......and Smith must score.

Gillingham's No.18....

Recommended Posts

Did anyone else think Gillingham''s No.18 looked like a mascot who''d sneaked on to impersonate Danny Jackman ?I thought Stockport''s David Perkins - the one with the blond hair who''s there on loan from Colchester - was small but this guy looked tiny.At 5ft 4ins tall surely he must be one of the shortest professional players around........

Yeah I posted exactly that on the FootballForum.I got some odd looks when I shouted it from the soft seats. I don''t think the posh lot take kindly to ''unwashed public'' like me shouting [:P]Would have made my day if he''d nutmegged Holt and followed the ball through [:D]

Good to see some positive discrimination towards dwarves in my opinion. Not that I have any sort of agenda, obviously.....[:P]

He looked so young as well! I said to my daughter that perhaps he had a note from his Mum to be at the match!

Their little #28 Payne, at right-back, looked tiny as well, but actually looked a pretty good player! Quick wiki search says he is 18 years old as well, worth a watch.

I thought that to, looked composed and confident on and off the ball, definately worth a watch but he hasn''t played much for Gillingham

I actually thought much of McNamees undoing was because of this young lad, rather than McNamee having a bad game. He looked quick and tidy on the ball.
