jon francis 0 Posted January 26, 2005 Seems strange to me that Mcveigh and Brennan are both playing as they started saturday and also Mckenzie who made a good contribution. Why is this?
Thirsty Lizard 3,215 Posted January 26, 2005 McVeigh didn''t start on Saturday!!Anyway it''s not strange at all. None of these three have played a full 90 minutes recently and I guess Worthy just wants to top up their match fitness and keep them sharp. What''s strange about that??? city_lad 0 Posted January 26, 2005 well jon, we dont have another game at the weekend, our next one is everton on the 2nd. Worthy would want the team to keep up their fitness levels. I would also go as far to say that there will probable be an in-house match between our first team and a reserver/youth side just to get some action in

Meeky 0 Posted January 26, 2005
Question for you, which stands and tiers are open for reserve matches?
Jarrold stand (but not the comfy seats) they are reserved for the "executive club" members, but last week as the Arsenal reserves were playing they opened them up to all and sundry! Also the lower Barclay, which is where most of the kids sit, due to the disco, games etc in the Barclay bar area.
jon francis 0 Posted January 26, 2005 I meant Mullers and Brennan. Sorry but if these two are playing why are the whole 1st team not playing? Seems to me they are off before the end of the window?
Ken Aries 0 Posted January 26, 2005
Question for you, which stands and tiers are open for reserve matches?
the south stand and the lower tier of the barclay. around 5000 turnedup for the chelsea match and there was enough room.they did tape offboth ends of the south stand though, so the centre section was fairly full.i do hope people turn up earlier tonight,as it was quite annoying beinghassled to stand up to let late-comers in, up to half an hour after kickoff.
