for y...
Nothing has got under my skin you have come out and said you would support Worthy in all that he does even to the point of relegation which I appreciate. Listening to the reports on the Radio about the Wolves game it won''t be long when we all be facing that dilemma about our position and the prospect of relegation. The Question is who is to blame. The Man who is responsible for the team or the man who is responsible for training? Iam sorry there is only one man to blame and that is Mr Worthington because if it were the players he could drop them or transfer them or bring in new players. That is why I would like to see a new man at the helm with new ideas because hopefully he would also change the Training at Colney. I have like a lot of people the greatest respect for Mr Worthington but I am afraid the longer he stays we will lose that respect. That is the nature of the beast......When things are not going well get rid of the man at the helm, after all it happens in all walks of life. Chris
 3.
Dicky: Having returned for active service at the Millwall game, and shelling out money from my meagre income for it (we don''t all have people work for us!) the chance of me shelling out again for th...
I totally agree with you Wiz. I wonder out of all the current Season Ticket Holders if any would ask for their money back? We have the Trade Descriptions Act I wonder what will happen if this was applied to football....On a match by match basis (Value for money so to speak) I was listening the other week on Radio 5 about a Danish or Swedish team I cannot remember, anyway they reimbursed their fans the cost of the tickets and in some cases the travelling expenses for the diabolical perfomance on the pitch. Still we are not the only ones in the Division Milwall are calling for their Boards heads. The board at City should be lucky in this respect as most of the fans just want a change in Manager.....I wonder how long this will last. Already the Manager and the board have said " We need time to turn things around and we have a good squad of players". Time is what we have not got and as for the players, if we have such a good squad why are we in the positon we are. Chris
 4.
Relegated i am very suprised you dare even mention the word its a bit silly is it not. as if that is going to happen for gods sake after what worthy has done for us over the last few years. You must ha...
Never Say Never!!!! I just want Dicky to answer a straight Question....Methinks he has fallen strangely silent. I''ll put it to you then if you are a Worthy supporter the same question. Tell me when we were in the Premiership did you honestly say relegation was a taboo subject.....Don''t get me wrong I don''t want to see us relegated anymore than the next person but to all the Worthington supprters out there it is a very simple Question........ Suddenly it fell silent.  Chris
 5.
Eh - it was a straight answer - surely "of course we would still post" is fairly straightforward. I just happened to point our your unintended error in your post.
Dicky thanks for pointing out my error But you have still not answered my Question. The Question is:  If we do get relegated would you still support the Manager? A straight YES or NO......None of the usual Ducking and Diving answers please.   Before you ask if Worthy does manage to turn things around and we finish in 10th Position or above I will be the first person to apologise to you and eat humble pie. I feel a bit like Jeremy Paxton interviewing Micheal Howard on TV a couple of years back.....I forget the question asked but Paxton repeated the question at least 12 times in 5 minutes in the same interview and still did not get a straight answer. The incident has gone down in Television History. I wonder are you going to evade the question? After all reading a lot of posts by you and other people when people ask direct straightforward questions to you you don''t give them straightforward answers.....Hence my remark comparing you to a Politician. So come out of the closet and answer the question!!!!! Come on I dare you.
 6.
Of course we would still post (Worthy inners), but hopefully it won''t happen as Worthy turns things around.
Come on Dicky you should be a politician. You can''t give a straight answer. A straight and honest Question to you Dicky.  If we do get relegated would you still support the Manager? A straight YES or NO......None of the usual Ducking and Diving answers please.   Before you ask if Worthy does manage to turn things around and we finish in 10th Position or above I will be the first person to apologise to you and eat humble pie.    Chris
 7.
Surely you''re logic is a bit strange there Chris. Why would us Worthy outers not give the new guy a chance? Did you mean how many of the posters who want Worthy to stay would still post here?
Sorry DD The Worthy in Posters is what I meant to say......At my age you can  get it wrong. The old grey cells and all that!!!!! Now Eagle eyed Dicky on the other hand if we get a new manager and the New boy makes some mistakes. One can just imagine how he would react......Some thing like this "See I told you so Nigel Worthington would''nt have done that". Chris
 8. If Worthy is sacked/Resigns how many of the worthy out brigade will still post here? Will they give the new manager a chance or be waiting for his first Mistake so they can say "well if we''d kept Worthy!" etc?   Chris
 9. Hucks being a class Football Player, any opposition knows how he is going to play his game. I mean have you ever noticed instead of taking the ball down too level with the 6 yard box before crossing it in. He will 99% of the time always cut inside virtually level with the 18 yard box. The opposition knows this and are waiting to close him down before he gets to the penalty area because a player of his speed to stop him  a defender is liable to give away a penalty should he miss time his tackle when in the penalty area.  He should really alter his style of playing and keep them guessing at the moment he is not doing that and they can read him like a book. Chris
 10. Congratulations to the Team for the win at last. I was pleased to see Worthy getting off the bench and directing proceedings from the touchline instead of standing there with arms folded and not saying a thing. But.....We still cannot score our OWN Goals still never mind we will take the 3Pts. Congratulations again. Chris
 11. What do you mean not using real name!!!! Below is a partial Quote from what Worthington said last night at the AGM. He was, to be fair only addressing rumours concerning players and their personal lives, but he did go on a bit about people on the internet not having the guts to use their real names etc, etc. I have never made any Degrading remarks about players or thier Wives or for that matter any Supporters of other Clubs from any Division in the Football League be it Professional or Non Professional. This includes International and Domestic Leagues around the World. I never used an alias THIS IS MY REAL NAME.                        So Therefore All Football Forums Of any kind should not have the Facility for the user to have an alias. Is that what Wortington is Implying? I myself, like a lot of supporters, see what is going on on the football field during Match days and tell it like it is. We will see tonight against Cardiff......I do hope we will win. Shareholders meetings are for the boardroom and shareholders but in reality they are nothing to do with what goes on on the field of play. I wonder what would happen to the shares in Norwich City Football Club if they were allowed by individuals to be traded on the Stockmarket. I wonder how many shareholders would hang onto their share''s then?... a £25 share on the Stock Market, would it still be worth £25 now given our decline and freefall to our current perilous position? Chris
 12. I am sorry to say this......welcome to league 1. We are approaching the half way stage in the season and the January Transfer Window is just around the corner. Delia and the Board should wake up to reality and stop this old pals act. At the end of the day we will lose more money by being relegated than by paying Worthington off. How will we pay for the New stand? I hear the board want to have a hotel? The most important fact is the players will want to stay in a lower Division....I don''t think so. The players that are most likely to go and who could blame the are Robert Green because of his England career and he is a class GK, Dean Ashton because he is a good striker but he is not getting the service and wants to further his career. Darren Huckerby because he wants to see out his career at the top or near the top. Garry Docherty an Irish International need I say more. Yousseff Safri another Morrocan International who I might add has already been courted by Feyenoord for £1.5 million and lastly Rossi Jarvis working so hard to break into 1st Team has the prospect of playing in a lower Division (he could have gone earlier to a Division 1 Team to start his career and who knows could already be playing for any Team in the Coca-cola League, that is barring Norwich City). To name but a few. P.S.  If we get relegated and we have still got Worthington and Norwich offers him a New Contract I think he would say "you are joking are''nt you". Contrary to what he has been saying in the Media about sticking together he will leave a sinking ship. Chris

I looked over the plants o...
i know some of the people who attended, my son did and hes 24 one of his mates was 30, there was one chap we know whos in his 40''s and my sons mate Martin also showed up and hes 22...  Of the others standing around they were at least 30...  Lets not forget the people who chanted worthy out within Carrow Road were considerably more, plus those who joined in the chants outside the ground who couldnt stay with us... we will be there Tuesday night, give us a nod and a smile if you want i hasten to add our numbers will steadily grow.... as for "lets back the club" we have been, we have backed the club to the dizzy heights of 20th place! arent we fantastic!? Wake up to Reality Norfolk Dan! still, im looking forward to the Cardiff match, it should be a nice Rugby result for Cardiff after their recent stuffing of Crewe 6-1 and yesterdays impresive draw with league Leaders Sheff United   any clues as to the results???? or will worthy be "happy with the effort his players have shown today"?
 14. support the players.... chant at half time and at the end of the game....   jas
 15. seeing Thorne on the wing just about summed up Worthy for me he doesnt know what he is doing and all his fans must surely recognise this now. And they call Bobby Robson Doddery!
 16.
Just got back. Not happy. Ratings: Green 2 Brennan 0 Ginge 6 Flemm 6 Colin 2 Hucks 2 Charlie &nbs
Cheer up Mate......but don''t go blaming the players for the loss. They are only doing what the Manager asks of them. You being a Manager should know this. Remember it was he who said "I don''t care what the fans think Iam in charge" so he should take responsibility and gracefully step down. Chris
 17.
So Chris, how would you avoid playing players out of position in midfield for instance, when Hughes, Marney and Safri are all out? Worthington Out Burley IN it would be nice. or Ian Holloway. Any Manager who does not suffer fools gladly.....Someone in the mould of the Bill Shankly, Brian Clough and George Graham to name but three.  Chris
 18.
So Chris, how would you avoid playing players out of position in midfield for instance, when Hughes, Marney and Safri are all out? With players out of position, a change of formation to try and play t...
Are Mssrs Hughes, Marney and Safri Indispensible to the Team? Bear in mind Hughes played against Luton, he wasnt injured. So worthy in his eternal Wisdom plays a left back alongside Hughes rather than a midfielder who he conveniantly leaves on the Bench - Jason Jarrett.  Ok, Jarrett hasnt made the best of starts to his Canary Career but he is a central midfielder, and he must be pretty fed up playing second fiddle to an ageing left back who has been thrown in the deep end. Also, Jarrett must be fuming to see Charlton getting skinned every week out of position when Jarrett himself could perhaps have coped with the situation himself in his natural position.  What is your opinion of letting in 4 goals in 37 minutes (i correct my error in an earlier post), with these players out of position? Also, what is your opinion of Worthington not bothering to make any form of change until the game has been won by Luton? as for Steve Bruce and David Moyes, they are both managing in the premiership, and Dario Gradi has been at crewe for over 20 years, something Nigel Worthington WONT Acheive. Its also worth noting that teams like Everton, Crewe and Birmingham do attack for the full game. Everton arent having the rub of the green this season, but Birmingham are doing ok and this is because their managers can motivate and get them to attack... and before you start lets remember Steve Bruce was a Defender, just like Worthington, the only difference is that Brucey knows that to win games you have to play for the full 90.. not 5 minutes here and 10 minutes there.  Also, all 3 managers arent afraid to criticise their team and not try and cover up their own misgivings or make excuses for poor play... Remember it was David Moyes who substituted Gravesen when he first became manager of the Toffees then had a go at him on the touch line, he also criticises both himself and his players when need be on TV.. As does Bruce and Super Dario. Not like Worthy who "cant fault his players for their efforts today" completely failing to see their capitulation against a team who are enjoying early season form (Luton), and will be in the relegation fight, along with Norwich, This season once the bubble bursts. Chris
 19. Green, Colin, the Doc, Davenport, Brennan, Huckerby, McVeigh, Ashton, Hughes, Henderson   Yeh really our "reserves" mate! Charlie was the only non regular in the team!!!!!
 20.
Really don''t understand your comments. Persuade him what a loyal supporter I am? Explain.
Dicky don,t be so naive you know what he means. Still you will be saying.....(If we get relegated God forbid). "I can''t fault my etc etc etc.  Sounds familiar. Sorry Dicky I must not Insult your God Chris
 21.
With so many pointsleft he can hardly say anythuing else can he? Anything is possible - but 96 points would make us champions most seasons so not that many will be needed to get an auto spot - high 8...
And even that is pushing it Now if we had a new Manager. Please   Chris
 22. One Question Mr Worthington would you like to see Norwich City promoted or relegated? If relegation features in your plans leave things as they are. If you want to finish in the play offs or dare I say it the two automatic promotion slots change the formation, stop playing players out of position, get some new coaching staff, and teach the Players  to play for 90 minutes and have the commitment and verve of actually wanting to play football, and look nearer to home. The Academy!!!! I went to the home reserve game on Wednesday night against Leicester City and it was a joy to watch especially the commitment shown by the players.......The First Team should sit up and take note. The Luton fiasco was Absolutely Rubbish There is no excuse for the 4 goals in; what was it 26 Minutes. No wonder we are the laughing stock of the Division. With the remarks of Mr Ian Holloway on LBC Radio and I bet he is not the only one who is laughing at us. So all in all I think it is time for you to go Mr Worthington. Chris
 23. I hate to say this but can''t City get it through thier heads. A match is 90 minutes in length not just 5 minutes from the end. The Millwall result was a fair one. Worthy was not at fault for this match...It was the 11 players on the field. To be fair to Worthy he had to play players out of position because of injuries. My only regret is not seeing Louis-John come on. But it really does show how Norwich City hav''nt a very strong squad or should I say a versatile one. Having said that. It is down to the coaching staff. That is why at the end of the day we still need a new Manager and Coaching staff with new ideas.
 24.
no qualms about the result - but yet another second half no show - we never sounded uncomfrotable, but better sides would have provided a bigger threat, credit where credit''s due tho, excellent 1st ha...
I agree with you Tom. A great result. First half excellent we kept up the pressure. Second half we let them come back into the game somewhat. We have got to learn to play for 90 minutes solid. Chris
