KCanary 0 Posted September 16, 2010 Trainline seems the best, £24 return if you specify a time. If anyone knows any cheaper let me know. Picked up tickets today, love QPR away, complete sh@tpit but great atmosphere.
Ren 75 Posted September 16, 2010 Use Great Western Trains website - they dont charge you a booking fee. Its the same prices as the trainline and all the others. We booked ours last week and got them for £22, so £24 is about right, but dont hang around. Now tickets are out the prices will start to go up quite quickly. 65Vintage 7 Posted September 16, 2010 Try splitting the tickets - often comes out cheaper i.e. booking a ticket from to Norwich to Thetford, then Thetford to Ely etc until you get to London.
Gerry Harrison 2 Posted September 16, 2010 Norwich to London via Thetford and Ely is going a very long way round just to save a couple of quid!
spencer 1970 214 Posted September 16, 2010
Tube prices?
zone 1&2 travel card is £5.60 (this will cover you to/from liv st to white city)...and all over central london for that matter, is from memory, cheaper than a return, and gives you the bonus of covering you for jumping on the bus to lotus rd if needed. My fave away ground...a tight packed ground with a great atmosphere...and if we lose I can be home in 25 mins to kick the cat.
Bethnal Yellow and Green 2,424 Posted September 17, 2010
Tube prices?
If you plan on going to London more than 3 times in the next 10 years or so get an Oyster card, you will save the £3 deposit within a day or two of travelling.
