Bill 1,788 Posted March 2, 2012 apologies to all as I have posted this elsewhere, however a further text has suggested there is more to come so perhaps it needs it''s own threadhttp://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2109482/Jimmy-Bullard-suspended-Ipswich-drinking-binge.html?ito=feeds-newsxml

BroadstairsR 2,273 Posted March 3, 2012 Wonderful. What sweet revenge for their constant gloating at our temporary demise into League One. Nice to see that all that Evans money is being squandered in various night clubs in the North-East. What a successful bonding session that turned out to be. Mind you any club that appoints Porno Paul as a manager can hardly expect two over-paid social deviants like Bullard and Chopra to respect the club and their highly over-charged supporters. A tabloid tart, a gambling addict, an habitual drunk and a playing staff that requires a full-time Marjorie Proops in the dressing room, to say nothing of a £60m debt, the sooner this shambles of a club get relegated into obscurity the better. Yes, I was there on that memorable day when the cretins waved five pound notes in our faces.
Robert N. LiM 6,302 Posted March 3, 2012 "Mind you any club that appoints Porno Paul as a manager can hardly expect two over-paid social deviants like Bullard and Chopra to respect the club and their highly over-charged supporters."Possibly the best sentence that I have ever read on this website.(Other than ''Glenn Roeder has been sacked as Norwich City manager'', of course)
Canarino 0 Posted March 3, 2012 I was just laughing at the comment about Marjorie Proops, it''s rare these days to see her get a mention anywhere (least of all on a football message board)!
Reggie Strayshun 0 Posted March 3, 2012 What a classy act they''re running down the road. There are more chavs at Poorman Rd than at a Tenerife cocktail bar. Bullard is just one of those guys that seems to attract trouble like a magnet, wherever he goes. When he was a bit younger all this "cheekie chappie cockney boy" stuff was a bit of fun. Now it''s just tiresome, and, in truth a little sad. And, to think that there were some on this very board who were advocating Norwich signing him last summer....... grantroederdisaster 0 Posted March 3, 2012 Yet more money p*ssed away by the S*um! Bullard was good for them while on loan but as soon as he signed a full contract he has gone missing bigtime! S*it atitude which is why he fell out with Hull, crazy to think that last summer we were linked with him!
Trent Canary 0 Posted March 3, 2012 Signing Bullard, Ellington, Ingimarrson, Chopra etc.Reminds me of the Glen Roeder days. Makes you appreciate Lambert all the more.
Bill 1,788 Posted March 3, 2012 As said elsewwhere Mr Broadstains was rather uncannily accurate when earlier yesterday evening he posted up -"Any club that agrees to pay the ever loveable Jimmy Bullard getting on for £20, 000 a week for sitting on his bum cracking jokes deserve all they get"The £60m debt he quoted is now most likely nearer £75m as it was actually £66m last June and I see nothing at Poorman Rooad that would not suggest another £10m loss. Unless of course Marcus Evans stopped charging them interest. However we are almost into the realms of sematics, as it probably matters little were it to be £60m or £75m. It is a figure that is unpayable by the paupers. They would need a minimum of 9 years continously in the Premier League, paying £10m a year (inc compounded interest) to clear that debt. I don''t think you could avoid relegation too long if you were to be diverting that much away from the playing budget. So set against that precarious position the Bullard suspension is rather like a condemned man finding a chip missing from his final meal.ps would Marjorie Proops have an ''issues'' page nowadays ? And I will add that when you desist from insulting your fellow posters and drop the "terminally dim" rubbish you come up with some very sound stuff. I am in line with you, especially your total disdain for every happening at the Loo.

I would not say that it applies in this particular instance, but I''m afraid I''ve lost track of the number of postings I''ve seen on fora where someone has written a most insulting, threatening contribution , and then pretends to lessen the effect merely by putting a "smiley " or an equally pointless emoticon at the end of it. An insult is an insult, no matter how hard you try to dress it up as "banter", or sticking a yellow smiley face by it.
