Good time to be playing QPR?

Recommended Posts

May have at least 2, or as many as 3 or 4 new signings for Saturday. Most of them would probably start the game as you don''t spend £20m+ for them to sit on the bench with games running out. Bound to create to a lot of misunderstanding/confusion - unknown team mates, new enviroment, different tactics, different formation. Could we just be lucky that we''re playing them before everything settles down?

That is Hughton''s motto!

His motto is a 0 v 0 draw not just any draw

This represents our best chance for three points in the league for the best part of two months and I think everyone involved knows it, a win for us would also almost certainly break QPR who seem to have built a little momentum without actually being very much improved other than defensively. Tactically they are a shambles, ''Arry is simply playing the game by numbers ie a team worth 2x will beat a team worth x there''s certainly not much evidence of the dreaded "plan". We appeared genuinely revitalised against Spurs and we certainly don''t have to worry about a strike force of anything like the strength Spurs threw at us in the second half.I see QPR as a team of individual stars which doesn''t actually have any stars with the possible exception of their goalkeeper who has been playing well of late. Start two up front with Snoddy and Pilks marauding and the match could be over by half time. 3-1 to us unless Whittaker plays in which case 3-0 to us as he''ll stop Taraabt.

Given our performances away from home, I suspect our strategy will be to go for 0-0. We''ll however concede, Harry will scent blood, and we''ll lose 3-0. Perhaps, lose 3-1 if we play Hooper or other new unknown striker.

[/quote]have you seen QPR play since Harry took over? Harry wouldn''t know what to do, who to take off, who to put on, what changes to make to the formation to adapt to anything that might happen on the pitch. Charismatic yes but an astute football manager he is not.
