Gerry Harrison 2 Posted March 21, 2011 When we sold Dale Gorden to Rangers, Chairman Chase was quoted as saying we could buy two Dale Gordens with the money we got for him. We never signed anyone, but the new Barclay Stand was built around that time, hence it quickly became known as the Two Dale Gordens Stand.
Bill 1,788 Posted March 22, 2011 On that basis it should be the Football trust end as they stumped up £2m of the £2.8m cost. Point being is that fans should keep what is theirs rather than have an outside sponsor dictating to them ie Aviva Norwich City - or more frighteningly the possibility of The Morrison''s Stadium as with the Emirates, the Rebok etcKeep to the fans names, keep the club belonging to us if only in the one way we can.(as to a disco dave end, no way. He was a binner despite playing for us)
