  1. We tried to tackle this season with a bunch of players that took us down two seasons ago. This will be Bassong''s 4th relegation from the Premier League in 7 years. Tells its own story.
  2. After defeats against Palace and Sunderland which totally killed any momentum we had, not sure why people suddenly think we''re about to get a result at Arsenal, home against United, Watford and Everton. Not happening.
  3. Nah we haven''t been good enough by a long chalk. Going down again unfortunately. Another chance missed to grow as a club.
  4. I think the club should hold a fans forum to include one of the directors, David McNally, Alex Neil and one of the senior players. I''ve long thought that events like this aren''t held often enough. I''ve been to two in the 15 years I''ve been a season ticket holder. I''m sure there''s been more events like this to attend, maybe I just haven''t been aware of them. I know shareholders and club groups hold these events more often. I just think it''s important for these people to be answerable to the fans a bit more. The regular fan. I travel home and away to support Norwich, as I''m sure do many of you, and I''m not impressed with our showing this season. Yes, it was always going to be tough, we were a newly promoted side, but I do think it would be fair for the club to offer fans an opportunity ask questions relating to certain aspects of this season. I''d love to ask about recruitment and the timing of our spending, why (from October) were we changed into a negative outfit on the field, I''d love to ask several questions. Just a thought. Not looking for arguments or anything. Cheers
  5. Think Spurs will do it. Deservedly so too. Plus have a core of English players which is fantastic to see.
  6. ''No good whinging about all that''?? Haha. Weird statement considering all those factors have landed us in this avoidable situation. Like the previous poster mentioned. Sunderland at home, Swansea away, Newcastle away, Villa away, Palace away, Bournemouth away, Watford away - now sorry to "whinge" but maybe we could''ve tried just a little bit harder in those games?? Again, really sorry whinge.
  7. Maybe. Tough to see it though. Players haven''t exactly run through brick walls for Alex Neil this season.
  8. You''re more positive than me mate. Like I say, just feel we haven''t done enough in all departments this season. Poor at board level in terms of recruitment, especially in the summer. Lacked experience at management level in terms of tactics, team selection, sub timings, also the team just haven''t done enough either. It''s funny, I never even considered relegation until about March, I was convinced we''d stay up, but I simply don''t think we''ve done enough.
  9. You could argue that, yeah. Sunderland did OK Saturday though, didn''t they?! Newcastle starting to pick up points too. Those two sides gaining momentum whereas our momentum is dead, especially with the Klose news added to it.
  10. Looking at the fixtures, I''d say its out of the two North East sides. Bit more grit and fight about them too. It''s a toss up between them. I think the last two games say lots about us. We haven''t done enough this season when it''s really mattered. Lost too many important, winnable games since Christmas.
  11. Nah they did cut the budget by quite a few million. If £50m isn''t accurate, it''s not far off.
  12. 3-1 Norwich. 2-0 up, they''ll get one back. We score late to win it.
  13. I agree. Whilst he and Bowkett clearly disliked each other, I imagine Lambert looks back with regret. Villa killed his promising career. Something McNally will remind Alex Neil of when so called bigger clubs come calling.
  14. Haha people on here make me laugh. Neville will be England head coach and we''ll be lucky to have him. Great guy.
  15. Just posted this on another thread but applies here too: The injury to their goalkeeper may galvanise Newcastle. I still think we could be in danger of being done over in this game. A 0-1 similar to the WBA defeat of two seasons ago. Ultimately I''m positive about it all but am being held back by a huge amount of caution.
  16. This may galvanise them though. I still think we could be in danger of being done over in this game. A 0-1 similar to the WBA defeat of two seasons ago. Ultimately I''m positive about it all but am being held back by a huge amount of caution.
  17. Edgy about the next three games. I think all three relegation threatened teams will win games between now and the end of the season. The difference is we have to win 3, they both have to win 4. I think we can win 3. I''m not convinced either of those teams can get 4 wins.
  18. First time at palace for me too. Tickets booked.
  19. Hard to argue with that Keith. Only under Lambert was that different. I''m confident. That Watford home game will be huge I reckon.
  20. Dreamt we won the game 0-1 so will stick to that.
  21. Simply put, whilst this is a blow, it doesn''t relegate us. All the pressure for survival is on Newcastle and Sunderland with their massively experienced managers. Nothing is expected of us. We can thrive off that.
  22. Huge blow of course but Redmond is inconsistent to say the least. We look stronger with him, obviously, but if we are to stay up it''ll take a mammoth team effort and won''t be down to any individuals. Redmonds has bags of talent - rarely shows. Whilst this is a blow, I think losing players like Klose, Bamford, Howson, indeed Tettey is worse at this time of the season.
