1. Yes 1-0 down in the first half with 40 mins Gone.   But we are playing well! We are showing honesty, commitment, good paaassssing. We know where were at! FOR GOD SAKE WHAT NEXT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2. so that will be 1 point from 10th, or 7 points from 10th on Saturday at 5pm?   Errrrrrrrrr? I think we can beat HULL, but then again after the season so far.... I don''t know.   Maybe if we lob it up to eanry he might get a lucky bounce and then run on to score, Yes ... I can see it now. HULL 4 Norwich 1. Cheers all Negative but true!!
3. ONLY if they pass to him ON THE FLOOR!!!   Stop playing the bl**dy long ball rubbish!   He''s a little like Owen, needs the supply from midfild and wings.   Cheers
4. Same, S**t, Different, Day !!!   AGAIN!!!   Season ticket holder, only missed 2 games at home all season.   We can''t pass the ball, We Go Long to much, We have Earny and Mcviegh (the two match sponsors), long ball is no good at all for them! Its the same old stuff that has been said all season long. NOBODY can come on this forum and say that out of all our midfielders of : JARRET, HUGHES, ETUHU, ROBINSON, SAFRI, MCVIEGH. that not one of them can PLAY-MAKE the ball. They have all come from half decent sides, they have had time to gel. To me its the ''same old, same old'' tatics - Sit TOO DEEP, Midfielders just in front of defense, Too many floating back spinning long balls from dury and the Doc, Lets give it to Hucks - hes a God and can beat them all, so don''t bother helping him either, Lets all go over to one side like sunday league teams and let the goaly kit it up to a target man be it thorne or Johanson. SORRY if its getting boring but this is what has happen all season. You all know it, its been posted around 150 times. We all moan and want worthy out, or nearly out, or, ''well hes won us the title'' so he must be ok still. I am at a loss, I''m fed up, Worthy will be here to the end of the season, we will finish 10th. Lets hope next season is better.   Perhaps we should get NEIL ADAMS for the manager, his post match rant was quite good on Sunday. What could be worse?   Cheers All
5. Weve just spent 3 million on a NAMED striker and the first thing that comes out is negative.   If we would have signed owen, beckham, Henry ....   YOU WOULD STILL MOAN!!!
6.
I couldn''t agree more. Earnshaw is the spark to explode Norwich''s Season back into play off hopes!!!
Cheers ..... Tom_NCFC   We know it makes sense. Roll-on Ipshit game!
7. NO NO NO   You are wrong!   Earnshaw is the NAME that a lot of Norwich Fans need. If they would have bought a load of nobodies or loans then he would have people like yourself all over ''em Earnshaw is: Quick, Shows passion for the game (which is what we are lacking a lot of), proven striker and can score in the prem. Yes he''s not the best looking bloke and his celedrations are a bit too much BUT so what! I''m not GAY and if he''s scores I don''t care what he does after the goal. This move MAY, just may give us a play-off spot. And a final at Wembley with Earny scoreing the winner. I''ll settle for that any day! p.s. i''ll cheer every goal he scores as well! Cheers
8. YES YES YES!!!!!!   We have earny!!!!   Well done..... about time!!!! Worthy must have read my, and other fans listings. Beware - Palace, Leeds, Watford, SHf Utd. Were coming up!!!
9. For gods sake ....   Ashton was over priced and so apparently is Earnshaw.   But is he?  Scored loads of goals, quick, proven and can score in the Prem as Well.  Great If we go up via the play-offs.   Signing Earnshaw is the ''Name'' that a lot of people/fans would love to see. Not some nobody or up and coming  player. IF we get earnshaw, then with the old parnership of Thorne and Earnshaw, and maybe then Mackensie and earnshaw WILL get us a play-off spot.   SPEND THE MONEY WORTHY b4 someone else comes in for him like Palace did for Morrison!!! I know a lot of Norwich fans who think that this is a good move. As for ''The Wizard''s'' comments .... Stop moaning at everything, if you don''t like it then go support Chelsea! Come on get him down here NOW!!!
10. YES YES YES!!!!   Well done james1966   I think the same as you!!! Why do we always buy a waste of money, a new boy, a so called young and hungry for less than 1.5 million.   Come on, excite MOST fans and buy a NAMED player like huckerby! Someone we all know!!! Not some bloke from cholchester!!! or Peterbourgh!!! Why do we always aim so low!!! You are about right .... Kevin Lisbie here we come!!!
11. I know ... I know ....   Sorry getting a bit pissed off with it all ....   Just want a quality player!!! Don''t want worthy to waste the money or get nobody before the end of the window.   As a season ticket holder, I have been very disapointed with the same old kick a rush football this season. Too much long ball.   Too much gree kicking it out to a crowded bunch of sunday league blokes all hearding like cattle on one side of the pitch. WOULDN''T IT GREAT TO SEE GREEN KICK THE BALL THE OTHER WAY. AND THEN WATCH THEM ALL RUN FOR IT !!! Bl**dy Hell worthy buy someone decent!!!! (should have tried to keep Helveg, would have been a great captain in defense. He would have sorted the defense problem out! -5 goal diference so far this year .... its crap!)
12. I''m sick of Norwich looking at players from Southend, Colchester, Coventry etc ....... For God''s sake, please buy some names ....   We came down from the Prem last year! We are not a small club, but not a Liverpool, but we can attract some class acts in their later years.   We did in the past, we can again!!!   Why not try and get: J Koumas, R Fowler, M Harewood, C Sutton etc ................... THERE"S PLENTY of solid proven names out there. We just always have to get the bargain player fro 500k or less. We never spend (with ashton as a exception) a lot on a player. He always has to be ethier: 1.. a REJECT FROM HIS CURRENT TEAM - eg. Robinson/Jarrett/Docherty/Hughes/Wright etc ... 2. or a up and coming star from the lower leagues, not yet proven and at times lacking in quality and final ball class. Eg. Mckensie/Easton .... and any other boy that Worthy is looking at for around 1million. Lastly .... is this bloke from Cardiff really worth 3.5 million? I''v never really heard of him before.     I know its alll Moan, moan , moan   But I think a lot of people will agreee that what money worthy has will be spent on up and coming or rejects. Never spent on stars! Cheers
13. How about a bid for Marlon Harewood????   Looked good in the FA cup game.   Good for the Championship.   Get him for under £ 3 million?   Need a flare player in midfield as well like Koumas, Sheringham, etc ... Got solid players just no ideas or invention.   Cheers
14. Thanks now I know why you mentioned the Taxi.   I can remember it now!     Cheers
15. We only will win the game if:   1.   Green punts the ball to Ashton who flicks it onto little''ol Mcviegh (the match sponsor) who then       tries to get past 3 tall defenders. 2. The Doc comes upfront with Ashton and tries to head the ball in form a corner if the ball beats     the first man that is. 3.  We pass it to huckerby again who has three or four defenders marking him, and NO Norwich players       Helping him. He doesn''t need help he is a God, and can just float past the defenders and score every time. 4.  We decide to have safri or Hughes or Robinson play a bit in midfield and push forward resulting in a major      match deciding move. This one, two or even three pass move is a rare thing only preveiously seen in the      good old days when Norwich and west ham were the passing sides of the football league. 5.   They score a own goal. 6.   Ashton does it all on his own from midfield with no support and wholopes one in the top corner. Yes I go to every home game. Yes we played the old stuff against Southampton and at times with Burnley but never enough for me. The preston games just shows that without Aston as a target, or Safri/Hughes/Robinson/Holt/Francis/Mulryen/ and another winger like Harper/Fox/Gordon/D.Eddie etc we can''t pass the ball along the ground.   I love city and am pleased that we won the last 5 out of 6 games but unless we buy a midfielder or two and play the short ball/crossing game we will not finish in the play-offs. Cheers
16.
No chance - taxi for Johnson...
What is this about then? What did he do back then? Cheers
17. Hi there   This is on the Sky Sports site ...Andy Johnson  to leave West Brom .... but to where?   Can''t remember if he left us in good terms or not, or what the fans and club think of him but .... I think he''s a good player .... Could be a good player in midfield and has played for us before.   Check the website: http://home.skysports.com/transfernews.asp?type=article&id=350743 Any opinions????????????
18. YES The reason is, IMO   He is a proven midfielder with preston. He is a Midfielder and we lack them at present. He is Tall He is better than a lot of other crap out there! And Why not ... One bad game doesn''t mean that you are no good.   Give him a chance, It seems that we dismiss a lot of players too soon before they can settle in, (eg. Helveg was dropped for edworthy, look at Helveg''s record! AC Milan and Inter Imlan for 9 years! But can''t get in a norwich team. What does that say!)(not too mention: Jarrett/Hughes/Thorne - these were class players at their old clubs!) Yes I went today to the preston game and we were crap! But Etuhu should have been played more as an attacking midfielder, at times he was on the wing! At one moment he shrugged his sholders and held up his arms as too say '' weres my support? what am I doing on the wing? Henderson should have been on the wing. ANY WAY I VOTE YES Cheers
19. Well just got back from London trip at Christmas. No Snow in London. (bonus)   Didn''t go to Sheffield Utd. Game or Burley at Home. (only 2nd game I''ve missed for a long time.) Thanks for the current replies .... Reference your thoughts.....   1. Where does Neil Adams and the crew think Ashton is going? 2. A win at home against Burley is good. Still don''t think that a top ten finish will help the Ashton issue though. He as good as gone. 3. Keep on going .... Its a long way to 2nd spot but its only halfway through the season. As long as we win I don''t care much more who''s in charge, If we want worthy out it will never happen. So whatever goes .... Cheers for the replies
20. Well, well, well!   Yes - I was one of many who said worthy should go a few weeks back. Yes - I watch every home game and we still look poor at times Yes - The second 45mins versus the Saints was the best for a long time. (but the saints were poor) SO ..... Is this the start of a great winning or unbeaten run that will get us in the: A> Playoffs?     B> Catch Sheffield Utd? (we have no chance of Reading they are the Norwich, Sunderland, Man City of the past years) OR ..... Is this just a lucky streak? Is this so called mind thearpy bloke really working at the club, making the players bond. Confidence must be high now that we have beaten the Saints and S. utd at their Home! the so-called unbeatable blades! I myself  HOPE its a winning/unbeaten run going to the end of the season, we can beat anybody in the league when we play football, and we now have the confidence. The only problem I can see now is - ASHTON, surley he will go to a big prem club. If he goes to west brom/portsmouth/Birmingham then hes a fool. It must be Man city/Everton/Bolton etc.. This may mean we struggle for goals again? Who can we buy? who will come? As for GREEN ... I hope he leaves. Hes had a great time at Norwich but its now effecting his World Club ambitions. If he''s in the Prem then Sven will pick him. If not then James will go instead. We still have good keepers. AS for HUCKS ... I think he''ll stay. We love Hucks, and he knows it. He''s not like he use to be , but he''s older now.  At Norwich he''s a star. At Liverpool etc .. he''s just another name. ..... Just a few little points for the new year. Any thoughts??????????????? Cheers
21. We need a BIG NAME replacement!!! Not so up and coming idiot from Div 3. We have a big crowd, some good players (can''t think who at present though) and a great ground. We will atract loads of offers. It MUST be someone new from outside who will change our stlye so that the oposition don''t know what to expect. We are too protictable at present! COME ON NIGEL .... show yourself the door...... bye
22.
Let me remind those with dim memories that Worthy took us into the Premiership with a Centre Half ( Doherty ) as our main striker and a diminuitive left back ( Charlton ) as our Centre Half . In other words he failed to replace Malky and Iwan . Is this the sign of a good manager when you know the start you get in the Premiership is all important ( ask Wigan and Sunderland ) ? We were the first club to know we were in the Premiership , yet when the season kicked off we were totally unprepared to meet the challenge ahead . Let me also say that i get fed up with the excuses that we have had a lot of injuries - yes , but so have almost every other club . I also cannot buy the " we are suffering a fall out from going down " - So what about Palace and Southampton then . They had the same fate yet are much better placed than us .How many of our team against Derby were regular with us last year ?- only three . It really is time to stop offering excuses for what is a bad manager who has made a succession of bad buying and selection decisions . We are approaching the moment of truth in the transfer window when what is left of our team will be picked off in the transfer window. Prepare yourself for relegation because that''s where we are going with Worthy.
Spot on mate !!!! If worthy doesn''t leave and a NEW BIG NAME MANAGER comes in to inspire Deano, Hucks, Hughes, etc and get rid of the dead wood, Mcveigh, flemming,Brenan, Charlton, Dury, then we will lose Deno, Green etc... ANd be fighting for our lives! Look at the table it doesn''t lie... We are below HULL!!!! and they we Crap at carrow road! SSDD
23. For me it was ..... 1. Not being able to win a game for around 11 prem games. Having to wear RED shorts under your clothes to help us beat Southampton!!! 2. Not  KNOWING how to beat a team away from home, which has carried on this year. 3. We won the Champ in 2003/4 from our excellent home record of 20 wins 3 draws and 2 loses. We only won about 8 - 11 away I think. FOR ME ITS BEEN THE AWAY FORM ALL ALONG. WE JUST A HAD A GOOD SPELL WITH HUCKERBY AND CROUCH/ HARPER IN 2003/04 WHICH WON US THE TITLE. NOBODY KNEW HOW TO PLAY AGAINST HUCKS PACE. They all do now!
24. ''We know where we''re at!'' Yes and your''ve know it for a while .... Crap!
25. I love your comments ... very similar to my post today: ''Time to get the christmas party hat''. I too love the club and will stick by them, But ... I also have the same ''chuckle'' to myself when we go 1 - 0 down, and I also don''t see us beating anybody else until the management team goes. Its about time the board started listening to the fans and done somthing about this joke of a footballing side. I just saw the FA cup draw ... at home to the Hammers! Well, well the old hammers ... remember when people use to say ''good passing sides norwich and west ham... that will be a tight and good game to watch'' Norwich good at passing ... not at the minute they aren''t. Lets all lob it up to Deano again shall we! With West ham playing well in the Prem. God help us. Well we do have a little chance ... because we are at Home. Fortress Carrow Road! SSDD. (same sh*t different day!) Good posting .... cheers
