InLambertWeTrust! 0 Posted February 12, 2011 The best thing about today is that we now face the Leeds game next week with the guarantee of being in the playoffs even if the worst should happen and we lose *God forbid [;)]*.If we just focus on the next 4 games then Leeds is by far the hardest (in my opinion) and a massive confidence boost like today can only help morale within the team. Today was so so crucial (bearing next week in mind) and now we go into next week not really needing to win - although I would love to obviously and I''m certain the team will go there with that intention.I''d take a draw now! LS10 0 Posted February 12, 2011 Looking forward to next week, we (Leeds) seem to be coming into a bit of form and you have been up there with us all season because, as all us Leeds fans know you are a very good side too, with a similirlarly good manager. We will definately fill the home ends and i assume with your good support, you will be taking your full allocation, will make for a great atmosphere.Should be fun next week here in Yorkshire. MOT.

Thats what I love about the game!I was a stuard at Leeds for three years whilst studying at Leeds and I hated the Leeds fans (sorry, too expectant). This was during your CL tenure btw. You''re spot on, though two excellent mangers. I slightly prefer ours! I think it will be a great game but my money is on Norwich this time.I think when it comes to the make or break time we have the edge. Sorry!Atmosphere will be electric. But dont expect a win. We are too good at the moment. Forrest however concern me, as Im sure you agree with that.
Boyo 0 Posted February 12, 2011 I think we are a better team than Leeds but now with Barnett out I am quite worried. The have a lot of pace going forward and I don''t know if Ward and Whitbread will be able to cope. They are also pretty poor at the back though so I reckon we will score at least 2! Lambert will have you well fired up and i think you are really gonna take some beating, our form at home has been great (as has yours) and i think if we can come out fighting, keep the fans with us for as long as possible and make sure we can get Gradel and Snodgrass on the ball at all times, we will have a great chance.Of course there''s always the problem of keeping you out at the other end ha ha.That 2nd spot is so up for grabs which makes next weeks game so big, if anyone can come out of it with 3 points, that''ll be a massive boost for the rest of the season.Hope its us
Largey 0 Posted February 12, 2011 This is a massive game coming up. After everything these two clubs have done over the past 1 and a half season.....fighting for the League One title......Fraser Forsters miskick.....Chrissy Martins late winner......Leon Barnetts late equaliser.....and now fighting for the Championship, its great to see these two clubs back where they belong, at the top of the league, however going to Elland Road and beating the Dirty Leeds I think would top that all and would confirm anyones doubts that we are not good enough to win promotion. shiplee15 0 Posted February 14, 2011 Leeds, Doncaster, Barnsley and Preston.. Really has to be 10 points if not the full 12! Leeds will be tough as it always will be at Elland Road, Doncaster are a surprisingly strong side as they showed in the fixture earlier on in the season. Barnsley seem to grind out results but they are beatable for us and Preston are fighting for their lives but even with their fight i think we can still put 3 or 4 past them easily. 10 points if not the full 12 and i''ll be happy. Though admittedly even 9 points with a loss at Leeds wouldn''t be the end of the world, but we can''t lose there!

I think statements such as "we are too good at the moment" risk coming back to bite us. We''ve actually beeen quite crap in quite a few games recently and have ground out results before retruning to something approaching our best in the second half at Burnley and on saturday. What you can say is that this team won''t roll over and we will definitely go for the win. We are capable of winning at elland Road but we equally leeds are capable to beating us and if Gradel and Snodgrass are on form this will be a very difficult game. Very little between the two sides if you ask me.
