Recommended Posts

If anyone is watching the Manchester derby, Joe Hart''s #1 England jersey is surely there for the taking, he didnt even flinch for that Roonaldo goal.

I don''t think that was really saveable.  Maybe Forster due to extra height and reach, but certainly not Hart or Ruddy IMO.

Rooney scuffed it and it took a slight nick on the way through. Very hard to adjust as a goalkeeper. Particularly when it also goes through a defenders legs. Joe Hart is England''s best keeper for me. However Ruddy certainly wasn''t far off that standard with some of his recent performances.

Don''t care about England I want him fit for us. Bunn doesn''t have the same presence from crosses into the box that ruddy has.

What''s happening with Cody? Genuine question as I haven''t been keeping an eye on it.

regardless of being wrong footed, you would hope that his instincts / reflexes would have at least made him move ?Ruddy would have had a finger on that second as well ! ;)

Really thought he would be a prolific forward at league 1 level.

He would be if on the pitch, but Robins favours McGoldrick etc who are doing an excellent job.

Well, I''ve always rated Forster above Ruddy mainly due to his superior physical attributes which are crucial to a keeper. He''s done nothing at Celtic to make me change that view.

Perhap''s we''ve been spolit as Ruddy''s been so good this season but Bunn doesn''t look very confident particularly on crosses. He was badly at fault in not coming out for the cross that lead to Swansea''s third goal yesterday.
He was badly at fault in not coming out for the cross that lead to Swansea''s third goal yesterday.
He appeared to me to be put off by the Swansea player in an offside position right in the centre of the goal. Although not receiving the ball directly the players presence drew Bunn momentarily and caused the split seconds hesitation which left him out of position.
