1. Somw reckon he could well have done a better job than Howson yesterday.   OTBC
 2. Just love this description of City. Not sure why.   Maybe because to me it seems to capture the essence of our being these days.   Can anyone think of a better or accurate description in a sentence or phrase of five words or fewer?   A Mars bar to the winner.     OTBC
 3.

Every time I''ve seen Korey I''ve been impressed. It''ll be interesting to see how Hughton develops him, hopefully taking him up to Prem level. I believe he has the ability, energy &, perhaps above all, attitude to make the grade. His whole persona just seems so Norwich that he would fit the club''s ethos perfectly. I really, really hope the lad makes it.
Exactly what you said. I think one of the hardest things for him has been nailing down a preferred position. Whenever I''ve seen him play he''s done well in each position, but his best (imo) seemed to be the more defensive midfield or box-to-box role. The energy and tenacity he has is his best asset. I really hope this stint at Yeovil improves him and he at least deserves a chance in the league above (like he got with Barnsley last season, but unfortunately got injured I think). Adeyemi played the 2nd half for Brentford in their last game and they''re 2nd in the League and looking good. It can only be a good thing for him to be involved with a team going for promotion
Korey is back with City this week and to have talks about his future. Any news yet?     OTBC
 4. Delia is currently getting huge worldwide visibility from  lingering shots with accompanying background comments in every one of our Premier League matches.   As we become more successful in this league curiosity about our ''celebrity owner'' will grow exponentially - especially as she is a successful woman in what is still substantially a man''s world.     Add to that the facts that we are becoming ''successful underdogs'' and are the only club in the prem with a  black manager who also happens to be secure, successful and respected, then the marketing and investment potentials arising from this worldwide profile could be enormous if correctly handled. Hence the link with Front Row.   I wonder if someone has been reviewing and updating that Deloitte report....   OTBC
 5. Neither thanks.   One hopes that we will step up a level here.   OTBC
 6. Instructive isn''t it?   I mean those who are obsessed with Ipswich.   OTBC
 7.
Finally, Norwich City are not a ''nice'' team of nearlies. The team we have now has a confidence, almost an arrogance in themselves. It is a belief that is hard to find. Our players now actually know that they are good players or have bag loads of potential. It is a good form of arrogance - not complacent but just belief. Players like Bassong, Garrido and Tettey ooze quality, but others now have that belief that being a regular premier league player and team gives them. Players such as Johnson, Pilkington and Snodgrass simply believe in themselves. I think Hughton has given them this confidence. And this also emanates from our captain, Grant Holt. He has shown what hard work can do and he is now a confident PL player. No defenders want to come up against him. Believe you, me. This team is going places if they get the chance to grow and improve together.
Good post Pabs.   OTBC
 8.
Can''t see that as ironic. It''s only the ever so ''umble who keep bleating on about us only having to beat the bottom teams and them having to lose all their games.   What is always overlooked is that games won or lost don''t happen in isolation. If Reading beat Arsenal tomorrow then it keeps us 7th.  Likewise Villa beating Liverpool on Saturday.   We are currently in 7th place, it is those teams around us at the moment whose results can affect our league position, not those ten points or more below.   Some fans need to look up a bit more.
Chris Hughton wouldn''t agree  with you.   OTBC
 9.
it was on a few other threads also   something the ''relegation fodder'' merchants are now trying to avoid
Well then, you should be happy that he publicized it again and helped to further ram it down their throats, shouldn''t you.   By the way - mind telling us why you avoid capital letters and certain puctuation marks, but not others?   OTBC
 10. Riddle me this, riddle me that   There''s few so righteous as those converted from the reds........   OTBC
 11. Could he return to bolster our central midfield resources?   http://www.thisissomerset.co.uk/story-17578411-detail/story.html   OTBC
 12.
Just be grateful Bly that somebody responded to one of the 5 threads you started yesterday.[:P] Mind you there is another one further down that needs a bump.[;)]
When does Lappy''s shift start today?   OTBC
 13.
Wings is right. He is a blue/red. I am more annoyed at his middle class snobbery rather than his plasticity. But not that annoyed.
What''s wrong with middle class snobbery? It drives the growth of nations.   However, I can assure you that in those days one was just as likely to have had  piss running past one on the terrace (or flying overhead) at Ninian Park as at Cardiff Arms Park! I found both to be rather unpleasant places.   [C]   OTBC
 14.
Bly, I get you entirely but why do you need to make your own thread on this subject when there is one on it already? You do this every game like you feel your opinion is more superior than anyone else''s? Why? In less than 49 characters...go
Which one were you thinking that I should have put it on?   And maybe whilst you''re about you could tell us why you felt the need to change your forum name recently? I mean I''ve been old Bly for about 9 years now.   OTBC
 15.
I hate these journalists with their opinions.
Who is he/she?   OTBC
 16. Especially for the Canary diaspora. Haven''t seen them posted before. Apologies if they have been.   http://www.101greatgoals.com/goals/england/villa-reach-the-capital-one-cup-semis-after-demolishing-norwich-at-carrow-road/   OTBC
 17.
Southampton''s revival and Newcastle''s decline is a reminder that this league is far from settled. Keep doing what we''ve been doing since the Arsenal game.
Agreed. Then we''ll get closer than 4 pts off Europe!   OTBC
 18. Have Liverpool ever acquired anyone from us? Can''t think of any off-hand. There have been several movements to ManU, ManC, Chelsea over the years though.   OTBC
 19.
Didn''t realise the posts were vetted by the grammer police. How pompous!
Not at all Percy. Quite frankly, I wouldn''t have bothered with starly''s interesting post if Davo hadn''t sorted it out a bit.   And starly didn''t mind.   OTBC
 20. My goodness St. Ives, you sent me to my Concise Oxford twice in one post..........bugging up for tonights scrabble tournament are you......?   And as for our Primark of the Forum...............well, if he hadn''t started it we wouldn''t be here would we? Bless him........... Legs eleven! Quack, quack!   OTBC
 21. Well Shef it seems it''s the EPL measure which operates thusly onbehalf of UEFA:   Ranking All representative teams from a football association are responsible for the score of the Fair Play ranking of that association. This includes matches of all national teams and all clubs in all UEFA competitions. The ranking is composed from 1 June until 31 May the following year. The criteria for the ranking is Fair Play.   Criteria Teams are judged on the following criteria: Yellow and red cards: If no cards are shown the score will be 10. Every yellow card will deduct this total by 1. A red card will cost a team 3 points in the ranking. If the red card is the result of a second yellow card the deductions of the second yellow card will be ignored. But if a player gets a direct red card after he got a yellow card earlier, the yellow card will be counted as a deduction. This score could become negative Positive play: e.g. attacking tactics, acceleration of the game, efforts to gain time, and continued pursuit of goals. A team can score a maximum of 10 points and a minimum of 1 point Respect to the opponent: e.g. returning the ball to the opponent at a throw-in, helping an injured opponent: maximum 5 points, minimum 1 point Respect to the referee: maximum 5 points, minimum 1 point Behaviour of the team officials: maximum 5 points, minimum 1 point Behaviour of the fans: maximum 5 points, minimum 1 point NB: this criterion is ignored when the number of fans is negligible e.g. if there are no fans at all or because of penalty that was given by the UEFA The total number of points will be divided by the maximum number of points, 40 (or 35 if there are a negligible amount of fans), and multiplied by 10 which will result in a score between 0 and 10. The score is calculated to two decimal points and not rounded up.   !   OTBC
 22. The ESPN measure by which we''re 1st:   http://soccernet.espn.go.com/stats/fairplay/_/league/eng.1/barclays-premier-league?cc=3888   And the BPM measure by which we''re 8th:   http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/matchday/fair-play.html   And they reckon that Holty is ''dirty'' but he doesn''t appear on the Player Discipline list on which we have none listed but Swansea !!!   http://soccernet.espn.go.com/stats/discipline/_/league/eng.1/barclays-premier-league?cc=3888   OTBC
Somebody suggested this about Chris again after last night, but I just stood there and tapped my right foot......   OTBC
