1.
a man - 6 ft, dark hair, irish accent has just moved into mulbarton, opposite my uncle, where Ricky Martin used to live. Huckerbys car has been seen there today.. Alan lee?
Huckerby''s car has also been seen at Carrow Rd today so I wonder what''s going on there?  Perhaps, something to placate the fans after todays news?!?!
2. .......those fans in the Russell Allison who at 4-1 down were chanting Bryan Gunn''s name and cheering the team on like they are hero''s. I admire you''re optimism but this was Charlton, not even Fulham, a team that had been relegated for several weeks and are bottom of the Champs by a country mile, and we were getting torn apart.  Now I don''t blame Gunny for this but he is partly culpable for the sad position we find ourselves in and yet you sang his name like he was a hero, almost oblivious to what was actually happening. We are now at out lowest echelon for 50 years, long before I can remember but I''ve been a season ticket holder for 20 years and will remain so whilst the club still exists.  I''m a loyal supporter, will be until I die, which I why I pay my money to keep the club going (although I appreciate that those who haven''t renewed have their reasons as well) but I also realise when times areso very bad and really need changing. I won''t boo indviduals and I think some of the critisicism certain players have recieved is unfair.  But I won''t clap a team off that has lost at home to a mediocre team that has nothing to play for, like Sheff Wed or Coventry, but many of you do.  These are the games that relegated us, not today, not Reading on Monday.  The club appreciate your money but why do you bother going?  If you''re happy losing 4-1 to Charlton, why should the players be any different?  At the end of the day, they''re getting paid to play with no passion, you''re the one''s paying to see it. Since the crowds have improved, so has the apathy amongst a large proportion of the supporters.  We''ve been relegated to league 1, whilst Peterboro (and most likely MK Dons) have been promoted, with a measly 46 points, confirmed with possibly the most gutless and pathetic performance I have ever seen.  But yet you still find reasons to cheer your team on, why?  What exactly are you cheering? No doubt, if in the next few weeks, you see the players out, you will swarm around them like they are some kind of local hero''s, forgetting the fact that they have let you down so badly.  Relegation has hurt and embarrased me to the extent that I won''t sing Gunn''s or Norwich''s name when we''re losing to Charlton because I really care and want better than an away trip to Yoevil next season or perhaps more importantly, the season after.   Eadie, Robins, Goss, Bowen, Roberts, Holt, Huckerby and many others are all real City hero''s and deserve your praise and song but most on the pitch today and this season don''t.                I have renewed my season ticket and will remain a loyal fan but we do not need

4. I''m sorry anyone who is a Gunn lover but we have to fact up to facts.  In the 2 most important matches in our recent history we have been shite and that falls on Gunn. I hate Roedent with a passion and blame him for the atrocity that is this season and I don''t blame Gunn for us going down.  But he picked the team today (which was bizarre to say the least ) and he motivated the team today and we did not show up, it was a disgrace.  We''ve also lost 5 of the last 6 matches, which is hardly good form thus, I will be cancelling my season ticket if he is in charge next season.  Its the boards fault we are in this mess, followed very closely by Roedent but Gunn is the man who finished us off.  Perhaps if the board are set to lose 7 million on relegation, it would have been a better gamble to pay a bit more and go for the experienced option who had more chance of keeping us up.
5.
I''d imagine that Jon Molby can still swing in a decent corner. Sad thing is he''d also be better in the rest of the play than Lappin. Whilst I didn''t agree with the way Lappin was treated by Roeder after he was dropped. He was dropped out of sight because he is not up to football at this level. I saw nothing yesterday to show that anything has changed.
I thought Lappin was one of our best players yesterday (with Shax) and most of our limited attacking threat came from his left peg, inclduing a number of set piece delivery''s and the cross that led to Mooney''s ''goal''.  Shax and Lee both had very good opportunities from his crosses and probably should have done better. The midfield being overun was nothing to do with Lappin''s ability but the fact that he kept drifting out to the left leaving Clingan exposed, which will come naturally to someone who has spent his entire career playing as a left sided player.  This was less of a problem at Brum when everyone else in the midfield played 100% better and compensated for this but yesterday Croft, Carney and Clingan were all pretty dire, albeit down to being injured, tired or both. I think this simply comes down to Gunny getting his tactics and team selection wrong this time and nothing to do with Lappin not being up to it at this level.
6.
The football factory film inspired a hoody chav generation, Danny Mockney dyer and his stage school wannabee middle class herbets have a lot to answer for.
Bit harsh to blame Danny Dyer, he was just in the film, which was based on a book by Nick Love I think.  Mr Dyer didn''t even have anything to do with the production of the film, just offered the lead role, was he supposed to say no to a big fat pay cheque for basically playing himself?!?! But I do agree with your sentiments on the hoody chav generation!

8. ....and we have to really, Gunn''s record in charge will be respectable IMO. That would be 2 wins, 4 draws and 2 defeats in his 8 matches in charge.  Compared to Roeders last 8 matches in charge where we got 1 win, 1 draw and 6 defeats, its more than a decent turnaround in fortunes.  Particulalry when you take into account that of Roeders last 8 matches, 3 were against Charlton (2 at home) and one at home against Forest (who looked doomed at the time). I''m not jumping on the Gunn bandwagon and whether he is the correct choice as manager, we will see.  But based on the above, it seems likely that we would now be certainties for relegation if Roeder was still in charge. I appreciate this is all hypothetical and reliant on us winning tomorrow.  IMO if we don''t, Gunn''s record looks far less impressive and the bigger picture would probably suggest relegation.  So tomorrow is the key, come on you yellows!!!
9. You all seem to be missing the point.  Would it not have been possible for the Doc to make some kind of challenge without getting himself sent off?  Why does it have to be he either lets him run through to score or he takes him out?  It was just a typical Doc tackle. Anyway, can you not read, I''m not blaming the Doc, I''ve said the pen was a result of Marshalls kick, I''m just saying no-one has mentioned the fact that it was a very clumsy challenge to make it in the box and he can''t be completely free of all blame.  GRD has even stated that the sending off killed the game for us.  Marshall effectively gave away a goal but it was the sending off that made it extremely difficult for us to get back in the match.  I fancied our chances with 11 on the pitch. Yes, I am aware Marshall is c*** but IMO the Doc isn''t a great deal better.  As for him being our best player this season, how does that work then Coops?  He missed the first 3 months and we have shipped goals for fun ever since, I think Croft or Clingan may have something to say about that statement!  I don''t think using Grounds to ''big up'' the Doc is also a very fair comparison.  Grounds in a young inexperienced left back playing out of position in a struggling side, with a clown in goal behind him whereas, the Doc is our experienced vice-captain and should be at the top of his game!
10. I''m not trying to deflect the blame away from Marshall here because the pen was a result of his pathetic kick but because of this the Doc seems to be free of all blame. If it was a pen, then how can the Doc be blame free.  I saw it from the Barclay end at it looked contentious but I''ve not seen it since.  In the unlikely event that D''urso got it right, then what exactly was the Doc doing?  It was a clumsy challenge at best and he knew if he mis-timed it, he would be sent off.  Would he not have been better off letting Marshall deal with his error and worse case scenario, the guys scores but at least its still 11 vs 11.  I''ve just read the player ratings post and most people are still giving the Doc a 5 or 6.  He was terrible when on the pitch in our sieve-like defense and however rubbish Marshall''s kick was, played a major part in us losing yesterday.
11. Marshall is rubbish!  He has been guilty of a huge amount of errors this season, I would go as far to say he makes at least one cock up a match, albeit sometimes he is not punished for it.  He can''t kick, he''s terrible at crosses and always seems too concerned about getting a boot in the head when he comes for anything, therefore he has no conviction when he does. Yes, he can make a decent save when no-one is near him applying any pressure but the saves he made yesterday were fairly routine and I would expect a £1m keeper to make them.  I would expect someone who claims they are good enough to be playing international football to be able to do a bit more! Even at Forest when he was MOM material, he still cocked up their goal!
12. Thank you for your concern but I already have a life, which is why I wasn''t posting on here at 10:46pm on a Saturday night!
13. Calm down Lincs, of course spelling mistakes happen, I''m no English teacher hence the errors in my original post! However, I''m unsure how a true supporter can not know a players surname.  For example, calling Pattison, Paterson, is not really a spelling mistake, its not his name! Would you be upset if I kept calling you Lancs CR?!? PS I probably do still have a number of units of alcohol in my system!
14. I may be being slightly picky but the amount of posts on here that appear to be written by an infant never ceases to amaze me! People who claim to be hardcore supporters but spend a great deal of time debating about Paterson, Omosuzi or some guy called Ostemebor!!!  I''ve just read a post about a legend called Huckerbey! I''ve been known to mis-spell the odd word if posting when intoxicated so I''ll get of my soapbox now.  But if I wanted to read about Paterson, I''d go on a Burnley message board!!!
15. I said on here the day Roeder was sacked (I think!) that Crook had recently had a meeting with Doomcaster but my post didn''t seem to generate too much interest as I only got 3 replies (again, I think!)
16. I''ve have it on very good authority that Crooky met with Doomcaster a week or so ago.  There may be nothing in this and if there is, I would suspect/expect it would be for an assistants role but the two of them have definately met. It seems likely that the board do already have irons in the fire as they have left us with no-one to take charge following the sacking of Roedent and all connected with him!
17. I hate to say it, but I told you so!  Everything about my original post way back before the start of the season has in-fact been proven to be correct, even the ''pretty average'' Spurs quote.  The only thing incorrect about my post was the spelling and literacy but I''d had a couple of shandys at the time, so can be forgiven.  It''s actually quite amusing looking back at the replies from the deluded optimists, I wonder how many of you still feel the same way now??? For all those posters that replied with abuse or sarcasm, I will gladly provide you with a spoon so that you can humbly eat your words!!!
18. I''ve just stumbled across an old edition of 442 in which the 50 best football league players (in their view) are listed.  I was surprised to see our very own Wes Hoolahan sitting in a very lofty 14th position.  This is the same Wes Hoolahan who has failed to do anything of note (yes, nothing whatsoever) since signing for us in the summer.  So Roeder, has managed to turn the 14th best player in the football league into someone so ineffective, he hasn''t actually even been played in a large number of our matches this season.  Made me wonder who else Roeder has managed to turn from a fairly decent player to a shower of sh*te!  Well, Marshall is a Scotland international but you''d never have known in based on this season''s performance''s.  Likewise, Omuzusi and Bertrand are both England U21 players and very well thought of at their prem parent clubs but both have been fairly shocking for us this season.  When we signed Semmy he''d just been selected in the league 1 PFA team of the year but is currently playing like he has no ability whatsoever.  Cureton has gone from being the Champs top scorer to not being able to hit a barn door and get a game in a team without any strikers.  Sibierski has had a decent career in top flight football and I expect will play for Wigan again this season but has looked like one of the worse players ever to pull on a Norwich shirt.  Huckerby hardly set the world alight under Roeder but we''re all fully aware of what ability he has and is currently doing pretty well in the MLS (he''s had more of an impact than a certain Mr D Beckham, who is currently on loan at a certain Milan team).  I''m sure there''s plenty more example''s where Roeder''s poor man-mangement, bizarre team selections and tactics have turned good players at this level into those more suited to the Blue Square.  Hence we''re currently heading for relegation with a team that, on paper, should be top half at least (even better when you consider we''ve had Lita for more than half the season so far).
19. Those people who are still backing Roeder on the basis that he has had no money are spend, I would just like you to consider the facts.  The board have backed Roeder as much as they did Worthy whilst he was in this division, the only difference being Worthy got us to a play off final and subsequently promoted on a shoe-string budget.  Roeder has had the cash but he has either wasted it or used it in a completely inefficient manner.  He has signed 24 players in roughly 14 months, each with a considerable signing on or loan fee and how many of these could you count as complete successes?!?  I would say possibly, only Clingan, Evans, Lita and Taylor with three of these only short term solutions and are no longer playing for us.  Bell looks promising but the jury is still out and whether he''s still here post January is anyone''s guess. Whereas, how many of these have not worked out for one reason or another?!?  I would say Archibald-Henville, Bates, Gibbs, Grounds, Henry, Hoolahan (to date), Koroma, Lupoli (not sure why), Rigters, Sibierski and Velasco.  Bertrand and Omozusi have had a margin of success but are really no better than we already have.  Camara looked when he first signed but then after a few matches, seemed to be the first player to recieve what is now known as the Lappin, Chadwick, Lupoli treatment.  Kennedy and Stefanovic both appeared to be decent but neither will play for us again this season leaving us very short in defence.  Pattison has had his moments but is he really good enough to keep Russell out of the team?!?  Nelson hasn''t kicked a ball for us and I expect is not as good but being paid considerably more than Joe Lewis was.  Likewise, Cort is a gamble and thus far, has hardly played since signing.  So of the permanent signings, I think Roeder has spent roughly £2m on Bell, Hoolahan, Pattison and Stefanovic of which none have been a mitigated success and for one reason or another, have hardly been the first names on the team sheet (plus signing on fees and decent wages, particulalry for Stefanovic).  Clingan, Nelson, Cort and Velasco we''re either free transfers or short term deals but would probably come with a signing on fee (certainly Clingan and Nelson would). The loans will all cost money and contrary to what people seem to think aren''t necessarily a cheap solution.  Take Sibierski and Lupilo for example, Wigan and Fiorentina would demand a loan fee for their time here.  As well as this, we are reported to be paying £15k of Sibierki''s £25 per week wages.  I would guess we are paying at least £5k a week of Lupoli''s wages.   This means that since signing and up to the end of Jan we would have been out roughly £420k in wages, which would actually sign permanently a fairly decent lower league striker, who''s wage demands would also be massively less.  The said lower league striker would also be an asset of the club and not need to be replaced again in several months time, when the whole cycle will start again.  He could also possibly be sold in a season or two''s time for a profit. If you apply this theory to the rest of the loan players, you will see that Roeder has actually spent and wasted a lot of cash and this cycle will continue whilst he is here.  If for whatever reason, Roeder isn''t going to play Lupoli, Archibald-Henville, Koroma why are they here?!?  That''s loan fee''s plus wages possibly of around £8-£10 per week that could be used elsewhere and is just being wasted.  That''s roughly £500k, which would have more or less covered the transfer fee of most of Worthy''s signings whilst we were in this division but yet people think Roeder hasn''t had any money to spend.  For those that are still pro-Huckerby, it would have also covered his wages for another season and I would expect he would have had much more of an impact that the three loan players. So please do not say that Roeder hasn''t had any money.  He has managed to strip the club of several of its assets by releasing a number of our permanent players on free transfers and replacing them with temporary short term solutions.  This is actually costing the club a great deal of money but also devaluing it at the same time.  Have a look at the list of Roeder signings below, had I not mentioned them earlier, you probably wouldn''t have even remembered several of them: Archibald-Henville      Bates      Bell      Bertrand      Camara      Clingan      Cort      Evans      Gibbs      Grounds      Henry      Hoolahan      Kennedy      Koroma      Lita Lupoli      Nelson      Omozusi      Pattison      Pearce      Rigters      Sibierski      Stefanovic      Taylor      Velasco Apologies for the lenght of post but this is a topic that is really starting to infuriate me!
20. A good team plays sh*t and wins, a sh*t team plays well and loses.  How often this season have we lost without deserving it?!?
21. The general view as to why Russell (a guy who by his own admission doesn''t even like playing upfront) is preferred upfront to Lupoli is that Roeder thinks he is too lightweight. Well, how big was Lupoli when we signed him?  From memory, I can''t recall him ever being any bigger than he currently is and therefore, Roeder would have known he is lightweight when he signed him.  That of course, assumes Roeder did any kind of home work on Lupoli, which he clearly didn''t on Troy, OJ and to a certain extent Sibierski.  So, my question is, why does Roeder keep wasting money that is allegedly is short supply, on players he is never going to play?!? Besides, whether Lupoli is 11st or 13st he''s still scored 4 goals in 5 starts and has always looked dangerous when played.  Does a striker need to be a man-mountain to score goals in this league?  Unless Cureton has taken some of Lupoli''s shrinking pills, he wasn''t particularly heavyweight when he won the golden boot a couple of years ago! This all makes a nonesense of Roeder''s too lightweight statement and proves that he either has a massive problem with Lupoli or that he is clueless (which he clearly is anyway) or most likely, both!
22. Seems to be a bit of a poor mans David James to me - brilliant at times but prone to calamatous errors probably due to a lack of concentration.  Ipswich was good, last night was a distaster.  Even at Forest when he was vitually unbeatable he was at fault for their goal. I would tell him to lay off the PS3, it seems to have worked for James!
23. I hope not - he seems to think that scoring goals is less important than having lots of nice possession!
