  1. If Man City win with less than a 3 goal margin I’ll consider it progress. 3-1 Man City
  2. PLM made two awful passes early on but I still thought he had a good game. It’s possible to play well even if they do make errors here and there. All players do make mistakes in games.
  3. I actually think Everton are in trouble. They spent money but I’m not sure they spent it all that wisely. I also don’t really rate Lampard as a manager, he’s been out the game a while now and never really did a lot to suggest he was a especially great manager when he was in post.
  4. Well, it shows the improvement that we are disappointed with a draw against a decent Palace side. I don’t think we would be getting that point under Farke.
  5. We looked better after the subs though. We’re playing more forward in their half and much less pressure on us right in front of defence, so his changes did work.
  6. I love that the commentators keep saying “it’s not the cleanest strike” like anyone gives a ****.
  7. At least Smith isn’t afraid to change things though. He will makes subs if it’s going wrong and they are needed
  8. I can see Everton being easier to catch than Newcastle so that result isn’t a disaster. I still don’t see Burnley getting much, Man U are terrible at the moment - more disappointed we didn’t get a point against them as well.
  9. I agree, the hype helps nobody and I’m pretty sure if they could, the club and Gilmour would tell them to shut up and stop it.
  10. The club do rate him, that’s shown by the fact Smith plays him when he’s fit. It’s the fans that don’t like him.
  11. To be honest I don’t rate Patterson defensively that much, he definitely has ability going forward and plenty of room to learn, but I will be surprised if he ends up first choice at right back for either Everton or Scotland until he improves defensively a bit. I also pretty highly rate McGinn and McGregor in the Scotland midfield, McGregor doesn’t get much coverage as he’s opted to stay at Celtic but is a excellent player on his day. I would like to have seen him in the Premiership or abroad. I do really rate Gilmour when he plays for Scotland (and not just against minnows!) but McGregor and McGinn are a big part of why he plays as well as he does, because they have quality as well.
  12. They still spent the money on players though. Just because they got money in for Emi, doesn’t mean they have to then go and spend that money, or even some of that money, on new players. It’s not misleading, it’s factually correct.
  13. It’ll be interesting to see how he does elsewhere, he’s pretty clearly not going to feature much in the team this season so he may as well go.
