NN Find me a post where I have referred to another poster as a happy clapper. I respect everyone''s opinion including yours. Yes I might disagree, but isn''t that what discussion is for? Isn''t that what we call a democracy, freedom of speech? Obviously not. You have NO IDEA of my background and what I stood for and stand for, but I have a good idea of yours. Just to sign off NN, I wasn''t looking for allocades at all, I gave an honest opinion that I had concerning a forthcoming result in the premiership! I was right. I gave an honest opinion I held concerning forthcoming results of NCFC, which at the time you did not agree with. I was wrong and your argument correct. I held no animosity for that. Yes I am one of the older generation supporters, but I would suggest that as far back as I can go, (1958-59 cup run) there has ALWAYS been expectation, be it unrealistic or rest realistic. I would suggest that every supporter of every club believes at the start of a season their club will do well, get promoted, win a cup and be a joy to watch and behold! I come from a long background of city support, my great grandfather, grandfather, dad and mother all supported city, just as my children do, and their children will, and they will always have that speciation. Without it, why are we watching the sport!? I rightly appreciate that the pups, and you, deserve all the allocades, snd I admire fully what you do, and are striving to achieve. Really spit on JS: I was at the game and see it exactly as you say, especially point 4 and 5. Hoots bangs on out possession, and we are very adept at passing it across the middle and back to the defenders, but there really is no outlet at all going forward, Hooper looked dreadful yesterday, but quite simply he had nothing going for him, and when he did try to make the runs and space we missed the objective pass. Possession is no good if the end result is appears to happen in 90% of our game time . I also do not see a win v Cardiff, only a draw, and I cannot see us putting together a run like last season and that can only mean one thing! Confidence among the players looks rock bottom to me, Hopper and a Ruddy were livid leaving the park yesterday, and too many heads are down and there is a reason for it!

Sorry Jas, but were you there today - we had two shots on goal all game, we had possession, yes, but always sideways and backwards - Snoddy and Pilkington did nothing, which in turn meant Hooper hardly, and I mean hardly kicked the ball - he looked thoroughly pissed off. Now we had improved a bit in attacking style of late, but our defending was just awful, and I mean awful, and that was one area of our game that most thought Hughton had put right! We look jaded and inept in ideas, and we do not look like a premiership side at all, and even at this stage of the season I have to say I fear the worst. Last season we gave the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, spurs and united a run for their money. Today we were not at the races, and Hughton simply cannot keep saying how much better teams are than us and how much quality they have etc etc - we have to compete, we have to make chances and we have to score goals to win games. We had/have strikers who could/can score goals, but tactically we do not give them the ball at any time. I am sorry to bleat on, but Holty it appears to me was right when he criticised our set up after leaving. There is something wrong in the make up of the team and the way they are being asked to play, results say so consistently in the last season and a quarter. We need another ten game run this season because if we don''t we will be in the championship next. It was soul destroying watching that again today.

Break the man in two and he would bleed yellow and green, a great great club man and professional who gave everything for the cause and took no prisoners. Fantastic memories abound of big Dunc - my thoughts are with you and your family at such a difficult time.
