  1. I get the frustration about the recruitment not getting a CB or CDM in (bar that they have been excellent), but for Christ sake, Liverpool and mancity, 2 of the top 10 in Europe. No one really expected anything, 1 point from 6 would of been wonderful! Lighten up people. Kudos DF for farke sticking with how we wants the team to play - we all shot AN when he changed after he got tonked by Newcastle early in season back in 15/16, and we all kind of know DF wouldn't just park the bus. Give it to Xmas, then we can judge a bit more ...
  2. Sorry but I can't believe man city are so low! Imagine we now got Man city style owners and the amazing investment into every aspect of the club and facilities and players and everything. How is that not in the high nineties?
  3. Look at us hard core fans getting up this early with excitement! Come on lads! Hugill to come on and score the winner! And zimbo to have a worldie of game! Btw- really good podcast about how Jordan hugill got into football from the podcast called "from the Finney meets"
  4. I do get that most of us ideally would like a CDM, but it's probably important and difficult to get the right one in, who works financially and can also play. I agree with the post from @AJ that skipp was almost too good in terms of being a tough act to follow and also unlikely for him to return. I'd imagine the loan space has him pencilled in either last minute or with January in mind. On the other hand, if we are crying out for one, to find one who will not break the bank, be good enough for the premier league and is a destroyer at CDM and physical enough to play in the premier League and have the passing ability/football brain to work in farkes team then that is quite a list, which does include restrictions. IM in the camp where I'd like the magical man mentioned above or skipp himself. But if not then give Sorenson a go, he deserves it, was bought for it and could surprise us all again, just like last year or when Cantwell came into it. also are we all writing off Kenny. Yeah he didn't smash it last premier League campaign, but last year he came on leaps and bounds. He isn't the destroyer ofc but he has improved through and through imo.
  5. Got to say it, and I am one to have a go at Delia and the board for not spending, or when we sold Emi for what I felt was too low, but well done NCFC Good window, shame about Emi but still Contract for farke Money spent on young players who are well thought of, you can't really say we have tried this on cheap. Players have been bought for actual money! Love that max is still here, good man. Roll on Saturday So yeah, just want to say how well Norwich have done in this window. I think it's important and fair that I praise them when they are active like this, especially as I'm quick to put the boot in sometimes.
  6. Thanks for the reply man. Would you wish to keep him personally? If JH was happy to stay? Or would you want him gone?
  7. Good move. Does this spell the end for hugill? I know we have all said how good he is for changing room and a plan B, as well as giving us a Focal point up top and hold the ball well, which will probably be ever so more vital this season. Id prefer we kept him, but I guess it's hugill who may wish to be paying more regularly than he will at Norwich maybe idah out on loan if he was to be first choice where he goes, but he seems frimly in DFs plans so 😕 is the majority on wanting hugill out?
  8. Adding to my above. Would anyone take a cup final over staying in the premier League?
  9. I think they is such a good post and question to open to us fans on here. My head would say off the bat, forget the cups, throw everything at the league and landing 17th - that's a great season! However, like LDC has stated, squads got some players in it, and they will be needed probably more this year than most premier seasons just as we don't know how the pandemic or pingdemic even will affect first 11 choices. Also, yeah farke has given the cups a good go and I'd say although disappointed last time to get relegated the great run we had to the semi's was it , was a highlight of the season. And also, let's be honest, this season the cups are our only real hope of silverware
  10. Tbf he plays in bundesliga and is a young usa international, if he comes he is initially going to be behind atleast pukki so I mean, what can you expect? You must agree that no player in the Ilk of - what I am assuming you want and mean for a player that is for now- is going to be willing to come here with the finances on offer and be okay with being behind pukki if they are in the here and now of their career too. Do you agree to my ramble there? Young, with experience in a decent league and international with potential and sell on value who is used to bundesliga level, within our finances, well what is not to like?
  11. Must be true as it states he play for Norwich on wiki
  12. Big fan of rivers! And I think when lappin is on its insightful Love Cedric ansellin but he wasnt on too much last year, due to Norwich utd commitments I suppose. Holty is good for any kind of cup match- gets well into it! Who out of the current crop of players would you have on (if say God forbid they were ruled out for the season) my pick has got to be Timmy krul. That man, 💓 !
  13. It's still just too painful to see Emi in those god awful colours...
  14. I wonder from the bench today, where DF sees (or how far he sees) nizet and Tomlinson from the squad in some description- or are they just to fill the numbers? Anyone know if rocky bushri is still contracted to us
  15. Is there anywhere to even listen to it or anything as there isn't a stream? Thank you guys
  16. Sad as Marc guehi had a fantastic season, probably too expensive for what we were looking for. I heard last night (possibly talk sport) that Watford have had a bid rejected for billing. I wonder if we will be priced out for him. Similar to the situation which is supposedly with ajer going Brentford. I feel it's transfers like that (if they are to be believed and come true) that stress us fans out, we should be able to compete with both of those sides as newbies!
  17. I can fully understand your reservations however he has a fair few premier appearances at a young age and hasn't been completed binned by any of the Everton mangers. I just wonder if he had farke and the coaching team , would that be a move that would suit all three parties. Obviously I do think he would do well but I take your point. I just don't know if he would class as the type of player wrbber and farke feel they could unlock potential in If it was upto you (and lonely in the interest of being fair and want to know your side of the story as per fare debate) who would you you target. I'm not gunna hound you, just purely out of interest. Yellows to yellows fan.
  18. Seems a bit trivia to pick at my title but by all means, please consider the thread renamed "here are some players I like" If I was @cambridgeshire canarycanary prehaps id create a new thread especially for it! ... Kidding! I come on peace. @Nuff Said ... Binner 😉
  19. Just been reading the q n a page with paddy d. Very good read and love how our board on here reacts to this. I'd like to put forward a couple of possible transfer targets I think we could get and see what you guys think of my way of thinking: Joe lolley from forest Good age, and always played well against us. Surely he would jump at the chance and what of forest and their finances, it must be peak time for them to sell. I'd have no idea what sort of price or package could you be offered to them but possible we could buy him for 4/5m with someone like omotoye or placheta or even Thompson or mccallum on loan? Lolley can be a winger, clearly has an eye for goal and also could fill in at lb ? Tom davies from Everton. Came on at Everton few years ago. I don't think he is a starter where he is. I think he could be an upgrade to Kenny as an option in no. 10 and could do the job at no.6. would only be a loan you would have to think. Is. Chair. QPR. I think he had a good season, and by all stretches of the imagine our pull and finance would be too much for chair and QPR. I can't seeing it being an expensive one and is young ish and will add creative and flair and goals. If we doubt he can make the step up then at worst we have a very good magician at championship level. Maybe we could have a view on selling them hugill cheap next year if we stay up? Sinani this year loan? Olisa from reading. This player and another from reading ejaih ? Or similar ones a Liverpool academy graduate and the other really has shone this year. Another season for both at them like last year and they will be gone. So a chance to get in now before they get higher values. Suits the mold of young player farke could really bring on so they would surely wish to come, as well as.premiwr league chance. Reading I've of thought would expect to sell this year or next. EMI type replacements in terms of what either could bring to the team, but probably a more expensive option on this list. Messi. Free agent. If he feels like he wants to try knock Wessi off his legendary place as well as Emi putting a good word in, will anyone chip in with me for his flight over? Peace and love ✌️
  20. Jesus man, this is a second dig at me on the topic without me replying, give me a chance! And Im not trying to moan, I am moaning, but maybe Im looking at it through yellow and green specs and thinking he is worth more to us than the 33m, which I accept is a slightly different point. But all the same, by the majority of posters who have commented, most of which I respect their opinions on, it looks as if I'll have to concede and admit to being 'wrong' on this one! ... But also, @PockthorpePete, lay off me... Binner ;)
