23 in 36 last season, yeh ok it is scotland but he was also playing in a much less capable team than hooper.worth a punt ? we need 2 more strikers imo, along with the "big" money striker we are apparently after city need someone else whos happy to compete for a place and knows where the goal is,  hes young, and wouldnt break the bank

Am I the only one that thinks we only need one more central striker? 4231 or 433 is the way to go so why do we need 4 strikers. Van wolf will play when fit so that leaves becciho and who ever we get fighting over a bench spot. Would rather see Morris or the twins given the forth choice spot. I see a 4th striker (unless young and unproven) a waste of money.

Cover for injury is vital plus we need a goal scoring number 10.

We need more goals in the Squad and if our new number 10 can get into double figures it will take some pressure off wolfie.

This is the single most important position to fill without a goal scoring number 10 we are likely to be similar to last year and if the opposition marks RVW tight we will not score.

im guessing this is a joke. hardly what we need. might aswell have kept vaughan or jackson. we are meant to be going onto the next level not signing rejects. this bloke got loaned out to scotland because not deemed good enough for championship. hes only stayed at wolves because they are now league 1 and thats what scottish prem level is

Steven Fletcher came to England and scored more goals than he did in the SPL. There are as many success stories as their are flops. 

Three of our own came to England from the SPL: Robert Snodgrass, Wes Hoolahan, Steven Whittaker. 

Steven Naismith and Shaun Maloney haven''t exactly flopped, think I''d have either of them to compete for the spot behind the striker.

For me we definitely need a 4th attacking player - one injury and a or a loss of form and we are where we wee last season - with no options to change to 2 up front either during the game or to start a game.

a player like quag makes sense as the play off a striker - but definitely two more needed
