grefstad 0 Posted May 15, 2014 I have got a feeling Henning Berg may well be a surprise candidate. He is currently manager at Legia Warzaw, and look set to win the league with them. Only took over in December though, so he has not been there long.He did some scouting for us, remember, before being appointed Legia manager.I dont rate him much though. Did not succeed as manager in Norway, and as a former defender, we all know his mindset and focus...

grefstad 0 Posted May 15, 2014 As it was said, it is a feeling.Nothing more, nothing less. And to those of you deluded enough to think top managers will flock to Carrow Road, think again. We have to pick manager from far down on the ladder, me thinks

canary27uk 0 Posted May 16, 2014 Robert Fleck did some scouting for us in Scotland, do you have the same feeling he could be a surprise candidate or has the medication kicked in yet? ;)
PKC 0 Posted May 16, 2014 Clearly this is nonsense but I must respond to the idea that the position someone played has a bearing on their style of football as a manager.John Bond was a defender but as a manager played open attacking entertaining football. Ken Brown and Dave Stringer''s teams were hardly particually defensive either.Ron Saunders who was a cenre forward was shall we say rather more pragmatic.
