  1. It wasn''t Worthy who let us down yesterday.  Let''s keep positive and get behind the whole club.
  2. Francis has been lazy and totally uncomitted since January.  He may not have his ability, but at least Holty tries. We don''t want prima donnas wearing yellow, so offload him and buy someone who is proud to wear the shirt. Be lucky to get £1 mill for him though.
  3. Jonezy, Start walking mate, you know it''s worth it. Dicky
  4. This is one of the most exciting weekends of football in the 30 something years I have followed Norwich - brought to us courtesy of Worthy. Let''s appreciate what he has done and get behind him
  5. Me and a couple of mates had the pleasure of playing in a charity match a few weeks ago at Carrow Road, with Eadie playing for us and Dale Gordon for the opposition. Eadie is a top bloke and v.v. skillfull.  Twice he hit the woodwork from his own half!! Having said that, without Hucks last season we would not be in the Prem now. 10 out of 10 for both.
  6. Took me a few seconds, but nice one.
  7. Four of us are in the Fulham end - there will be lots - just have to wait and see how vocal we can be - certainly will be at the end when we win.
  8. Spoken to the Corporate ticket holders who advised that we won''t get in if wearing away colours - will certainly have them on underneath though and will be singing when given a chance. Let''s have a repeat of Wimbledon last year (at MK) where pockets of fans errupted when Hucks scored - think of the positive effect on the team for all round support.  We are far far better at home than away, all of the team comment on how important the fans have been, so let''s do our bit to make it happen.  Let''s play our part.
  9. Having to win is better for us - we are awful at trying not to lose in the same way that we can be awful at trying to preserve a lead.  We can and we will win.
  10. Flemo is a good honest pro, who gives his all and has yellow and green running through his veins.  Tries a hell of a lot harder, and more committed than Francis who was second in Player of the Year?
  11. After the Arsenal game, I was not really looking forward to the Man U game, but out of the blue, my wife stated categorically that Norwich would win, which I laughed off.  After she was right, I have asked her prediction for every game since and without a word of a lie, she has predicted the right outcome. For the last two games, mates have been phoning up to ask how we are going to get on and even placing bets on the back of it. Her prediction for Sunday - we will be alright, although we may not win? Trust me.....
  12. A lot of people with short memories, who cannot remember us being in danger of dropping out of the (then) first Div after Hamilton. I think Worthy has made some shocking buys (Doherty, Stuart, Johnson), but we are never going to agree with him all of the time - I don''t rate Helveg, but many do. Look at the key buys - Hucks, Ash, Leon, Saf. Let''s get behind Worthy.  He has got us up and he will keep us up - and he''s a bloody nice bloke....
  13. I will be in the Fulham end (could only get Corporate tickets) with three mates - we will be wearing colours and singing our hearts out - if we get thrown out, we will watch it in a pub next to the ground.  I don''t think the Fulham fans will be too bothered?
  14. Like all honest pros, they will do their best, as we hope Man Utd, Portsmouth and Charlton do - but we know that we have the players and the desire to win our first away game of the season.  Roy of the Rovers stuff if (when) we stay up. My old man, said be an Ipswich fan................
  15. Still stick by my original comments - stick to the basics rather than trying to show boat which gets us into trouble.
  16. Can''t believe the Sun gave Shacks a measly 4 out of 10.  Shacks is our great defensive hope and I wouldn''t be surprised if he''s being watched by the bigger teams.
  17. Why is Helveg unable to clear the ball easily rather than try and do the fancy stuff and cause problems at the back.  Not sure if Eddie is any better - desperately need a good, solid right back.  Also, Francis doesn''t look interested - obviously off in the summer.
