  1. The latest disastrous performance where by all reports the players played without any spirit once again shows that the majority do not want to play for Norwich , and those who can will clear off in the January transfer window - Worthington in his post match comments could offer no hope when asked how will he change things - he is now resorting to blaming injuries ( we only had 2 who would have played ) and attacking his players as being spineless, and mosat worryingly he appeared to be giving up . It is clear that he no longer has the players support and the game is therefore up . When the team do not want to play , the manager has to go . Delia , why is it that you and the board cannot see what 90% of the supporters can - We need to change the manager now or it will be too late . The limit of our expectation already is that we can avoid relegation - i would settle for that right now - so let''s do some commonsense planning for next year right now - Get rid of Worthington just to stop further rot - appoint David Williams from the youth team short term to freshen things up whilst taking your time to make the right full time appointment. If you delay any more it will be too late - 4 games out of next 5 are away and at the end of that we will be in the relegation zone.
  2. Delia - We are in trouble : big trouble . Please just try and do what all good captains of industry do and try and predict the future .In this case it''s not difficult . Let''s just look forward two months when the transfer window opens - Can you guess what will happen ? Ashton , Green , Davenport , Safri and proabably Huckerby will be so fed up and will go to cosier pastures . You will not be able to stop them What sort of team will that leave us - a team destined for division 1 . Unless you act now. Our beloved manager who has now won 11 games in the last 54 has revealed his latest trick . Let''s get rid of one of the best full backs in the league on a free ( Edworthy ) , lets buy two more who are not fit to lace his boots , and let''s play an aged Fleming who struggles to pass the half way line instead . Is this an example of a good manager ? Delia , it is clear that Worthington has COMPLETELY lost the plot , but he isn''t going anywhere is he . He won''t walk out on a big payoff ( and you can''t blame him for that ) and you are worried about the expense of paying him off . But how much will it cost when we are in Div 1 and you have crowds of 10000 ??
  3. Unfortunately Worthy will not walk away Deano , as he will be walking away from a lot of money . No i''m afraid we are stuck with a board who won''t pay him off , and with a manager who won''t walk . Quite depressing outlook really !
  4. I have to say i am shocked by the Delia statement last night . Shocked that she seems to have her head buried firmly in the sand refusing to acknowledge the shambles that pervades Carrow Road but also shocked by her comments which insult the supporters intelligence. " A good manager doesn''t become a bad one overnight " - Agree with you Delia . So Nigel''s record is 11 wins in last 53 league games . When was overnight ? 53 games ago ?? She quotes 6 - 7 injuries that are absolutely key to the success . Who of those currently injured would get into the side ? Two , Safri and Drury . Safri was the key injury i agree , but one which could and should have been totally avoided if the club had reminded him who paid his wages and stopped him travelling to Morocco and making a minor injury into a 7 games missed one . Are we the only club to have endured injuries in this division ?? - i think not . Have we the smallest squad ? I think not . No its down to basic bad decisions like playing a Premiership full back in midfield and a midfielder at full back and wondering why we concede 7 goals in two games. " It''s difficult to motivate a relegated team " - Yes , maybe for a short while i think we all would accept that - But as Palace and Soton have proved this should not last 15 games . Why is it that only Norwich players cannot be motivated ???? It seems Delia we are without hope as you clearly cannot see the wood from the trees . Or is this just a fudge as you and the rest of the board pray that we start winning . Shouldn''t you be really be telling us the truth ie  " Look fans , sorry but we gave Nigel a new contract last year and we are not prepared to pay him off as it will cost too much , so let''s just hope things turn around eh " The point is Delia we just don''t have the time - Come January when Ashton , Green , Safri and maybe even Huckerby decide to cut their losses with NCFC we will be left with a squad which is going one way - into the 1st division . Delia , get your head out of the sand and please act now before it''s too late.
  5. There can be little hope for the future when Delia is refusing to ackmowledge the shambles that pervades Carrow Road . " A good manager doesn''t become a bad manager overnight " she says . Yes i agree - 11 wins in the last 53 league games is the current record , against Wigans 6 in 9 games . Just when was this manager good ? When was overnight ? 53 games ago ???  She cites the terrible injuries Nigel''s had to contend with - Exactly who is injured right now who would get in the team ? Oh yes Safri - And this was totally self inflicted as Worthington let him play for Morrocco knowing he was injured . Who else ? Only Drury - yet in his absence we prefer to play a Premiership left back ( Charlton ) in midfield and Brennan ( a midfielder ) at left back . Who else Delia ????? Why don''t you just come out and say " Look we gave Nigel an extended contract last year and we can''t afford to pay off his contract , so let''s all just pray and hope we start winning soon - let''s stick together ey " I can assure you that the cost of his contract will be small compared to relegation . Delia , get your head out of the sand and stop the rot now - Because when Safri , Ashton .Green ,Davenport and maybe Huckerby move to more progressive clubs in January this club will be on a route that Nottingham Forest fans can tell you all about !
  6. That''s what they thought at Forest . Without Davenport , Safri and Ashton ?????
  7. Sorry all you pro Worthington fans but if we don''t change the management now we will be facing relegation as real probability . Do you think come the January window that Ashton , Safri and Davenport will want to stay ?? Even HUckerby ?  No , and without them our plight will be too scary to contemplate . Let''s look at Worthy''s record . He has won just 11 league games in the last 53 . Compare that to little Wigan who have won 6 in the last 9 in the Premiership . In any other walk of life anyone with Worthy''s record would now be " moved on " . No we need to cast sentiment aside and accept that Worthy is now past his sell by date and move on quickly before it is too late . Delia , put us out of our misery for the sake of the club which we all love ! Yes it may cost a lot of money to pay off his contract but it will cost even more if we get relegated !
  8. Well let''s hope he does get fed up with the flack and leave but i don''t think so . Why ? Because he would be walking away from a huge payout if he got sacked ,so he will hang on - and this is the reason why the board won''t sack him - they can''t afford it ! So like it or not we are stuck with Worthy until we are relegated ! The board must be praying they start winning soon !
  9. I agree if he was fit . But he wasn''t - he had to come off against Brighton - It is clear that he should not have played and Worthington should have been strong enough to tell him . Would Alex Ferguson have allowed this ? I don''t think so !
  10. Totally agree . It is beyond belief that Worthington should allow him to go when it was clear he was injured. Instead of resting for the last 2 weeks and being fit for Saturday , he is now set to miss seven games . What a complete shambles !What an insult to the fans !
  11. We had one - Kevin Cooper who arrived two seasons ago at a time when fortunes were starting to go against us ( Crystal Palace away )and turned our season around. Another one of Worthy''s bad decisions to let him go .
  12. Isn''t the Pearce saga  a perfect example of Worthington''s failure in the transfer market that has produced the shambolic team we have . Isn''t it exactly 12 months ago he made the same panic move just before the deadline for Gary Doherty to fill the void left by Malky''s departure ? Wasn''t he supposed to be the answer ? Course not - I forgot Worthy bought Doherty as our frontline striker to lead us into the Premiership , becaiuse he forgot Iwan had been kicked out as well ! He hardly played Doherty as Centre back so he never really had a chance to impress ., But what''s so unusual about that ? How many games did Helveg or Charlton play at full back , the positions they were brought in to fill ? 12 months on and we still await a decent partner for Shackell . Enough said !
  13. Matt , you are spot on with everrything you say . Unfortunately , i fear that the NCFC board have their heads buried deep in the sand and alas we are heading for Division 1 .
  14. We are paying the price for two years of continual wasted money in the transfer market and opitomised by the failure to replace Iwan and Malky 12 months on . We have been left with a very ordinary team whose only hope is surviving relegation . Wworthington won''t resign as he will be walking out on a big pay off , so it''s up to the board . How many games will it take for this to happen ? I guess no more than 10 - i hope !
  15. if we are still poor after 15 games it will be too late .  OUT
  16. In any oither walk of life Worthington would be out a long time ago . No away win for over 15 months ! Just how many games without a win will the pro Worthy supporters still say he will take us up come May . Wake up - We are facing a relegation battle and Worthington is well past his sell by date ..
  17. Totally agree . This farce cannot be allowed to go on any longer . Two years of wasted money in the transfer market has now come home to roost . Worthington has left us with a very average team who are in freefall . It is a disgrace !  Delia , do everone a favour and put us all out of our misery.
  18. Just how many games without a win or Norwich in the relegation zone will the Worthy supporters stand ? Are you still going to say he saved the club after 15 games without a win like last year ? Yes he did a good job to take us up although we had more than our fair share of luck along the way , but having got us there this was the man who took us into the Premiership with a centre half as our frontline striker and a 5''6" left back as a centre half . This was the man who wasted money on Helveg , Jonnson and Doherty . This is the man who got rid of Svennson , Edworthy , Mulryne all who were key players in the championship winning side . Finally , this is the man who has left us with a very average side who will be fighting a relegation battle come May next year . He is out of his depth and should go now .
  19. Have to agree with Bob Da Canary - Why else would we give Ashton a new contract after 8 months ? It is obvious that subject to us buying Morrisson , Ashton was on his way - As this didn''t happen we needed to come up with a sweetener for Dean .
  20. Or more likely ,Ashton was going to be sold subject to getting a replacement . As this hasn''t happened Ashton knows he won''t be sold right now so is taking advantage of better contract . Call me a cynic !
  21. Ashton is as good as sold ! Don''t believe anything else - he won''t play against Leeds - Worthy will say he is still injured - but he will not be here post transfer deadline.
  22. I live in Reading , seen them play enough times to confirm that Hughes is rubbish and that the Reading supporters couldn''t believe we wanted him , let alone pay 500k !! Sorry , but yet another Worthington waste of money . We are a very average team who are where we deserve to be - let''s not delude ourselves any longer.
  23. The problem is that he is only spending £2m on a striker because he knows Ashton is on his way . So he has until end of this month to find someone else or we will have to send Doherty up front again!
  24. It is now clear that once again Worthington has wasted the clubs money in the transfer market and we are heading for a needlessly difficult season. I cannot understand why Worthington has been allowed to get away with so many bad decisions . For example 1. Failure to replace Iwan - Entered Premier League with a Centre Half as our main striker !( Doherty) 2. Failure to replace Malky - Entered Premier League with a 5''6" full back as Centre Half !( Charlton) 3. Failure to replace Kevin Cooper , a right sided player who could beat men and score goals . We replaced with Johnnson who could do neither and now Marney who looks like he will not take on the full back 4. Let Crouch go to Southampton for £2m because we " couldn''t afford him" and yet bought Ashton for twice as much when it was too late 5. Bought Helveg who was good enough for Inter Milan but not good enough for Norwich . Bought Doherty as Malky replacement but played him Centre Forward and clearly not good enough Centre back 6. Bought Jarrett and Hughes who are looking a waste of money . I live in Reading and the supporters here couldn''t believe we were after Hughes . Just what does Jarrett do ? 7. Got rid of Edworthy , one of the few successes of last season The only transfer decision he got right was Huckerby and that was down to supporter pressure . It is clear that Aaston will soon leave - Why else would he be trying to waste another £2m on Morrisson when it is clear to every supporter that our midfield is bereft of ideas and our defence is once again being exposed . Make no mistake we are not in a false position in the league . Worthington has had a lot of time and money to put together a good side . He has failed and it is only a matter of time before he does us all a favour and leaves.
