Right, after watching the match on Saturday & seeing us utterly humiliated against a very very good side, I think I have worked out our best starting 11 and the positions: Firstly, Greeno at No1. Across the back, no suprises, Drury-Charlton-Flemming-Eddie or Helveg Midfield: I''m going with quick attacking wingers & strength & robustness in the middle. Therefore, On the right we have young Bentley, in the middle Safri & Francis, and on the left, Huckerby. I''m bound to get criticism for the inclusion of Hux in midfield, but HE IS NOT A STRIKER!!! He is our pacy winger that chips in with goals. He plays in the same style as Pires, Giggs, Duff, etc. He is not a natural goal scorer - when was the last time you saw him toe poke one home or rise at the far post to nod one in? NEVER! Besides, at the moment, he rarely gets the ball as the people we play accross the middle (Holt, etc) do not have the flair to get past their man to pass to him, therefore argubly our best player is redundant. So strength in the middle & young pace & flair on the wings - that is what the best sides in the Premiership have. Which means who the **** do we have up front? MacKenzie for sure. Then we lack the other striker. For now maybe try Jarvis. If not, dare I say it - Svenson? Come the Jan sales, I''m sure we will get a good (£1m - £2m)striker as the board will have had enough of watching our lack of finishing. Maybee Ashton, maybee Hartson, I dunno. (PS: This Van Persie guy at Arsenal - he''s not playing at present. Is he an out and out striker - Could we loan him?) Let me know your thoughts about my ideas on this formation.

I''ve been on there before, but to be honest the first place you really here about news is here on the message board. You will be suprised just how many posters on this site know more than you would imagine about our great club. That site just lists odd rumours & any real news will be on here first. Stick to this message board for anything thats worth anything.

I''m intersted to know if anyone else has been to Delias restaurant before the match? I''ve been twice now & I have to say that it is absolutely brilliant & I am proud of what we have to offer as a club. Ok, it''s pricey, but you should cover all market segements at a football match - and both times it was completely full. The food is something else & the service is great too. But the little things that made the difference were Bryan Gunn & Jerry Goss doing the rounds & going to every table and seeing that everyone was ok & enjoying themselves. Bryan seemed so happy just chatting & laughing - he is such an ambassador of the club. Then at 2:15, the team sheets are given to table, literally hot off the press & up comes the token ladbrookes chap to take some more cash from you. Anyway, I''m lucky enough to be going again tomorrow & can''t wait. Just wondered what everyone elses opinion was of the restaurant & whether you had been & what you had heard?

Why is it that (Palace excluded) we seem to be overun in the first 45, then come back out a different team in the second? Is this deliberate? Does Worthy fear we can''t keep that pace up for the whole match, so try and keep it tight in the first, then nick something in the second? Or are we simply scared of the recent iconic sides & only get a grip in the second?

Well, I am the Paradox & my image is of myself. I have to be honest, it''s not as I usually look, but a photo taken of me as I celebrated Christmas at my girlfriends house with a few other mates (smytherlips & Canaria Glorificus to name but two). We had to dress as something Christmassy, so off I went to the fancy dress shop. The first thing I saw was this Bee outfit, so without further adoo Isurged forwards, grabbed it, took it to the counter & it was mine. Does anyone know whether we can still get loans in when the transfer window is firmly shut?? I only ask, because in the Evening Standard (London) last night it said that Curbishley had told Graeme Stuart & J Johnanson to forget about wanting to out on loan to the Binners & Canaries & get on with winning a place in the first team. Perhaps all is not over yet.......

Well Done Susie B! Getting a new song for Hux is a must. I love the Robin hood one, it is catchy & simple, therefore criteria met! But how do you get it sung from here...?? 1st Wiz, am I looking too far into this, but I keep noticing that your references to HE & HIM are all in capital letters. Is this a sign of his initials, or perhaps that he has some reference to a man in his name. ie, Steve MacMANaman (although he would be a crap signing!). Anyone else noticed this or have I just been smokin.....

I often wonder if any of you lot out there are actually a little more involved in the club than us usual fans. Are any of you players? If I was a player, I would be genuinely interested in what the fans had to say. Likewise, I may have a little look if I was a member of staff whether it was a coach, PR man or Delia. Therefore, I would be very interested to hear who on this board you think may be a little more involved in the club than you or I. & why do you think this person is? Paradox (or should I just say MWJ)

I had a bidding auction last night in the pub with 8 other mates. Despite my aim of getting Hux, I got too involved with other bids and ended up with Drogba & Saha. What do you guys think of Drogba - will he score points? However, I promised myself I would get one canary, obviously not a defender, and before long Bentley was mine!!!
