Looks like Werndly hasn't made the grade

Recommended Posts

There are a rather special couple I saw on Facebook today, the lad was a Gillingham fan and the girl was a Norwich fan, perhaps she has been speaking to ''Hess'' about Werndly...

There are millions of kids who come to this club, some we let slip through the net others are simply not good enough....I''m not in a position to comment what Jack was....

Hi, In the article, were it states Werndly has gone away for the weekend. He was playing in Guernsey for the Norwich under 18''s and although the P.A system was very dodgy and nearly all the scorers sounded the same,i am sure he got at least two goals. But as said, lots of the kids come and go. We will probably buy him back in 5-6 years time for some silly fee.

From my source (Ketchup) Matt Ball is the only one from current 3rd year crop to be offered pro deal...not sure if Werndly is a third year scholar or below?

Didn''t he have an injury or something after playing quite well? Shame if he goes and doesn''t come through to first team, but I''m sure the coaches and PL know his potential. Be good to get some boys through in next couple of years..

For any young player from the youth team to get in our side at the momment he''s going to have to be really special. When you think Korey Smith cant get in, it''s hard to see an area where a youth player might make a break through and hold down a place. Of course football changes really quickly but if we were to get promoted it''d be even harder for them.
