3. Well said Beds, if a few more fans could remember where we were when worthy took over and the days we were getting beaten at home to Swindon on a wet and cold mid week, then maybe they wouldn''t be so keen to demand his neck. These guys will be the ones who sit around me in the N & P and constantly moan. one guy even looked p***ed off when we equalised again the Boro'' coz he had nothing to moan about. It''s nice to see others are getting fed up with the we''re not winning so let''s critise everybody brigade.
4. I suggest you post this on the Hammers website and watch the responses. From all accounts their defence is as poor this season as ours.- just up against lesser forwards - If you listen to the phone ins on Talk sport or Radio 5 you''ll hear Malky and Repka getting stick from all the hammers fans.
5. We all seem to agree that J.S has had a couple of good games but now we need a player to guide him through the rest of the season - step forward Mr Charlton with your experience you can turn this lad into a consistent defender.
6. Last year was great, seeing our beloved city tear apart one team after another and the celebrations in the city well - what a night. We all realised that this was going to be a difficult season. So some of the players have found the step up difficult but have never lacked the effort. I for one appreciate the level of performances they have all turned in this season. If you really like football as a sport - with the exception of the Fulham game - have you really seen anything that you haven''t enjoyed/admired - obviously I would love to have seen more victories but having seen the best players in the country grace Carrow Road has been a excellent experience and I have and will continue to back any team that Worthy puts out win loose or draw. All the players will improve for their experience and will make Norwich stronger in the future whichever division we are in.
7.
Were you actually at the game Bananaman? Richardson was singled out for abuse AFTER his provocative and OTT goal celebration, geddit? Also-and im guessing most people must have missed this as not alot...
If a player crosses the line of competitive decency then he should be reported and the matter dealt with in the correct way. By throwing things at the player it brings our club in to disrepute which could lead to hefty fines - which the club could do without- and the reputation of "all" the clubs fans are tarnished. Games may have to be played behind closed doors. The vocal support has been fantastic for the last few seasons if we can''t take things like this and rise above them then may be we aren''t amongst the best supporters in the league?
8. I thought the team today was the right one and gave the right signals. When the game started we were alll over the place, didn''t look threatening upfront, not creative in the middle and shakey at the back. Top mark to the players for keeping battling but why didn''t it work?
9.
if we do that and they get one early we could struggle, im in favour of same teams as at everton to settle the game and stop them scoring early. keep it tight in the middle. chaplow will prob start an...
What a bonus Chaplow an unproven premiership instead of Koumas who has been the difference between the two teams on a couple of ocassions. Looking on paper the teams look fairly even. ! moment of brilliance or stupidity could be the decider. - Step forward Darren Purse or Darren Huckerby.
10. How should we approach the W.B.A game, 4-5-1 with Francis,Stuart,Holt,Hux and Jonsson. in the midfield Or 4-3-3 with Hux,Ashton and McKenzie upfront.
11. Simple question why don''t we ever get a penalty decision? If the handball by Flemming against Middlesboro'' was hand ball we should have had at least another 4/5 goal chances. Why aren''t they given?
12.
Last season my wife when my wife wanted a season ticket we were told that around 500 a year are not renewed through natrually wastage - that is people moving away, dying or just not wanting to attend ...
To take an under 12 to a football match with an adult works out at around £350 for the 2 tickets. I haven''t seen any under 12''s sitting on thre own yet and assume they probably go with parents/guardian, so the club have actually got £175/seat. Add to that it''s at the younger ages when you pin your colours to the mast. This is a healthy lost leader from the clubs point of view. As my son gets old enough to go to the ground with his mates instead of his Dad he will want to be in the "noisey" part of the ground so will end up paying more and leaving the way for more future fans to get the City bug and fill the stadium. The young fans are the future of the club so any encouragement is good and the earlier you get them hooked the better.
13. Apparently Joe jordan was their and on his way home, David Unsworth fell out of the boot as nobody wanted him during the sale.
14.
I''m not pleased. A 34 yr old has been. I could be wrong, but its not like we''ve signed a 34 yr old who was an absolutely top player. He was nothing more than run-of-the-mill/fairly good in his prime. ...
I don''t think many midfielder (outside the top 5 teams) would replace Murphy and Holland in a midfielder, Stuart has always been a grafter who has the experience that non of our midfielders has.   We have 14 battles ahead to win the war we need leaders, Worthy''s just bought one.  Once again well done Nigel. ( how good a coup is Ashton?) If only we had "another spare" £8 million we could have solved both problems with the Forest duo.
15.
He''s staying at Norwich and hopefully should be fit for the last few games of the season.
Thanks for this information, do you know how many "the last few" is looking like? Also whats the latest on Svensson I have read he could be out for another 6 weeks.
16.
Don''t go praising the Barclay, this means that there was very little singing for 77 minutes!
Without the Barclay all the players would have seen is seats emptying and would have been feeling very low. In a time of need the true "vocal" fans showed their support. So once again well done the Barclay.
17. Let''s get things straight today we were playing against a top 6 side. Downing delivers 2 fantasic corners almost unstopable. Hasselbank curls in a free kick that again was brilliantly executed. And after being 1 up lady luck deserts us for the equalizer,- greeno had the original shot covered. Did we curl up and die? with our injury list getting shorter and the big 3 games to come don''t loose the faith. Palace won''t be playing against a team who they are negotiating a transfer deal with every week! Man City are the proverbial Jeckell and Hydes. Liverpool are very ordinary and had it not been so quickly after the Pompey game we would have baten them.
18. Just a post to congratulate all of you who started singing after the 4th Boro goal went in. This must have got through to the players. - It also drowned out the two winging gits who seem to take more pleasure at knocking the team and heckling the offical than encouraging the team ( they didn''t even celebrate the goals! - why do people like this turn up?)- I sit in the N & P as I have been introducing my son the benefits of supporting your home team.instead of United! The support at Villa was disappointing last week and the vibes through the week were poor. So to each and every one of you. Well Done.
19. I don''t think any one thing made the difference it was a combination of... The Barclay cheering all of you were brilliant. The introduction of Holt and McVeigh into close down the Boro'' Midfield and not give them the time. As above with McKenzie who defended from the front. The positive attitude to "have a go" I hope we attack more teams for the rest of the season we look better in that mode.(Everton,Bolton and now Boro,
20.
the great....keep sniffing whatever it is you do!
I was always told football''s a team game. what is hux contribution currently?
21.
You have to rememberr that all prices in Ipswich are quoted at the special David Sheepshanks 5p in the pound rate. Therefore when Ipswich fans say they think Bent is worth £20 million what they really...
Ros I forgot about the Suffolk exchange rate. Thanks
22. This guy is the best thing to happen to this club since.... (well to be honest not that long ago)Hux. He is every thing we need and in time will prove his worth. Yesterday I was in the I*****h area and read a newsboard stating that they value Bent at £20M? So we have bought a player who has partnered Bent in the England set up for a number of years, He has scored more goals for the last two seasons and is of similar age. Therefore we have made £17M + profit in 1 week! Who says that property is the best investment. I still think he will be worth every penny we spent and some.
23. Imagine for a minute after we had played Villa we were on the way home listening to the radio and were told that Greeno would be out for the rest of the season and Huckerby was also on the long term injury list. How would you feel? - doomed to relegation? So how must the Southampton fans be feeling with Niemi and Phillips in this situation? West Brom are still struggling to win games and need 3 to catch us so our game with them is a cup final and a win over Palace would put us above them. The battle is still in our own hands. The 3 to go down WBA, Saints and either Palace or us.
24. I parked on the streets in an industrial estate with no problem - However last time I went to Birmingham I parked on the road and this lad offered to look after my car for a fiver. Jokingly I told him I didn''t need to have the car guarded as I had left the dog in the car. The lad then turned round to me and said "Oh yeah mister and can the dog put out fires?" I moved the car to another area.
