Nobodys Perfect 0 Posted October 24, 2010 After the games finished yesterday and Jeff announced "a look at the tables," he described us as "the new boys up to forth place." Whilst "new boys" is indeed true for this season, the fact that we have spent around 50 out of 51 years in this division, or higher, I reckon he was having a bit of a giraffe. I love him. grantroederdisaster 0 Posted October 25, 2010 Another National media mogul who follows the "little ole Norwich" stereotype!!
Nolly 0 Posted October 25, 2010 don''t think that''s anything to do with lil ole Norwich, we are the new boys in the league this year and you wouldn''t normally expect a promoted team to be this high, I''ve got no problem with his comments
grantroederdisaster 0 Posted October 26, 2010 Again yet more stereotypes coming out from Nolly! Why wouldn''t a promoted team be this high, its happened before? The opposite to this is everyone assuming relegated sides will do so great in the Championship which doesn''t always occur, indeed many clubs relegated from the Premiership are in a worse state than promoted sides out of League 1! Wings of a Sparrow 1,708 Posted October 26, 2010 The beauty of the Gillette Soccer Saturday team and Jeff Stelling in particular, is that EVERY team is given equal billing. The man is a legend.
