magic_eyes 0 Posted April 10, 2005 I think for the first time this season we now all know what our best first eleven is. And I think we have a great chance of staying up now if we stay injury and suspension free.Well done Worthy for making the changes, and lets see this line up start against Palace and all the remaining games this season.------------ Green --------------Helveg Fleming Shackell DruryBentley Safri Francis Huckerby------- Ashton McKenzie --------Subs:WardCharltonJonsonStuartSvennsonOTBC

StevenageFan 0 Posted April 11, 2005 must admit I have been on Flemings back this last couple of months and would still love to see Doc partner Shacks, but he had a great game on Saturday and deserves to start again.Wheres Charlton, is he injured?
The Ghost of Percy Varco 0 Posted April 11, 2005 Huckerby is still better when played up front but McKenzie did ok on Saturday when he didn''t have too much time on the ball so didn''t need to think.Drury had a reasonable game but sil gave the right winger far too much space as he usually does. Charlton should start ahead of Drury as he was fit but who knows what''s going on there.
DumbleDelia is Magic 0 Posted April 11, 2005 I still wouldn''t mind the Doc in for Flem but you are right. We now have at our disposal our strongest team to pick from. It''s just such a bloody shame it''s taken until April to happen!
Northern Canary 0 Posted April 11, 2005 Fleming deserves another chance but i wouldnt mind if he was switched for Doc or Charlie.Who can combat Andy Johnson?
essexcanary 0 Posted April 11, 2005 the reason we won was because holt wasnt playing!!! simple as!!!graham stuart is the WORST player i''ve seen in a norwich shirt in 10years, as soon as bentley came on, we score!!!thank god worthy has seen sense, shame it came 20 games to late. Who killed the Croutons 0 Posted April 11, 2005 I agree Magic Eyes,, you are by far the most intuative and wise of all posters on this board! You must also have played football at a fairly decent level and I bet you were the star of the team...
westoncanary. 0 Posted April 11, 2005 It was good to see someone in midfield who can both tackle & pass, (Safri), but a different ref could have sent him off for persistant fouling. I''m not complaining though, he broke up their midfield all day long, not pretty but yery effective. Bentley was class, Ashton-LEGEND, Hux-tracked back!! & Leon-never stops working. Is Shacks a John Terry in the making or what? He was everywhere on Saturday and even overshadowed Ferdinand, no mean feat. Feels good today doesn''t it? Tumbleweed 106 Posted April 11, 2005 It wasn''t just our best team, but also they actually pased well, closed down the opposition, made some tackles, defended higher up the pitch and looked totally determined. The combination of both and what can happen as a result shows just how frustrating it has been. Had we had our first choice team with those attributes above all season we would already be safe.
