1. Probably Webb and Livermore too. I can''t see Hunter going, not so soon.
 2.
in short the answer is no i won''t. we have shown the true level of our ambition and frankly it stinks.......... dublin is garbage
Of course, he''s garbage. Doesn''t matter you''ve never even seen him play yet or even been to training as LQ has to see him, he''s garbage. People who make such sweeping moronic comments without even having seen him play are just showing themselves up. Let''s wait and see how he settles here.
 3. Jon Parkin for me. He''s not the biggest of names, but he''s one of the biggest players, and I think he''d be an invaluable acquisition to this football club.
 4. Not for me. Primus is a past it defender, when Shackell and Doherty are alot younger and are getting better as a partnership.I''d rather stick with what we got to be honest.
 5.
Did you also know that 85% of statistics are made up on the spot? [*-)]
I was only 73% sure of that.
 6. Posted on the OS forum by Lincoln Canary; http://www.ifforums.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=3124 Might have to register so; NORWICH CITY are preparing to splash the cash this summer, in a bid to try and return to the Premiership. Nigel Worthington, who has come under fire a lot recently, due to poor performances, and an unexpected finish outside the play off places, has decided that the area of the team that needs strengthening the most is midfield. It has rumoured that the Canaries have already agreed a £750,000 deal for QPR midfielder Lee Cook. The Canaries have struggled this season to make an impression, currently lying 9th in the table with one game of the Championship season remaining. The midfield catalyst has not performed as well as Worthington would have liked, with only Moroccan Youssef Safri being able to create something in that area of expertise. It is this problem therefore that has made the Canaries eager to sign up Cook. He has been instrumental in QPR’s hopes for a good finish this season, playing in 34 games and scoring 6 goals. QPR’s Gary Waddock has already insisted that he is keen to keep the midfielder, however admitted that if the Canaries, or other rumoured clubs Sheffield United and Wolves did come knocking, he would be powerless to stop the midfielder from leaving. “I will not want to let him go because he is a quality player,” said Waddock. “But we all know the financial situation of the football club and if a big offer does come in for Lee Cook then money does talk.” Norwich however, are rumoured to have already made a bid for Cook, and it seems like that he will be visiting Carrow Road for contract talks within the next week Thoughts?
 7.
NCFC the alternative view, You are just another spin merchant, 18/18 what a load of crap and how do you like this one 6/27 yep thats away from home. So this gives a total of 24/45 which doesnt even equal 2 points per game, this would mean no playoffs next season. This is not a new problem and has been here for the whole of his time in charge. Wake up smell the coffee we cannot play away under this man.
One man''s spin is another man''s truth. And half of 45 is 22.5 - which is less than 24.
 8.
The manager will be changed at some stage so who says its futile?  With an inevitability that another man will eventually manage the club which is the futile challenge? Where would Poland have been if lech Walesa had taken the well the russian have been here a while and we are surviving approach?  Or the pamkhursts and the female vote?   No this is not on the same scale but the same principal applies. I no longer beleive that worthy can do what this club needs to get it established in the prem (my stated aim from last Oct), not re-promoted but as a force in the prem.   He is bereft of ideas and is unlikely to complete the task of getting us repromoted having squandered the biggest budgets ever given to a cty manager. A couple of wins at the end of a poor season where we have been so uncompetetive game after game makes us finishing 7th an irrelevance (and I am very confident that we will finish the season with 3 consecutive wins)
ZLF; As you say he isn''t the man to get us established in the Prem (an opinion I neither agree nor disagree with), would you say he''s the man to get us out of this division? I think it''s important to remember that we''re far from being an established Premiership side. We could do a West Brom - successfully change our manager to be relegated the next season.
 9.
If getting behind the team was left to you ktf lot they would play to a silent ground week in week out . You cannot even sing up for the manager you all love so much  ....
Don''t be daft. There are as many ardent KTFers as there are WOers - probably the 70-100 who join in the protests. The rest of the ground just follow in the moment. 1 & 2-0 down vs QPR and the "WOers" suddenley start singing for Worthy out. When Huckerby got one back, everyone started singing for the team again - and look what happened. It''s exasperating.
 10.

I won''t reiterate what I''ve written in my blog (which, by the way, people are welcome to make comments on here or on the site), but surely now you realise the futility of working for the removal of a manager who has shown at least the starting signs of a turn around?
Thats your opinion, unfortunately the vast majority of fans made their opinion known at the last home game against QPR, where we were dire for most of the match. Your blog is full of contradictions as already hilighted. The truth is, Worthington had the best financial support of any manager in this division and did not come even close to making the playoffs let alone winning automatic promotion. To spin this as acceptable is simply stupid. He has failed badly for the last 2 seasons. WORTHY OUT.
Mmm. So on that, Chelsea - who have the best financial support for any manager in the world - should sack Jose Mourinho for not winning the Champions League and FA Cup? He has hardly failed badly last season. Failing badly would be doing a Sunderland. You, like so many Norwich fans, held an exaggerated expectation for last season. The season would''ve been a success if we finished 17th, and we missed out on that by one (albeit hideous 6-0 mauling) match.
 11. Concerning the contradictions, if you care to read the passage, I do explain that this is a points game and that based on this points game, Norwich have been pretty decent achieveing 18 points/ 18. That''s not a contradiction, that''s a statistical fact which you cannot dispute. And that is the basis of my argument; this is a game ran on statistics, and the statistics show simply too good a return to fault the manager. Those of you who think that performances will be taken into account are naieve. And Tim, I apologise if you can''t understand basic insinuation - perhaps you read what you want to read instead of following my line of thought.

This manager has spent 5 million quid this season, unyet our defense cannot defend a corner or set peice!!!
Yes, but we''ve also won 6 on the trot at home and beaten Cardiff at Ninian Park. How many managers can you remember sacked after a run like that?

 14.

God I hope they win thus stopping that fat, lazy, not as useless at West Ham, only scores when a transfer window is open strker Ashton getting in the final! Funny how Earnie has scored 7 in 12 playing hoofball, where as this buffoon managed just 1 in 18 bar a hat trick just after the transfer window opened. Did''nt get chances my anus he did''nt care! Come on Borough stop him getting to the final!
Haha, you''re talking b*ll*cks you know. I smell your bitter scent and it isnt pretty. Just makes me laugh, if you really dont like Ashton then dont dig up old graves, i think he is a legend. He has been brilliant at West Ham hence the talk of an England call up, not "not as useless". Yousherrrup
Oh purlease. Ashton, a legend? The man jumped ship first chance he got after half a season of playing half arsed. Hell, he practically announced his intent to leave after the MK Dons match just a few days after the close of the transfer window! As for the talk of the England call up, that was after the Man City performance, where he played very well - but otherwise West Ham fans have been a bit frustrated at someone aged 22 who looks so unfit and slow and lazy that they''ve been calling for a recall for Zamora. More than anything, Ashton is far from a City legend. Chris Sutton, Iwan Roberts, Darren Huckerby - those are City legends of the recent times and Ashton doesn''t even compare slightly to the commitment, loyalty and return these players gave us.
 15. Just finished writing an article on Leon, and wondering what people thought of him. Is he an essential part of our first team, or do you think he doesn''t quite "fit"?
 16.

My instinctive feelings when we were 2-0 down was ''here we go again''...mixed with ''good this could be the beginning of the end''. My instinctive feelings when we finally won were of incrdulity and I confess disappointment...because it means the end might not now come. Anybody else have those feelings? Should i feel guilt?
ill hold my hands up and agree with you that i felt exactly the same, and have done for some time. (take one step back to take two steps forward) And i must admit that it is horrible feeling like this because ofcourse we all want norwich to win but for the good of our club we can''t move on until he goes and he can take the crap he''s bought this year with him. I know for a fact that many of other supporters feel the same.
Disagree. I think today was a huge step forward and testament to what the team can do.
 17. Don''t they wind you up? Problem is I got a RSS Feeder on my webblog so every time I see the blog my eyes home in the spelling mistake which I can''t fix! Hurry up and fix it!
 18. As a University goer who semi-regularly goes clubbing, does this make me a semi-regular drug addict? Despite the fact I''ve never taken any? Better get myself down to narcotics annoyomous
 19.
To be honest SC, you would be ill advised to be surprised at the few replies you,ve had from KTF''s on the subject.  IMHO they do not feel it is a statistic that will prove or disprove any thing, for while the majority are obviously not happy about the football produced by the present team.  They are not likely to blame Worthy for the dross we have witnessed of late.  Also there is no evidence that will convince us that sacking this manager will lead us to procure the services of a high profile proven manager for the sort of figures we will be prepared to pay.  We could also be better off with the underperforming manager we know than invest in someone who on paper has charisma but no prove credentials in the championship.
What a top class post. And if you don''t mind, I''ll be quoting it in my blog ;) Top, top post.
 20.
Leaving everything else aside bad signings, appalling tatics, style of play....etc....i want you to come on here (and any other head in the sand KTFer) and defend this statistic. 5 wins in 40 league away games....come on defend it i would be very interested to hear your case. This IMO is inexcusable and as a stand alone statistic makes his position untennable !!
It''s impossible to defend. It''s simply not good enough. But football isn''t just about away games. It''s also about home fixtures, and our home form has been impressive, very impressive. I''m confident that with patience, hard work and some luck we can transform our home form to our away form as well and with that see a great turnaround in our final position. Remember, we are still 11th, and that is achieved on home form alone. So there must be something in this team. I think our problem is confidence. Get that sorted, get on a nice run at the start of next season and I''m confident we can eradicate that statistic to the rubbish tip of history, to quote Trotsky.
 21.

Ive read your comments and this is what i think "You say "one bad season" well what about last season.  How can you justify that last season was anything but a failure.  WE GOT RELAGATED - REMEMBER !!!!!!!!! I''m sick to the back teeth of so called fans like you as you epitomise everything that is wrong with the fabric of this club.  In a word A LACK OF AMBITION.  I have been supporting this club for nion 30 years and this has been the most disappointing and depressing season i can remember.  So desperate am i for a change that i have resorted to wanting my beloved Norwich City lose every match since about February.  Yes, a whole third of a season and i blame Nigel Worthingtons ineptitude and repugnant style of football for this. Football at this club is dead at the moment and will be until the board wakes up and does its job - that being the routing out of NW and his stooges. Bring back football to CR and let the good times roll again" !
Don''t know who you''re talking to, but thanks for inspiration for an article for my blog tomorrow. Look out for it.
Thank you for the post Sussex Canary. I''ve now completed my blog article on it.
 22. Actually Pete, the KTFers are the ones that can look beyond what has gone wrong to what has gone right. They are hardly senile, they can simply see a bigger picture. To quote Rudyard Kipling, we can keep our heads while all those around us are losing theirs. And I''m very much still here, and continuing to write my KTFer blog
