But there is one possibility as a result of Man City only drawing. All the emphasis has been on whether Arsenal will play us needing a result to be certain of fourth place. But they could instead (or as well as!) be in with a chance of overtaking Man City for 3rd, which would mean not having the lottery of the qualifying round. Surfer 1,547 Posted April 16, 2014 The Man City result take a lot of pressure off of Liverpool, i.e. even if they lost against us, as long as they then beat Chelsea at home they would still be ahead of Chelsea and at worst even with Man City with just two games to play against Crystal Palace and Newcastle.
