pete 371 Posted March 19, 2012 MH reckons QPR will be safe and their home form can keep them up see SSN. 2 home wins all season. Can''t see them or Wigan overhauling our current total and Wolves will be in same boat provided we can prevent them winning Saturday. Lambo to put out strongest team to prevent that result. Steve Kean also reckons other teams could be sucked in to relegation struggle of bottom 5, let''s ensure he''s wrong.

Yorkshire Canary 118 Posted March 19, 2012 There are a number of issues here. Hughes must be seriosly worried and with him most QPR management and fans. They panicked getting rid of Warnock who has suddenly transformed the fortunes of Leeds. Hughs has spent a lot of cash with little return at the moment. I would suggest that the main games that could have transformed their season have already gone.Any 3 of the bottom 5 can go down but QPR with their form and run in and Wolves look the least likely. I see no prospect of any other clubs getting drawn into the relegation mix. Those comments must be aimed at Stoke, Villa and Norwich. The bottom 3 clubs are 14 points behing and with about 10 games left cannot buy a win let alone 5 which is the least they need and even then Stoke, Villa and Norwich would not have to pick up any more points. I have thought for ages about 34 points will keep teams up this season and there is little prospect of the bottom 3 getting that many

TIL 1010 5,246 Posted March 19, 2012 I used to rate Hughes to a certain degree and had no strong feelings one way or the other when he managed Blackburn,Man City and Fulham but i think this latest statement has swayed my judgement.

Syteanric 1 Posted March 20, 2012 still think QPR will be looking for another manager before the season ends....Hughes has a reputation to protect... sitting at home waiting for the phone to ring is a much better choice than staying at QPR!

Gingerpele 0 Posted March 21, 2012 I''m delighted with their result, just after they made it 2-2, Tote had them at 12-1 to win, put £2 on, not a big return but i''m happy enough :D
