  1. Was surprised to learn the other day they have the 6th highest wage bill in the Prem, but when you look at that list it is easy to see why!!
  2. 😂 Probably more useful explaining it to Bill himself rather than his small boating oar. When calling somebody thick, probably best not to spell the next simple 5 letter word that most children could spell, wrong.
  3. Theres some right Wâš“s about. Imagine buying a shirt specifically to exploit fellow City fans. Disgusting.
  4. The images will still exist, they're not banning the cameras. The galleries will just be on the Pinkun and official site instead of Twitter etc. Won't make an iota of difference to the coverage unless you exclusively use social media to keep up with things.
  5. I don't think anyone was condescending to fans who don't live in Norwich. I've never lived closer than 120 miles away. Currently about 180 which has been the average for most of my life. The point was about the plastic fans supporting the big teams just because they're successful, not about the distance. I don't think I've ever been called a glory hunter supporting Norwich tbh.
  6. There's a social media boycott, not a media boycott. Very different.
  7. They're wearing it against Reading - says that in the article.
  8. Yeah that's the rumour but it does seem that there is a lot of fire to that particular smoke, so is probably right
  9. I know - pretty much mint condition too as it's been in a frame. It's a beauty but £80 is steep for any footy shirt imo.
  10. I just got one - The wait wasn't as long as advertised, and I just left it open in a tab. 9-10 minutes I waited but it said 22 to start with
  11. This one is on Ebay at the moment but it's up for £80 and I can't justify that for it. If it was closer to £50 I'd grab it.
  12. Got the top one, the second is a sore point because I bought one but it was waaaaaay too small and not seen another come up for sale - its in the wish list though. Third is too plain for me. The other I have is this one...
  13. I quite like it but I'm a huge fan of shirts that are a bit out there - the 90s was the golden era of kit design in my book (although Errea have produced some great kits over the last decade to be fair). I've got a couple of retro Norwich Goalie shirts from the 90s that I wear to games periodically
  14. It needs to be done at FIFA level and it needs to include a salary cap. It's the only way to get football back to any kind of sensible footing. Yes that's a huge undertaking and requires compliance across all leagues which it would need FIFA intervention. It would essentially be the next logical step of financial fair play - Give every club a 5 year window to get within compliance - wages must not exceed £80million per year (only the big 6, Everton and Palace exceed that currently in the Prem). Maximum spend of £80mill in transfer fees in any given year. Salary cap varies by country depending on the revenue of the league. Football would be so much better for it.
  15. Not sure I agree. Maybe not expulsion from the league, but starting next season with a 20point deduction, a massive 8 figure fine (all fine money redistributed equally as a windfall throughout the other teams in the PL), and a 2 year transfer embargo strikes me as being a reasonable punishment without killing them off entirely and without detracting from the PL brand. There's little I would like more than to see "fans" of the big 6 suffer though to be fair. It's not like 95% of them are even proper footie fans anyway and it would be amusing to watch them disappear in their droves when faced with a tiny bit of adversity. No doubt Liverpool fans would blame everybody else and claim that everything was skewed against them specifically though.
  16. He's phenomenal. I met him briefly on the day of the promotion parade 2 years ago and he came across as a really genuine, decent guy too. He was 20 mins late but changed direction to come and have a chat with me before he went in. For me, he's the best keeper I've ever seen in a city shirt, he's just exceptional and the penalty record is a massive bonus and quite unbelievable. NCFC Numbers on Twitter posted yesterday that of the last FOUR penalties Tim has faced, he has conceded 0 goals and we've gone on to win all 4 of those matches. I said to my mate yesterday, I genuinely don't worry when we concede pens because although the global conversion rate is about 75-80%, I always feel it's more of a 50-50 with Tim in goal, and the stats seem to support that. Their keeper 100% handled it outside the area. It wasn't even close, he was about a yard outside. Fortunately, it didn't matter yesterday but if the game had been tighter I would have been pretty annoyed!
  17. Yet you insist on consistently cherry picking simplistic statistics to "prove" your point. Black men shot dead by police are twice as likely to be unarmed as white people shot dead by police - that is a statistic that is a direct comparison and rates of offending has no bearing upon it. Why do police choose to use lethal force on unarmed black men twice as often as unarmed white people if there is no systemic racism (conscious or otherwise)? The point which clearly went over your head was why are they more likely to commit crime? The answer is poverty. Why is poverty so endemic amongst black communities in the USA? That'll be the structural racism you absolutely refuse to give any credence to. The typical black family has 10% of the wealth of the typical white family in the USA. Here's another one for you (using data from 1.2 million 911 calls). White police officers more likely to use a gun than black officers. The more black people in a neighbourhood, the more likely the white officers are to use a gun. Can you explain that one away?
  18. So how many unarmed white guys have they arrested by pinning them down like that then? You're full of ****. If he was white he would have been put calmly into the car and you know that as well as anyone else. The police do not treat black and white people in the same way and the justice system doesn't either. You're deluded if you think otherwise.
  19. Yep, he's a beast on both counts. Would be a phenomenal addition.
  20. Not sure what they're complaining about when they get to watch silky football like this each game.
  21. Sincerely hope that as I type, Chauvin is being introduced to his new 6'6 black cell mate whose hobbies are weightlifting and violence.
  22. Just wish Minnesota had the death penalty.
