1. S.E. slim chance but lets hope so! (beware, dont let First Wiz see you looking forward to next season in the championship...he''ll cast a spell on you and he''ll be up to 15k post in a flash - the saddo)
2. 1. my "footy" granddad faining injury so i had to attend wem-ber-lee with my stepdad who was about as "footy" as the queen mum! When we scored he got the humpy as everyone jumping around knocked the sunday papers he was reading. So embarrased...will never forgive him...well, not until he bought me a car 5 years later! 2. seeing a bell-end driving a sinclair c5 as we walked to wemberlee....(thats true! not a stuart maconnie style "nostagia" story) 3. louie donowa dancing badly! 4. being the proudest kids in south east london wearing the ncfc flag as a cape the next day at school.     aaarrrrr
3. I used to like having my hair fiddled with (oh er misses) as a kid so used to go first in the nit nurse queue and then run around to the back of the Q for another go. I also like girls with Belfast accents and the smell of marzipan, but thats another story entirely.
4. first wiz - you are a complete twot...you ran away from me on another page and started rant on here...we are not 1/66 with a few bookies for nothing. We WILL get promoted and just because you are obviously a man who doesnt wash on a sunday/doesnt walk under ladders/has lucky pants/and countless other stupersticious bumpf, plus do you really think that me/you/or any other fan getting exited posting on here will have any bearing on how are team do? "Leeds fans did it and they started losing games"? Leeds started losing games because they didnt play as well as they did when they were winning them at the start of the season, pretty simple. I bet the Lambo theory/logic of "not even thinking about the score, and just concentrating on our game" totally blew you away! I bet you though the players all swapped shin pads at HT for good luck and thats why we played better in the 2nd half. Get back in the 50''s you silly man....you''re worse than my Nan! 14k+ posts!? get a life man!
5. First Wizard yes I do think we are promoted, can you see us slipping into relegation form? Do you think what ever I or any other fan (even you?) says online has absolutely any bearing on what happens to our dear football club. You may be a Wizard but dont think for once you can play God?
6. i wouldnt worry about so''ton...they wont make up 15 points in 11 games...no way. it would mean they''d have to pretty much win every game and one of the teams placed 3rd-7th would have to have relegation form. Before tonight they had a very slim chance, but they''ve blown it now. kept on reading in the press how so''ton were the best team in the league...funny how we are 21 points ahead of them even if you discount their 10pts deduction? bizzare journalism from hacks again!
7. "hampionship"? - love not having spellcheck!
8. Good to see Newcastle & West Brom are starting to pull away in the Championship as well as Forest blowing a fuse or too as it means the parachute payments they would have been due get divided between the next seasons hampionship teams...which could be handy...if we can use it on the squad that is.
9. I got 14/1 either just before or after lambo came...£20...ithankyou Mr Bill Hill!
10. BLIMEY! GET A LIFE FELLA''S! My old theory of giggly girl-shy nerds making up the bulk of forums is looking like its true. (hence why I’m not so active)…all you jokers with 4k+ posts really need to find something else in your life as well as NCFC.
11. same here. My Dad took me in the 70''s. Barclay end, my hand in his left, Club/Courage crate in the right for me to stand on walking along the Wensum. One of my first memories.
12.
This is like being in Norfolk....... Alot of Londoners!!
ZT - you don’t get out much do you? have you been to London, ever? Strange how most of our biggest away attendances are in the capital isnt it? Plenty of unofficial capital canaries pal. back to the Q. 3 generations of fore fathers alls yella''s as am I (born in Norwich), but I cant see the same happening with my 4 year old? Born in Greenwich surrounded by Millwall, Charlton and the obligatory Arsenal/Man U, Chelski...but not worry I’ll do my best to bribe him somehow! His first game was last summers friendly at Dartford. I told him "they''re not all like this son"! Ironically our new league game was Col who, so wasn’t far off was it!?
13.
Rustys equaliser against Gillingham, perfect weather, great support and"ur just a town full of pikeys" ........my son and i still laugh about that even today.Closely followed by Holts equaliser against Charlton and Chris Martins winner against Brentford. To me these are the best so far this season.A Grant Holt hatrick against Leeds would top that lot by a country mile tho.
"ur just a town full of pikeys" ha ahem...that was me. i thanks you...along with "the wheels on your house go round and round, round and...." and a few old greats. was a great day out that one.
14. i like it...the yellow looks more like the old school canary yellow we had in the 80''s rather than the new golden/yellow of recent years. saying that I like my Boyer/Neighbour retro number.
15. WIGGINS is back from the cherries, surely PL has got to give him a go in the league. i actually though he did ok in the JPT and what i have seen of Rose hasn’t filled me with glee! Funny how our "mini-blip" has coincided with a crocked Drury (Lappin isn’t as "free" without AD and it definitely showed last night).
16. results are going well for us of late...is it too early to say its a two horse race? if so i would mind 1st or 2nd spot although £20 to win the league at 14/1 back in August means i''m lying and "I''ve love it if we beat them".
17. Plume of feathers? we are playing Millwall, not Charlton fella...and the Plume is not really a Pre football pub is it? unless you fancy a quick game of crib with the locals that is?
18. oh! and one last thing...there arent any good pubs around south bermondsey, so I''d stick around L.bridge and the best pub without a doubt is the woolpack @ 98 Bermondsey st. see ya there fellas. OTBC!
19. now that i live 120 miles away from cara rd and 7 miles away from the south london ''erberts; millwall away is a no brainer, win lose or draw i was never gonna miss this (even trying to get to B&HA next week, which on valentines weekend is a very brave move in my house)...and no, i cant see us winning this either, but it dunny matter do ut! i can see Leeds losing more games in the home straight than we will and thats what matters!
20. Does anybody actually know anything about our new signing Mr Rose from Stockport? (and yes i have wikipedia and google too)...is he any good? King Lambert definately likes spending his limited funds on team on the brink of collapse! (i wonder if pompey have anyone we could use?)
21. are you watching Leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeds? yeaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
22. Useless fact of the day...Lambert has never lost a weekend game for us in the league! LEEDS (Mon), BRENTFORD (Mon), MK DONS (Tues)... so not doing well at Ht against Wallsall on a Tuesday then? Bring on H-pool on saturday...you cant win ''em all?!
23. hi jammis, well that could be just fantastic! i''m a chislehurst-based canary and often get stuck...i''m not going on sat for the Exeter game...but i am going to Colchester the week after...are you making that game? OTBC!
