1. I have a simple question in regard to these "stories" Does the club/players approach the pinkun/media with these stories or are they a result of the journalists approaching the players and writing a story based on the news of the day. (pinkun mods feel free to send this question to those who write stories for the pinkun)
2. The excellent story published by the pikun "Contracts ''in line with best practice''  by Chris Lakey from the front page. What is Neil Doncaster hiding? Although its often never discussed exactly what  players financial terms are I have never known it to be a secret of the length of the contract. The lengths of players contracts are openly discussed all the time. Worthy is an employee of the club just the same as any footballer. Why should he be exempt when the players are not. What kind of PR bunk is "in line with bets practices" Sorry Neil, you sound like a good guy but sometimes its best to say "no comment" rather than try and spin the fans. Nice job by the pinkun/chris lakey for putting up this important story.
3. Its pretty obvious the deal is somewhat "under the table" Although it doesn`t appear to break any rules as such it without doubt circumvents the spirit of the rules. Their chairman came out and said FIFA may change the rules if people make these type of deals blatent. Its a way to get around the transfer window and other teams in our division may not be happy that we can do this.
4.
Couldn''t agree more, Navman. The reason the general mood on here amongst posters is negative, is largely due to the fact that people who want a positive outlook, give up whilst the negs stay around.
The whole point is that there is little positive to say about the team at the moment. Personally I think we have a good squad of players who should be up in the playoff positions at least. I think they lack leadership/belief/direction and the correct tactical skills to get the best out of them. The best managers can take little talent and have success. IMHO our manager has taken good talent and had little success. Thats not negative or positive but factual.
5. He does look a good signing but lets wait to see how he does before we start to celebrate. Still not sure why he was not playing regually for a struggling Preston side.
6. If RM is saying at no time did any of the board discuss the possibility of the removal of Worthy during the recent bad run then frankly I just don`t believe it. When Delia and he husband released their statement its obvious they would have talked about it with at least one other board member. To release the statement means they must have discussed/thought about the "situation" in some form.
7. I think the EDP/Pinkun should pick up on this story. What are we doing at the break to put things right? Is this what Worthy meant by rolling up the sleeves and working harder? Anybody at the training ground who can confirm if the players have actually trained this week at all?
8. This is a simple question. There have been many reports this week of "lack of training" , nobody in at the training ground and Worthy seen in Manchester ect ect. Can you confirm that in the midst of a terrible run that the players and managment have been given time off from training and for how long? I think this is a story that the Pinkun/EDP should investigate.
9. nice post Kevin before the QPR game their manager had a little "dig" at us saying we had got into a losing habit. That annoyed Worthington but the truth is their manager was right. We are expecting to lose. Fans, players and mangement alike. It stems from last year when we tried to just survive instead of believing that we could win. IMHO the only choice is a new regime to change the attitude and the tactics employed. BTW if it is "the" Kevin Keelen we were actually related at one time. I also currently live in the US (midwest)
10.
Nice reply on my behalf, Slim. What is it with people on these boards whereby it is seen as perfectly fine to desert the team, but a cardinal sin to be positive and loyal to our club?
Well everything is great then in Dickys world. Anytime a player plays badly, no matter for how long, we should never drop him because that would not be loyal or positive. The players played great against Wolves. No problems at all. (uh huh!) Dicky your notion that because someone disagrees with how the club is being run that they are disloyal is almost laughable. People who don`t care, don`t say anything.
11. I also heard that only the players who required treatment were in. Is this what Worthington meant by "working harder" to put things right. Reward everybody by taking time off when the time could be use productively to try and put things right. This is becoming a total (bleeping) joke. How the board can stand by and say nothing is beyond words. I feel sorry for the loyal fans who travel home and away, spending their hard earned money. Their loyality should not be a sign that the majority support what is going on.
12.
Another loyal supporter
Thats it Dicky, carry on blaming the fans for being upset. First Worthy says "I don`t care what the fans think" Then he is "upset" because of people posting stuff on internet message boards that most people will never read.  (I thought he said he didn`t care!) All just spin to try a deflect the heat from the real problems with management.  The poll did not lie, most Norwich fans want Worthy out.
13. from the Worthy post match interview was when he was asked what he needed to do to turn the "situation" around he had no idea. Completely clueless. That about sums it up. Unless a change is made soon this will get very very ugly.
14. Lets see, we can`t score and are shipping goals I would say that is relegation form. Maybe we can bring up the injuries except that wolves outclassed us with quite afew of their better players missing. Maybe we can bring up missed chances except we hardly troubled wolves at all. Time for a change in mangement NOW.
15. I think this a great point. Thats why they call them defensive partnerships. Certain player complement others. I think we should seriously think of making a run at signing Davenport. The trouble is its probably a no win situation. If he plays really well then the price goes up and others will be interested.
16.
500 to 1000 in demo - there were not even 50. Try and keep some credibility.
Dicky, has it gotten so bad that we should blame the fans for the results on the field. Blaming the fans for booing AFTER the game was over is a typical responce from the Worthy apologists. I notice you never even mentioned the great support during the game. The apologists have nothing positive left to say about Worthy or the performances so they resort to attacking those who "dare" to stand up and be counted. The polls or the fans don`t lie. The vast majority of Norwich fans want a change in management.
17. Maybe I am slightly skeptical but we have seen a lot of these posts from posters with 1 or 2 total posts. The facts are I listened to the whole game today and the fans were nothing but magnificent. If the players cannot respond to that support playing a pretty poor Shef Wed side then its further evidence that changes are needed. Its simply ridiculous to blame the fans because they booed after the game was over. Some of these people want to blame everybody but the management. How Worthington was so upbeat in the post match interview I have no idea. I have genuine fears that unless imediate action is taken we are going to get relegated.
18.
Like many of you, I first became addicted to The Pinkun.com message boards during the will he / wont he sign for us Darren Huckerby saga late in 2003. Apart from a brief flutter ''posting'' on the site ...
I want to thank you for your emotive reply. Again I agree with those who say it is thoughtful and well written. We as supporters know exactly how you feel. You opinion is to be respected as you are currently part of the 20% of supporters who think Worthy should be given more time. We (the majority) as supporters think changes should be made, as for along time its evident that its just not working. Its one thing to struggle with a bad squad but another to get beaten badly by inferior squads. The tactics/selections are totally inept. Its that simple. You said "vitriolic attacks and hate campaign aimed towards Nigel Worthington" No, we have voiced our displeasure at his ability to do his job. If thats the case your post is also of the same ilk. Of course its not. You are giving your opinion on NW and we are giving ours.
19. I think most people agree that the figure who want Worthy out is in the range 70-80% and the remaining 20% are not exactly 100% behind him. Its time to go when you have lost the support of the vast majority of the supporters. Worthy quoted today that the supporters understand football very well. I agree, thats why we think its time for him to go.
20. when Dicky says we are being negative I disagree. The vast majority of supporters (see the polls and quotes from the various supporter clubs) agree that "positive action" must be taken. Any club that ignores the wishes of the majority of supporters is nothing but foolish. Its clearly a bad business decision. Sitting back and doing nothing while obvious problems persist while the manager publicly admits he cannot seem to correct them is extremely negative. My take of the lack of quotes cooming from Delia and the board is a positive one. Unlike other boards I am convinced that Delia and the board are one of the most honest and truthful organizations in the whole of football. They will not come out with "votes of confidence" at the moment or any such rubbish unless they really mean it. I would be very worried if they backed the manager publically after the QPR game as that would indicate that they have not intention of looking at the posibility of replacing Worthy.
21.
And besides besides, would anyone really want a manager who has just proven he can''t cut it in the Prem? And that he didn''t make the right signings in the summer? And that he refuses to play the right...
If the best defence of Worthy is that some of the people named as possible replacemnets would do as bad a job as him then its a sad day. I am sure there are many talented managers in the lower divisions who would love the players/money/supporters/ backing of the board that Worthy has had. In most cases those managers just don`t have the horses. Worthy has the horses, the bookies said Worthy had the horses, yet its plain to see the jockey does not know how to ride.
22.
I agree. We are all upset with how the season is going and it is natural to want to vent our hurt on somebody, but a knee-jerk reaction is rarely the right one.
I have some questions for Dicky. Do you blame Worthy for anything related to our current performance/situation? Is there a point you will stop defending Worthy? Would it take relegation or should we still keep the faith in League one?
23.
If you get 200 messages of support for your letter (which I''ll be surprised if you do) that equals roughly 0.8% of the Norwich fans at Carrow Road on Saturday. So you should also point out that over 9...
This is a very silly reply as most people at the ground do not read this website or may not even have internet access. Maybe all the people in Japan don`t agree with the letter because they did not sign either. The question you should ask is what percentage of fans who "read" the letter agree or disagree with its content. Please feel free to say you don`t agree with the letter and you are happy with how things are going. Maybe only 0.8% of people were booing on Saturday.
24. People who say ''I''ve paid for my ticket, I''m entitled to boo'' are right, but don''t kid yourself that you''re supporting Norwich when you do it. So what should people do? Keep cheering obviously bad performances and bad coaching decisions? Maybe its because we CARE about NCFC that we don`t want to see it go down the path of Notts Forrest and Man City. Its better to take action sooner rather than later. (as in too late!) The manager never picks the same team or formation twice. He is throwing stuff against the wall hoping something will stick. Please tell us all how we should voice our disapproval? The realistic fans know that if we are mid table or worse at Christmas then look for some of our better player to look elsewhere. That will really help our cause to get NCFC back in the prem.
