  1. I think Anglia are doing another derby video for the club. I saw the links being recorded this morning.
  2. At last, No problems, sky are showing the Sheff utd game so they will be stopping all regions showing any football, whilst they are showing a game.
  3. Sky will be filming it as will Anglia, but Sky will not show it live or give Anglia permission to show it the same day. Anglia wanted another highlights program later in the day as they did with the away game, but could not get the permission. The Game is been linked to portman rd, which could well be the reason for sky''s reluctants to let it be show on tv
  4. This seems a very odd question from a life long City fan, but bear with me. Does anyone know the odds bookies are offering on City NOT getting promoted this season. The reason for this is, whilst i am not a great gambler, everytime i have ever put money on City winning, they have lost. So as i would willing chuck money away to see them get promoted and i need to do something to calm me down, i thought i would place a bet, but are bookies offering odds
  5. Totally agree, if WBA are good enough to be promoted, then we must be championship material. I thought the Ref was the worst i have seen home and away this season, but i was glad he missed Flemings handball in the first half, otherwise i fear we would be without his services for a game.
  6. We may have some material now on video, as we made the centinary video some years back. If this is any use please give me a shout and i will see what i can find.
  7. It seems only 1500 will make the trip, snow permitting, but at least we will make ourselves heard.
  8. I think fleming is playing outstanding this year. As much as i love the spirt with which Malky plays, Fleming is the organiser at the back and without him we would be lost.
  9. This is worry Wiz, but i agree with you. Maybe we could give Wigan Easton aswell
  10. Well Golden Goal seller Norwich got 7mins 41 secs of yesterdays 23min prog Ipswich got 2.18 hope you now believe me. Should have equal amounts next week as City are on Sky, so the whole match will be recorded and ipswich are at home.
  11. Just thought i would post a message to gauge peoples reaction, What did you think of Francis performance on Saturday. When he first joined us i was impressed with him, then his game went off the boil, but against Sheff utd i thought he played really well. He followed this up in with a poor performance against Wimbledon, an average performance against Coventry and against West Ham i thought he did not look interested. This brings me on to a more worrying point. When Francis is playing badly, why does NW not give Mulryne a chance. Is there a reason why Mulryne has fell out of favour with NW or is he carrying an injury. If Francis has no competition for his place why does he need to try. It was reported in a couple of papers at the weekend that we are interested in the midfielder Jon Harley (at west ham on loan from fulham). Is this because NW knows Mulryne''s days here are numbered. Would the fans be happy if Mulryne went
  12. Is it just me or is anyone else worried that West Ham''s game plan is to hurt Huckerby early on.
  13. Wiz last seasons review was region 2, Happened to call in to the Carrow Rd shop today and they had all region 2 dvd''s. As for the copyright law issue i would assume (dont know this for fact) you can record it, but would be in trouble if you sold it or gave public viewings.
  14. Wiz, I will check the region thing out, i recieved a complimentry copy of the season review, but shamefully have not watched it yet.
  15. Wizard if you want more proof, this Sundays Soccer Sunday will be directed by Sandra Tull. How would i know this, if it is not me or Sandra that does it
  16. Wizard if you have a copy of last weeks program you will see the director has an irish first name, as i was born in Ireland of Irish/english parents, but feel free to ask any more questions about the prog. If Tacklebury is online, he can confirm who i am, we both work for Anglia.
  17. My only worry is that they might take Huckerby out again
  18. Wizard forgot to say Sky do have the rights, but the deal involving us filming allows all itv companies to use the material. You will notice that the BBC records Anglia and plays out our pics. If Sky cover a game live they bring in there own cameras and supply us with a feed.
  19. 1st Wizard W.B.A., Wigan and Palace game where all last minute additions due to the fact that we started 4 mins light, due to not being able to get an interview with the Colchester manager. Sky do not have cameras at ever game they pay local companies like Anglia to film it. You would have noticed that sky,s saturday nights coverage was just the two goals. As for cutting the 3 mins down would you have been interested in seeing the teams run out and the incident that led to the Coventry corner, leading to our first goal. Even if anglia does not want to transmit the material we are always keen to get as much of City''s games as possible as we make there seaon review videos. As for KP he is a city fan, Stuart Jarrold (sport) and a girl that works for our west news are the only scummer fans, trust me we do point them out to people.
  20. 1st Wizard, I know for fact that the amount of coverage that soccer sunday puts out depends on what other companies send us. Anglia will only send there cameras to our local grounds. On Saturday Central only sent us 3 minutes of highlights for the city game as they have a number of games to play out to the network in a 15 minute slot, whilst we had a feed of the whole scummers game. Hence they got 8 mins of yesterdays prog and City 2.15 mins. Just to cheer you up, i thought i would let you know that i directed yesterdays program in a Huckerbys back t-shirt. Now you know what i do, be assured City will always have a fair amount of air time if the material is available.
  21. A number of fans who i work with are sitting with the wimbledon fans, not ideal, but at least you get to see the match. tickets are still available
  22. Are we sure that the ref did apologise to warnock, and its not Warnocks way of stopping the growing feeling in Sheffield that he has had his day. Lets hope we dont have to deal with him again
  23. I agree, i would hope genuinely that his pace has caused him to fall at the slightest challenge rather then diving, as surely on saturday he would have been better crossing the ball into the area then trying to win a penalty. He does appear to take great pleasure in providing goals for others and i am not bothered by him not scoring as long as he is playing aswell as he did on saturday when at times he was marked by three utd players
  24. I agree with Peter, we can''t afford to sign him on his present deal as he is one of the highest paid at the club (pre Hucks). Maybe he could have a dual role as player/striker coach. He could certainly teach our strikers how to hold a ball up and poach a goal. Liverpool have Ian Rush as striker coach, so why don''t we have our own welsh legend as ours
  25. I must say i am not surprised at your comments. I have always disliked Warnock and this weekends events have confirmed everything i thought of him. I saw in one of yesterdays papers that he thought the linesman was from Yorkshire, so was probably a Wednesday fan, how petty is that. Maybe Warnock is complaining in the hope that he will have the officials at another game this season and they will side with his team rather than annoy him again. I am not a great NW fan, but he would never behave like that. Great result for City
